... t really wasn’t that bad if you look at it. I mean, the walls were a bit dark and cold, but when the heat hit you that hard, you wanted a cold place to sleep at night. There was a thin cot on one side of the room with an even thinner blanket and something that might resemble a pillow at one end.
On the other side of the room was a ’working’ toilet... well, a bucket and a compost under it, but it was still better than Camp Hell. At least I didn’t have to clean it out myself.
