Hazel fell asleep in his arms after bawling out her eyes and letting out everything out of her system,not excluding telling Zaiden too about what happened today.
He was too shocked to render any possible solutions to the problem at hand,yes,it was a problem, because she made it clear that she doesn’t want to have anything to do with both mother and father.
Excluding her twin brother of course,she was too excited about finally finding out she had a sibling and felt bad about treating Ethan like some stalker all along when this had been the reason why he has been stalking her for long.
If anyone would have told Zaiden that with just a day away from their wedding,that his soon to be wife would find her biological parents he wouldn’t have believed.
Not only did she find her parents,but she was all along the missing daughter of his dad’s friend,was fate not good?
Although he had come to understand the reason, why Hazel doesn’t want to see her parents or let them near her,he would gladly grant her request.
It’s not in his place to force her to change her mind about them,they committed a huge crime by making his girl be the significant figure in their argument.
He wouldn’t imagine his mother taking him away from the family, only to abandon him without any definite explanation for doing so.
That’s a huge level of wickedness from the mother,that this time he’s going to let her do whatever she wants with her mother.
She deserved the cold shoulder from Hazel.
Placing her back on the bed,and covering her properly,he stroked her cheeks lovely that he can never get enough of seeing her this way.
She always looks so ethereal whenever she’s sleeping,so innocent,cute and all his, definitely,she belongs to him.
He waited for some minutes, to see if she would wake up and go against the idea of him leaving her,so he stood up and left the room when he noticed that she’s already asleep for real.
Walking down the stairs to the sitting room,all eyes were on him. It’s obvious to him that they all know about everything that has happened lately.
Nathan was seated away from where his grandpa was,a cold look on his face while staring holes into Ethan’s head whose oblivion to the fact of what he was doing.
He couldn’t understand why exactly, he would be the one overreacting about all these when the fiance hasn’t done anything, but wait to see what exactly her twin brother and his family are planning.
Whatever it is that’s the reason for him still here,he didn’t give any bloody care about his relationship with Hazel,as long as she had made it known to him that she doesn’t want her father and mother near her.
There’s nothing anyone is going to do or say to change her decision,not including his family because he knows what’s running through his father’s mind at the moment.
His uncle was nowhere to be found, likewise his wife to which he was grateful because he wouldn’t appreciate Sophia, interfering in what has nothing to do with her.
It was annoying enough, that Nathan was present here and is making no attempt at leaving anytime soon;he wants to hear the full details about Hazel’s family.
He looked away from him the moment their eyes collided,he has to stop being too insecure whenever he sees him.
Hazel belongs to him,and she had made it quite clear to both him and Nathan that she’s not going to change or be like Anna.
"Is she asleep?"Avery asked Zaiden,the moment he came into the sitting room where everyone was waiting for him.
She knew Hazel was not coming down anytime soon,and sincerely hopes that she gets over this soon enough,her wedding ceremony is next tomorrow and she had been too excited about it only to get the shocking revelation of her life.
In Zaiden’s absence,her twin brother, Isabella’s son, had made some facts known to them about how he found out that she’s his sister.
God!He was one persistent fellow,after the insults he took from her ,he didn’t give up.
She had suspected him the day she met the both of them outside the hotel room,to which he lied about his intention by saying that he’s her friend.
She’s no fool,she knew her daughter in-law too well to know that she barely has any friends aside from the talkative,Sunny.
But that’s not the problem anymore, because the truth has finally come to light about her friend’s son.
It hurt her to the marrow about what Isabella did to Hazel,she won’t deny the fact that what she did was wrong all because she’s her closest friend.
But she questioned their friendship the moment she put to birth and had left the city with the other twin without letting her know about it.
Yeah,she knew quite well that she was having some issues with Antonio’s sister who didn’t fancy her enough,or to be worthy enough to be called Antonio’s wife.
But the main reason why she left has been disclosed from her, Ezekeil was not planning on letting her know either.
"Yes mom"He said,looking away from her,as she walked up to him to pat his back lovingly.
"She’s going to be alright okay?"She cooed,as she nodded his head at her statement and put up a smile on his face to camouflage his wrecked and messed up state.
Upon Hazel’s appearance into his life,he’s been acting like some pregnant lady who doesn’t get hold of their emotions.
He’s being too emotional all because of her,and he doesn’t mind at all,this is Hazel that is being talked about,His angel.
"Let me get you some tea to calm your nerves’ ’His mother offered and left him to sit down beside his grandpa. 𝕗𝗿𝕖𝐞𝐰𝗲𝕓𝐧𝕠𝕧𝗲𝐥.𝚌𝐨𝚖
"I didn’t imagine you will still be here by now"He threw the bomb at Ethan,who looked at him and then to his dad,who rolled his eyes at his son’s rudeness.
Can he for once stop being so rude?
This is his brother in law, and yet,he can’t see past the fact that he’s another male who’s going to take his girl’s attention from him.
"He’s staying here for the night "Ezekiel spoke up for Ethan,who chose to not talk to Zaiden,he’s far more worried about Hazel.
Recalling back to their conversation in the car,she had given him the silent treatment after seeing the test results which left him hanging only to get the worst thought as to why she was behaving in that manner.
But he should have seen that coming, because he had already lost hope of her accepting him,before he was pulled in for a tight embrace after two minute of painful silence.
She cried and apologized to him for being such a bad sister,and making him feel bad all these while before she fell asleep in his arms,the result of whatever it is that she took back there at the club.
He didn’t understand what exactly was going on between her and Zaiden,that would require her going to the club alone,at that ungodly hour with her marriage fast approaching.
He is not in any position to question her relationship with Zaiden,it was quite too early to do that,he’s not even sure if she’s not going to turn on him once she wakes up tomorrow morning.
Yet,the brotherly instincts to protect his sister from making any mistake in her marriage with Zaiden was there.
It’s been ages he’s gotten to speak to Zaiden,besides he’s never really been that close to him in highschool.
It has always been him and Nathan, though they weren’t best friend’s either.
"Already prepared for the brotherly roles huh?’’Zaiden teased,looking away from his dad towards Ethan whose faces were clearly not liking the way, he was attacking him as if he’s done anything wrong to Hazel.
"He needs to make sure his sister is in the right hands"
That’s where Nathan comes in, because his statement right now did not only annoy Zaidem,it made something clear to Ethan that there was a lot more going on between them about his sister.
"What did you just say?’’Zaiden asked,standing up and ready to bounce in him for questioning his love for Hazel.
He got it.
He knows why he’s been so good lately,was he trying to make him look bad in front of his brother-in-law?
"That’s enough you two!"Grandpa shouted, before turning to Nathan."Where’s your dad?"
"I don’t know father"He replied,a smug look plastered proudly on his face when beneath all that ,he didn’t know what exactly to feel at the moment over this new information about Hazel.
She’s the Sinclair’s fucking sister,yet,that is not going to stop him from his plan with her.
Hazel would be his,come rain,come sunshine in the next two days.
