Possessing Nothing - Chapter 43: Behengeru

In a monstrous post-apocalyptic setting, this is a story of how a lowly Inventor, Lance, conquered a nation governed by immoral group of Scientists called The Corporation. He grew and climbed up to the highest rank possible as a Scientist with his inventions and side businesses. Eventually, he became a weapons inventor, building weapons to two opposing sides. In doing so, Lance always crossed a dilemma. How could a nobody topple the most powerful government? How could one overcome circumstances beyond his grasp, especially in a world filled with monstrous mutations called the Abominants?

A war goddess was reborn and obtained a Mutual Separation agreement.

She only wanted to remove her armor, return to the countryside, and marry an honest man.

Perhaps she would have three children, and they could live quiet lives farming and weaving.

By chance, she joined a refugee group and met a man who was adept in both the pen and the sword.

She ventured with the refugee group since spring until winter.

The man was very protective of her, and she figured it would be nice to marry him. He had strong arms, so he could surely plow large fields.

They could raise their children together and live happy lives.

However, who knew that the man was actually a dragon?!

Oh well, one must be content with the partner they had chosen, so she shall soar with the dragon!

The war goddess donned her armor once more and dominated the battlefield with her man! The emperor’s walls, countless soldiers, and vicious schemes.

She feared nothing as long as she stood beside her husband.

Just like that, they accidentally charged into the palace with their army.

Sigh, she had only wanted to bear three kids and live peacefully.

The man pressed her against the wall and asked in a low voice, “You want kids? I’ll satisfy your needs.”

“Lin Yunfeng! Stop right there!”Lin Yunfeng gazed back at the speeding figure behind him. Heart racing, he picked up speed and ran through the abandoned corridor.“You better stop Yunfeng!!” Ren Muchen growled loudly. The little brat was much faster than he had expected. “This is how you wish to face me after you fucking slept with me? Fine! Run then! Let’s see how long you can last,”Panting Lin Yunfeng looked back in panic. “I’m so sorry, it was a mistake. think of it as Stepping on shit. Please forgive me!” he placed a hand on his lower stomach and ran even faster.“Watch out!”Yunfeng gazed ahead in surprise. a half-rotten corpse stood in his way. He came to a screeching halt but the slippery floor made it hard for him to come to a complete stop.He fell unceremoniously face down on the ground. “Fuck,”The zombie jumped onto him with its mouth wide open. Its bloody saliva dripped onto his face.Yunfeng held his breath. He had read about this before but this was the first time he had actually seen an undead. It petrified him. ‘Is this how I die?’“Growl,” the beast aimed at his neck precisely,Just as he thought his life was coming to an end, a long axe cut through the decayed neck of the Zombie.The heavy zombie fell right on top of him, oozing blood and puss.A hand grabbed him by his collar and lifted him up. “You are not dying, not today, not anytime soon...” Ren Muchen said with a nasty grin/Yunfeng gulped.Muchen peered into his trembling black eyes coldly. “You know why?” because we are having a baby.”Yunfeng’s hand reflectively went into his tummy. “h-how do you know?”“You knew?! Yet you ran!” Muchen laughed coldly and shook him like a rattle. “Take responsibility you bastard, we created a life that day!“y-yes, I’ll take responsibility!”

As the mad researcher in a tattered white coat activated the self-destruction device, Qin Luo knew that this time, there was no escape.

He was well aware of the destructive power of the self-destruction device.
Even if he is genetically inborn with an independent space, it is impossible to use the power of his space to resolve against such a terrible explosion.

His only end would be a torn space and the crushed bones.

On an unrecognizable earth rampant with zombies and mutant creatures, this end is good.

Death is far better than living…

With a skull splitting headache he opened his eyes to find himself reborn in the year before the apocalypse happened.

Is this a chance for him to be prepared to combat the apocalypse?
