Eternal life...A blessing or a curse?

But even if the man wanted to live a mundane life, his destiny had other things in store for him, guaranteed to make his life, not smooth sailing.

Without his knowledge, mysterious otherworldly forces were in play whose machinations seemed to revolve around this man.

Only fate can tell whether this immortal man would be able to continue living his life as he wished or if he would come upon unexpected paths and choices that could change his life for better or worse.

Read my obligatory review. This novel contains R18 but not without a good plot. The novel also contains a bit of slice of life but not to the point of annoying fillers. Nie Zihang and Yu Jingxuan’s first encounter took place in the police station late at night. The alpha courteously released him.

He assumed the issue was over until the next day, when a familiar face arrived at the law firm. A casually dressed Yu Jingxuan entered his office and mused, “Mr. Nie has a strong animosity against alphas. Would you mind if I asked you for help suing an ex-boyfriend? I want his reputation to go down.”

Nie Zihang arched his brow. “Oh? More information would be appreciated.”

Only then did he learn that Yu Jingxuan was also engaged in AA relationships. His ex-boyfriend had also cheated on him with an omega.
