Who was Matthias's real identity? Then, why was Matthias so obsessed with her even though they had never met? In order to be free from her unwanted marriage and return to her boyfriend, she made a marriage contract with Matthias. If Matthias failed to win her heart for three months, then they had to divorce and had no right to have any contact with each other anymore. This actually made Matthias even more confident in wanting to win his wife back. It might take a couple of chapters for the world and magic to start to make sense, but I feel like a power system built on solid principles is a lot more rewarding in the long run (...and more IMMERSIVE!).
