After the collapse of the known world, I woke up to find myself on the First Floor of the Tower. I was young and healthy, 18 again, and sitting in the same classroom that marked the worst days of my life. Confused and excited, I accepted this gift, deciding to use my vast knowledge of the future to climb the Tower in preparation for the end of the world.

The clock is ticking, and I'm left with only a century to build a Deck powerful enough to survive the end. Things to do... What's first? I need Essence, and I need power. In this world of blood and fantasy, century-old Rowan Wilder has to not only survive, but thrive as he powers his way to the top of the Tower. Lin Changan was in complete desperation when he received the Emulator System which allowed him to simulate his life.

After each simulation, he could choose to either gain a talent, a realm, battle experience, cultivation, or part of the memory from the simulation.

“You have rejected the Slave Contract and were killed in the Underground City by a love rival.”

“At age 22, your sick junior confessed her love to you and you rejected her. That made her hate you and she poisoned you to death.”

“At age 24, you were killed during the monsters’ attack.”

“You have chosen the realm and have gathered the Star Power.”

“At age 24, you fought the monsters’ attack as a general but still died in the end.”

“At age 24, you fought the monsters in the front line but you have exhausted your spirit energy…”

After countless simulations, even the slightest move Lin Changan made could shake the entire world.

“Simulation begins.”

“You are now invincible.”

Starting from today, I am retired. But what should I be doing? I neither have the skills, nor the mind to do business, my only advantage is this pair of hands which have taken this world. What a headache…
