Chapter 317: Picking Up Photos

Professor Shen’s experiment didn’t last long; Xu Mumu stayed busy for a few days, and then it was finished.

"Mumu, I can’t go back with you right now." As they were about to leave, Yin Yang looked at Xu Mumu.

"Did something happen?" Xu Mumu looked at Yin Yang, knowing about the affairs of the Yin Family. She couldn’t just let it go and was worried that Yin Yang might be in trouble.

"Nothing major, just a few issues over in Lan City." Yin Yang shook his head, not wanting Xu Mumu to worry.

"Is there any danger?" Xu Mumu pursed her lips.

"Relax, I’m bringing quite a few people with me." Yin Yang said with a smile.

"Okay, I’ll head back by myself then." Xu Mumu nodded.

With the situation in the Yin Family, there’s only him, so he can’t ignore the family’s matters, and she isn’t in a position to stop him.

"Don’t worry, I’m not as weak as you think. Last time was just an accident." Yin Yang said gently; Yin Xu was being unruly, so this time he’s going to put him down for good.

Not to mention the fool supporting Yin Xu; he’ll deal with him too.

"If something happens to you, I’m not speaking to you anymore, hmph." Xu Mumu turned her face away.

"I promise nothing will happen, okay?" Yin Yang said smiling.

The final exams happened quickly; Xu Mumu walked out of the classroom and saw Yin Yang already waiting in the distance, a smile on her face.

"Did you hand in the exam early?" Xu Mumu asked with a smile.

"Yeah, it was pretty simple. If it weren’t for the exam, I wouldn’t even want to write the answers." Yin Yang looked at Xu Mumu gently, knowing he’d be leaving in a couple of days and wouldn’t see her for at least half a month.

"Aren’t you worried your classmates will beat you up if you say that?" Xu Mumu’s lips twitched; this guy was really asking for it.

"You’re here, would you just watch while I get beat?" Yin Yang smirked.

"Absolutely, I bet Sir Song would love to see that." Xu Mumu smiled cheekily.

"Heartless, let’s go, we’re getting the photos." Yin Yang said with a laugh; they had a lot of photos developed and both had been too busy to pick them up. Now they finally had the time to do it.

"I nearly forgot; my parents will definitely love them!" Xu Mumu paused. The busy time made her a little lost and she’d forgotten about this. Luckily, Yin Yang remembered.

"Yes, they’ll surely like them." Yin Yang nodded with a smile, having gotten to know the future in-laws quite well over the past year.

Getting the photos cost quite a bit; developing them wasn’t cheap, mainly because they took so many photos, naturally increasing the development costs.

"So pricey, it’s like robbery to develop photos." Xu Mumu said feeling the pinch while holding a large package of photos, even though Yin Yang paid for them, she still felt the pain.

"No worries, we’ll open our own photo studio in the future, develop them any way we like. How about it?" Yin Yang said with a smile, though Xu Mumu hadn’t had much income recently, mainly because Huo Qingze hadn’t recouped the costs yet.

But it won’t be long now. Ever since college entrance exams finished, tutoring classes saw increasing numbers, and Huo Qingze organized a fairly widespread business, with both middle and high school covered, drawing quite a crowd.

The tutors were mostly university students, along with some school teachers working part-time, making the service not inferior to schools, and the teaching quality was rather good. Those who attended tutoring improved their grades to some extent, naturally building a reputation.

Small tutorial classes around here have largely been merged into Huo Qingze’s, though a few like Shen Ya’s are still struggling to hold up.

For Shen Ya, the tutoring class is her main source of income, so she naturally won’t just let it fail; she used quite a few tricks but still faced a decline with dorm-mates gradually quitting, leaving just a few persisting.

"Mumu, I’m taking you somewhere." Xu Mumu was ready to take the photos back when Yin Yang pulled her along to head elsewhere.

"Where to?" Xu Mumu asked curiously.

"The Prince Mansion; I’ve had it redone. I’ll take you to see if you like it." Yin Yang said gently.

"Really? I’ve been here so long yet haven’t been there!" Xu Mumu’s eyes brightened instantly.

"I’ve had the place refurbished; many things there were quite old, so I’ve replaced them with new items." Yin Yang squeezed Xu Mumu’s hand.

"Let’s go then." Xu Mumu said excitedly, eager to go.

They arrived at the courtyard, and seeing the large yard, Xu Mumu was stunned; she had never seen such a big yard on TV. It’s not only large but beautifully organized inside.

The yard has plenty of flowers and plants, with a pond in the back garden where a patch of lotus is planted. Right now, the lotus is in bloom, filling the air with a faint fragrance that Xu Mumu finds exceedingly pleasant.

Xu Mumu sighed with admiration, it truly fits the Prince Mansion. It’s very big inside and has many rooms, capable of housing a lot of people.

Guided by Yin Yang, she was brought to a room prepared for her, where everything was arranged to suit her preferences.

Xu Mumu felt quite touched; she hadn’t expected Yin Yang to remember her tastes so well. Compared to him, she felt she wasn’t doing enough as a girlfriend.

"Do you like it here? If there’s anything amiss, let me know, and I’ll have Yun Hong fix it." Yin Yang said gently. Though Xu Mumu planned to move back to the provincial city after graduation, he still prepared a permanent residence in Imperial City, as visits there would certainly happen.

Having a fitting residence here would be comfortable too.

"I love it, absolutely love it." Xu Mumu nodded seriously.

"As long as you love it." Yin Yang said with a smile, feeling relieved.

They toured the place for quite a while, going around the entire house. Xu Mumu fell in love with it and would have moved in immediately if it wasn’t so far from the school.

In the end, they left reluctantly, planning to return home in a couple of days; moving here now didn’t make sense, so they’d wait until after coming back from her hometown to stay here for a few days.

Back at the small courtyard, Xu Mumu took out all the photos; Yin Yang had taken quite a lot, and his photography skills were excellent, producing beautiful shots with every picture.

Every photo was stunning; Xu Mumu chose some to leave here and took the rest back home.
