The narrative is rich with diverse extraterrestrial races, each playing a role in the complex world of trade and alliances. The protagonist faces challenges beyond contracts, including the need for strength and supernatural abilities. Everyone was shocked, including Jeanne.

“I’m a single mother and I have a child. Are you sure you like me?” she said.

“I actually… like your child!”
