Inside a certain room, Summer Shawcross stood by the window, lost in thought as she watched the man outside turning away while talking on his phone and leaving the courtyard.

She only turned back into the room after the man’s figure disappeared in the distance.

This room was one she had casually walked into; it was laid out like those on the first floor, reflecting Finn Fielding’s taste, with details that exuded a lived-in feel.

It was evident that the lady who used to live here had to be someone with great taste and a passion for life.

Thinking about it, Summer couldn’t help but recall what old Mr. Drexler had mentioned before... Amber.

If the wife he referred to was indeed Noah Drexler’s mother...

Summer suddenly remembered that she had seen Noah Drexler’s mother’s photos from the butler before; she was an elegant and beautiful woman.

Therefore... when Summer met Autumn Duval, she felt Autumn resembled someone.
