There was a whole lot more about Hazlet that made him get scared,at the thought that something was wrong with her.

Not that he didn’t know that there was a lot going on with her, she’s physically and emotionally stressed out

But he didn’t see that as something that would have her sweating every night they were sleeping and also her body temperature changes too at a fast rate.

She doesn’t know that he knows about the changes in her body,which he wondered if that was as a result of the change in the environment.

There’s a fifty percent possibility that it has to do with her environment,did he forget to mention that this was the first time she’s travelled outside the company?

Although this wasn’t the way he intended on making her stay here in Paris with him,he has a whole lot of surprises planned after their wedding and their wedding night.

But just like the saying goes,’Life doesn’t work out the way one plans it to be’,not that he was regretting being with her right now, of course he’s not annoyed.

But the suspicion, that it was about something else which was beyond the realization, of finding who her parents and her brother is doesn’t really match up the reason why she’s that way.

Hazel was keeping something from him,and he knew that she was hiding something with the way she’s acting.

These past three days they have spent together, gave him enough rights to suspect hay she wasn’t really okay.

For the fact that she wasn’t really excited anymore, and much more happy over the fact that she’s in Paris made him worried.

The past two days had been stressful for him,due to the fact that he did everything possible to divert her mind from the issue at home.

Hazel was soft hearted,and he knew that she gets bothered over silly things that don’t really matter.

But right now,this was about her and there’s more to worry over the fact that everything was happening at a fast rate,at the least time she expected.

To Hazel,they ruined her chance at happiness,that had been the anger towards her parents, because he knew she had dreamt and waited for their wedding day to come.

It also came to the fact that he blames himself somehow for delaying their wedding,if he wasn’t so stubborn and didn’t have issues wasting time with Anna and furthermore,maybe right now they would have been happily married.

He was the one who wasted time,while she had anticipated and waited eagerly for her day to come, only to get her mood ruined in a day to her big day by them.

So,he’s guilty and was trying as much as possible to make it up to her in their stay here.

He doesn’t know when exactly the matter with her parents would be sorted out,but one thing is clear that it won’t be long before it’s exposed to the world that she’s their daughter.

With the look on her mother’s face that day,he doesn’t understand the fact that she would think of abandoning her child.

She looked so hurt,for someone so heartless that did that to their child.

Her innocent face was just the way Hazel’s face is too,by pretending she’s fine whenever he demands from her if she’s okay.

She looks at his face to lie to him,she lies that she’s fine when it’s obvious that she isn’t feeling okay, with her contact loss of appetite and the fast rate she’s losing weight.

Yet,she still stands firm in her decision that she’s okay and not going to any hospital.

He didn’t quite imagine her as someone who would be scared of going to the hospital.Although he couldn’t judge,he too was also scared of going there too.The smell of drugs is irritating.

So he understood where she’s coming from, and right now he had gone along to search for a good hospital and doctor who would come over by tomorrow, to check on her to know what’s wrong with her.

Looking at his time, he realized that he’s five minutes late,they had decided to go on a date tonight and he had prepared everything to make the night a memorable one for her.

Parking his car into the driveway of the hotel they lodged,he took up the bouquet of red roses by his side and smiled to himself when he inhaled tlits scent.

Ofcourse, flowers have a special scent they carry,that’s a gift from nature but his favourite scent was that of his baby girl,Hazel.

She smells like Heaven,he doesn’t know how it’s possible lavender smells too good on her that sometimes,he wonders how thrilling it will be if she smells like him.

Of course,he wouldn’t love her to carry his scent all round,it would give him immense pleasure to know that she belongs to him and no one else.

With her,he’s a complete man and in heaven,so why exactly would he not have that doubt that she’s keeping something from him?

When he’s made her his everything.

He couldn’t help it,he’s never for once kept anything away from her and that was solely the reason why he gets hurt at the thought of her hiding something from him.

He’s not insecure over the fact that maybe she’s thinking of leaving him,she can’t do that.She had made it known to him on several bases that she’s not leaving him.

So why feel this way?

Luke would be really angry at him for feeling this way, because he knows that there is no girl out there that would be so perfect for him other than Hazel.

She was just made for him.

Him alone, Zaiden Knight’s.

He doesn’t care whatever it is she’s keeping away from him,but he knew with time she would let him in on what’s going on in her head.

Right wasn’t the right time to get worried about this,no.He can’t let this ruin his night without his angel,not at all.

He turned to step out of the car , but his phone rang right at that moment,God! He’s so late and Hazel is going to be really mad.

He intended on cutting the call,and offing his phone from who was calling had it being it wasn’t Avery Knights who was calling,his mother.

"Mom?"He picked it without hesitation,she had been put on edge for the past three days. He knew she wouldn’t have believed his father’s words that they are okay,if she doesn’t see for herself.

"It took you three days to pick up my calls Zaiden Knight’s,three good days of torturing while keeping me away from hearing from you and my babygirl"She cried.

"How’s she?"She ignored him.

Ofcourse,she would ignore him and ask of Hazel,that’s to show how everyone had forgotten about him and it’s only worried about his girl.

He wasn’t complaining though,but he too was also going through a lot like her too,it wasn’t easy watching her battling to sleep at night,and also keeping up with her constant mood change as if she’s pregnant.

"Zaiden!"Avery yelled.

And of course,he had forgotten that he’s on the phone with his mother,and was lost in thought with the image of Hazel pregnant tummy occupying his whole brain.

What has she done to her?

There’s not been any further intimacy between the both of them,not that he wasn’t seeing that being done any time soon, because tonight was definitely going to have a lot of surprises.

"What exactly is wrong with you? and why are you not telling me what i what to hear?Is there something going on that i don’t know of?"

She bombarded him with a lot of questions while there was a deadpan expression on his face, at the thought of something bad happening to her here.

"Of course not mother,she’s fine"

"I want to speak to her,"Avery insisted.

"She’s not close at the mom..."

"What do you mean by that?Where exactly did you leave that poor hurting girl that needs your attention more at this time to?"

Give it up for his mother to preach to him on the need of taking care of his wife, of course he knows what to do when he’s with Hazel.

"It’s not that mom,we had a date and I’m kinda fifteen minutes late because I’m on the call when i should be ..."

"Oh! My bad"She apologized,her ears turning red when she remembered what he just said and the possible outcome.

"Make sure to knock her out for good this time son,the Knights are craving for a new heir"

"Mom, seriously? Of course i know what to do...oh my ...why am i even having this discussion with you?"

"Stop taking,and get those flowers to her ,you’ve already got her mad with being late"

"Of course mother,have a nice day "

"And son,don’t forget to keep her happy always,I don’t really know what’s up with her parents but they will have to go through me first before taking ownership of her ’’Avery replied, watching as the old man had his favorite clothes on passed through her room.

Something was about to happen, and she knew the outcome wouldn’t be thrilling because her husband dashed into their room, with a serious look on his face.

"Thanks mother,I will do just that,I will call you soon.take care"He said lastly,and cut the call.

He looked into the mirror and fixed his tie,before climbing down from the car towards his angel who was waiting for him right inside their hotel room.

He just couldn’t wait for tonight to get started.

Hazel wouldn’t regret meeting him,that’s a promise he made to himself and he intends on fulfilling that to the end.
