Mo Rao was born into a family of military doctors. Her parents had risked their lives to save Fu Ying’s grandmother, so the latter forced Fu Ying to take Mo Rao in as his wife. Mo Rao always knew that Fu Ying had a dream girl named Qu Ru. This girl failed to marry Fu Ying as she desired because Fu Ying’s grandmother stopped them. He’d whispered sweet nothings in his ear, saying things like he’d protect him and bs like that. Lin Qingge’s old man blew his top when he found out and promptly disowned him. That didn’t matter to Lin Qingge, he had Liu Yang afterall. He fully believed in that guys words and goodwill.

Ultimately Liu Yang was like a vampire sucking his wealth dry, leaving a husk behind. After pushing Liu Yang to a high position, Lin Qingge finally collapsed in his apartment. It was a sad sorry sight. Closing his eyes, he knew this was the end of him. Who knew he would wake up instead in a different time and a different place?

This lead to many wars which almost lead to the extinction of the human race, but during the climax of the war; ten brave warriors took a stand and resolved the war.

“We welcome this brand new year with the hope to bring a great change, and to continue progressing forward! Happy New Year 3100, Everyone!” The holographic image of a female spokesperson sounded from every tall skyscraper in Emerald City.

As the artificial fireworks sounded, a boy walking down an alley grunted.

“Humph! A happy new year for the people who have power and money, but it's the same situation for us.” Mako voiced his internal dissatisfaction while continuing to head to his destination.

Only Destiny knew what this year had in store for Mako...
