Beastmaster of the Ages
Chapter 4321 - Total Vaporization
The terra of the sixth Primordial Chaos Beast, the Celestial Sourcepath Progenitor, boosted Tianming's second totemic calamity so much to the point that it was even more destructive on single targets than Ji Ji's Vaporize. Yueling Kun was unfortunate enough to be on the receiving end of it.
All of the decapath era godswords fused into one and instantly wrought soul destruction with Sixth's Sword of Silent Return. Yueling Kun's fifty-thousand-meter-tall form stood no chance against such a strike and experienced total vaporization, dying in a way that was cleaner than Yueling Qian.
Tianming's totemic calamity didn't just kill the prince of Yueling Starcage; it also swept past all the troops in the Ruinless Zone. Anywhere it touched, none of Yueling or Violetblitz's fighters survived, cleansing the entire zone of their blood-red rose insignias, whereas Tianming and Lingfeng's green-leaf insignias were completely untouched. π³ππ²ππ¨ππ―πππ§ππΉ.π°πΌπ
Given the insane numerical disparity of two against one billion, nobody would've expected that the battle would end in such a fashion. Everyone outside the Ruinless Zone fell more silent than they had ever been in their entire lives. They felt as if time itself had stopped, leaving them frozen and staring like silly livestock. The image of the white-haired youth, his beasts, a sea of silver insects and the ghouls that remained was ingrained deeply within their souls to the point that it was something they would forget even after reincarnating for three lifetimes.
It took quite some time for the crowd to split into two groups, one cheering, the other despairing. There wasn't a single person who wasn't in one of those two groups. Even though most of the spectators were supposedly neutral parties from the Vermillion Bird, Torch Dragon, Aquamarine, or members of the flamemaple race, many of them mentally associated themselves with the Yueling side. That was why Tianming had received far more jeers than cheers.
However, the cheering side triumphed over the other side that cried out in despair, seemingly as if nobody apart from those from Yueling and Violetblitz would cry over the losses they had suffered. The unaffiliated worlds would never fish to experience something like that for themselves for they knew that a loss like that could easily make them collapse.
"All eight quasi-imperatores are gone!"
"Most of the talent under the age of a hundred thousand years old is dead! If a world was a person, that's no different from having one's two legs completely sawed off!"
"Don't forget that they also lost their third leg! They'll never give rise to another generation of talented offspring ever again!"
"Don't even say it. Those four noble imperatores would have to birth children for the imperial son... They've lost the last bit of dignity and future that they had!"
The results of the bet were far too staggering. Most people believed that this would've ended in the imperial son being taken hostage, with only very few thinking that the four imperatores would be forced to marry the imperial son. Those that believed the latter and also thought that all one billion troops would be completely massacred. Such an outcome was unheard of and made this little bet into total war gone wrong on historic scales. The forced marriages of the imperatores of Yueling were nothing but appetizers!
Many there began to doubt their visual sense. Even when Tianming gave them all the time they needed to process and react to the news, many cosmic gods were still frozen stiff, even as they watched Tianming clean up the battlefield with Yin Chen, collecting billions of spatial rings in the process. Tianming had no intention of returning the two Grand-Dao-class cosmic relics to Yueling Starcage either and pocketed them as his spoils. This was total war, after all, not a mere fight in the ring.
Tianming turned to the crowd with a smile and said, "Don't worry, my friends from Yueling Starcage. I will not keep those treasures for me alone. As a gift to my four future imperator wives, I will return them to Yueling Starcage ten years after our marriage!"
Once Tianming reminded them about the terms of the bet, they were once more reminded about the extent of their humiliation. Many cosmic gods were completely crushed by their own anger, coughing blood and unable to even walk firmly. Their eyeballs were at the brink of popping out. It was incredibly vexing!
Yueling Xiao and Yueling Zhao took it the worst. It was one thing for them to not be able to save Yueling Hong and fail to take the imperial son as their hostage. They had just lost countless generations of fruits of the Yueling Starcage. Yueling Xiao knelt on the ground in a pool of blood he puked out.
Yueling Zhao slumped weakly to the ground with her tongue hanging out of her drooling mouth like a half-dead dog. People once compared her to Tianming from a hundred thousand years ago, but it turned out that they were in completely different leagues. She had completely lost her flair as an imperator-to-be. Her previous mindset was completely wiped clean. The cosmic gods from Yueling Starcage weren't much better off.
As for the violetblitzians, while their elites didn't show themselves publicly, they still felt a huge blow. They had suffered nearly as many losses as Yueling Starcage, after all. There was only one hope remaining for them.
"Adjudicator, please stand out for us!" cried countless cosmic gods from Violetblitz and Yueling. They kneeled and prayed towards the sky. The cosmic gods from other worlds also waited for the Adjudicator to make an appearance and give his final judgment.
Tianming was quite curious what the Adjudicator would do as well, considering that he didn't stop him from killing everyone in the Ruinless Zone. Somehow, this reminded him of the judges from Heaven's Elysium all that time ago, namely, Song Yixue, Jin Yixuan and a third one whose name he had forgotten.
Song Yixue had left a deeper impression on Tianming. Even though people sharing the same names in different realms were not necessarily the same, the parallels were clear based on which side the judge favored. Tianming wanted to see if this 'Adjudicator' would be this shameless. Even Heaven's Elysium's judges had to put up a pretense of fairness.
"Brother Tianming," Lingfeng said with a regretful look. "Sorry for losing my guard. I almost caused you lots of trouble."
