The ancient continent of Wu is a place where cultivation is law and the strong reign supreme. Thousands fall to their knees when the strong appear, and rivers of blood flow when they’re angered.

A peak expert known as Xie Di fell and was reborn in a young man beaten into idiocy. He lost all of his memories and his cultivation was crippled, causing him to be despised by all. To rid his shame and fight against the destiny of being toyed by others, the young man cultivated with all his strength, killing experts, and splattering the whole country with blood. All until the day he becomes a martial god who shatters the firmament and scorns mortals.

To exact revenge on her fiance who cheated on her, Xing Shu plotted against her fiance’s uncle, Cheng Lang. “Was my nephew unable to please you?”

On a large, messy bed, Cheng Lang pinched Xing Shu’s chin. The black Buddhist bracelet around his wrist swayed from side to side. Everyone said Cheng Lang was a religious man who stayed away from women.

However, after sleeping with him for a night, Xing Shu expressed how it was actually easy to manipulate him. She only needed to say sweet things to him in a soft, gentle voice, and he’d give her anything she wanted.

“Mr. Cheng is only putting on a show with Xing Shu. He’ll dump her very soon!”

“Xing Shu is a shameless woman. Mr. Cheng would never fall for someone with ulterior motives like her!”

Everyone in Jing City waited for her to make a fool of herself, but nobody knew how Cheng Lang pinned her against the bed at night. “Xing Shu, mention getting a divorce again if you dare.”

Ever since then, Cheng Lang, a man who once belonged on the altar, was brought down by Xing Shu. He experienced what it felt like to be in a relationship like a normal person, and he found joy in it.

Some people find the world to be an awful place while others believe it's an amazing one. Everyone lives their lives differently making each individual different from the next.

Azrail finds himself lost on what to believe since he has lived through what seems like hell yet has saw others simply enjoying the life they are given. Even after going through wars, being abandoned, and losing some of the ones he loved he can't find himself to hate the world.

The only thing he finds himself hating is himself and others who have put him in unforgiving situations.

Join Azrail as he tries to find out who he really is as a person while going through what could be described as hell and trying to search for what makes him happy and surviving whatever this world throws at him.
