Zataria's Last Light - Chapter 31: Zatarian and Natharain

Anton is a great-grandfather. He is living quite a happy life, despite his advanced age and declining health… until a group of cultivator bandits moves into the area. The nearby guardians of the area, the Order of Ninety-Nine Stars, are unable to track them down as they continue to ravage nearby towns. During one desperate winter Anton is out on a hunt when his family- his entire village- is killed or taken as slaves by the bandits. He lacks the strength to fight them, and he wasn’t even present for their arrival to die with his loved ones. At the pit of his despair, he wonders if he ever had any chance to change things. After the ‘100-Year War’ between the Necromancers and Priests, an all-time genius who’ll shake the power structure was born. “Am I a rare case or something? *Xu Xinyi woke up and had obtained a system, the system told her that she was a female partner with a miserable/desolate end.

In order to prevent this ending, Xu Xinyi driven by the system, worked diligently on what a female partner should do.

Yi Yang couldn’t tolerate it anymore/at the end of one;s patience, and at last mentioned divorce.

Xu Xinyi’s heart felt ecstatic as she put the divorce agreement in front of her husband and with a sorrowful, heartbroken look on her face waited for her husband to sign.

Suddenly Yi Yang who could hear Xu Xinyi’s thoughts threw away the pen and said, “Not leaving.”

Ever since Yi Yang discovered that he could hear Xu Xingyi’s thoughts, he found that his wife kept kissing up to him and saying she loved him but in her heart she would laugh at that.

She loved him on the surface.

“Husband, you are so nice, I love you very/so much ah!”

Its bloody saliva dripped onto his face.Yunfeng held his breath. He had read about this before but this was the first time he had actually seen an undead. It petrified him. ‘Is this how I die?’“Growl,” the beast aimed at his neck precisely,Just as he thought his life was coming to an end, a long axe cut through the decayed neck of the Zombie.The heavy zombie fell right on top of him, oozing blood and puss.A hand grabbed him by his collar and lifted him up. “You are not dying, not today, not anytime soon...” Ren Muchen said with a nasty grin/Yunfeng gulped.Muchen peered into his trembling black eyes coldly. “You know why?” because we are having a baby.”Yunfeng’s hand reflectively went into his tummy. “h-how do you know?”“You knew?! Yet you ran!” Muchen laughed coldly and shook him like a rattle. “Take responsibility you bastard, we created a life that day!“y-yes, I’ll take responsibility!”
