Whenever he recalled the past, Clyde felt endless regret. If he had known that being a Suzerain would be so troublesome, he would have never picked up that troublesome Bloodkin. In fact, he would never have even left that secluded Death Canyon.

After the years of fighting monster and Invaders alone, he had become quite adept at surviving. One thing that helped keep him alive was his refusal to get involved with others. He rarely cooperated with teams.One day, Derek broke his rules and decided to lend some help, as the mission didn't seem too hard. He should have stuck to being alone.

Of the ancient gods only one remained in the world. This god lived alone for thousands of years and no longer had any desires. Legend had it that during the great war between the worlds he used his powers to turn the tide managing to seal the cataclysmic rift bringing order back into the three realms. Time flew by and hundreds of years passed in the blink of an eye.

“Rascal, I’m going out to do something, so I can’t take care of you any more. You can go down the mountain and have fun. But if you can’t find someone who matches your Innate Pure Yang Body in three years, you’re finished!”

These were the last words the old man, who was Yang Luo’s teacher, threw to him before he vanished. Meanwhile, having mastered most of his master’s skills, Yang Luo went down the mountain and took his first step into civilization for the first time in years.
