Archer landed a powerful punch against the troll’s head causing it to explode into meat chunks that sprayed the surrounding desert but that wasn’t the end as he continued attacking the trolls until they were all dead, which amazed Llyniel and Halime.

’Those things were weak and not worth capturing,’ he thought while brushing himself off.

Moments later, he flew back to the young women who were waiting for him with big smiles as he landed. ’’Sorry about that, girls. Let me check on the Sand Mammoths before we take a break, I have some food I want you two to try.’’

Following that, Archer returned to his new monster herd that was bunched scared as they thought more trolls were lurking around. This caused him to smile before stepping forward and reassuring them.

’’Don’t worry now, they’re all dead and you can check out your new home,’’ he said in an honest tone which put the Sand Mammoths at ease. Find adventures on novelbuddy

After speaking, Archer waved his hand and opened a violet portal that led to a dense forest which caught the leader’s eyes. Her surprised voice rang in his mind. ’What is that place? It’s so wild and I can feel the energy radiating from it.’

’’It’s my realm,’’ he replied with a knowing smile. ’’Now go and make yourself at home but be careful because there are more monsters in there that will try to attack and I can’t stop that as it’s just like the real world.’’

The Sand Mammoth leader nodded before letting out a resounding bellow which caused the rest of the herd to start entering the portal. Once the last monster vanished he turned to the two girls who were chatting.

’They look happy at least,’ he thought with a smile. ’It would be a pain the harem was upset with me over, something but everyone is chill.’

Archer stepped forward while using Mana Manipulation to create a sturdy table and chair just above the sand. The smooth surface shimmered with a faint violet glow, ensuring a stable spot for their meal.

The snake woman’s eyes lit up with delight as she sat down and got comfortable, a relieved smile spreading across her face. ’’I was worried about sand getting into the food you spoke of but this is perfect,’’ she admitted, her tone laced with gratitude.

Following that, Archer pulled out two pizzas he cooked back at the house, this caught the ladies off guard as he placed them on the table, ’’Here we go. Try some and tell me what you think.’’

They nodded in agreement before grabbing a slice each and Halime was the first to try some. When she took a bite, her yellow eyes widened in shock while swallowing the mouthful with a big smile.

’’So delicious!’’ the snake woman exclaimed. ’’Who made such a meal? We need to hire them for the palace’s kitchen to get food like this every day.’’

Archer burst into laughter at her words, which made him happy. This sudden outburst caught both Hali and the other companion off guard. They exchanged confused glances until he finally calmed down, a warm smile still on his face.

’’I was the one who created it, Hali,’’ he explained, amusement lacing his voice. ’’I’m glad you like it because I will be cooking a lot more for you girls. It makes me happy seeing you enjoy my food.’’

’’Oh wow, that’s amazing,’’ Llyniel said with a big smile. ’’Now it’s my turn to taste this masterpiece.’’

He watched as the wood elf took a bite, her eyes widening with the same delighted reaction causing Halime to compliment him with a voice full of love, ’’Your cooking is amazing handsome and to be honest, it’s attractive that you can cook. I know my mothers would love someone like you.’’

Archer chuckled when hearing this before warning her, ’’I’m not taking them, Hali, I don’t plan on expanding the harem unless I like the woman.’’

She nodded with a bright smile before revealing, ’’I know husband, I’ve already warned them not to try anything if they were to bump into you, and father also gets jealous, which makes me laugh every time.’’

Her words made him laugh before he finally dug into his meal. As they ate, conversation flowed as the two beauties told him about all the experiments they’re doing with the other women, which made him happy that they were getting along.

Once they were done talking, Archer shared his stories between bites, enjoying the warmth of their company under the open sky. He explained all about the war, the loss of the four legions, and their conquest of the western part of the Duskfire Empire.

When the duo heard this, their eyes widened in shock before Halime turned to him with a concerned expression. ’’Have you recovered the soldier’s bodies?’’ she asked.

’’Not yet,’’ he revealed with a sigh. ’’We’re gonna finish taking the remaining castles before searching for our dead. It will be much easier once the enemy attacks stop and we control this part of the Duskfire Empire.’’

They nodded in understanding, but he could still see the concerned look in the snake woman’s beautiful yellow eye. He quickly reassured that he would get all the bodies and give them a proper burial on Draconia.

As the trio exchanged satisfied smiles, the mood settled into a comfortable silence, and they resumed eating. Archer, however, had other thoughts stirring in his mind. He needed a place where they could rest and prepare before the upcoming battle.

An idea quickly took root, and he summoned a Tressym and it appeared beside him. He gently stroked its soft fur, his voice calm and focused. ’’Can you find a secluded oasis for me, please?’’

’’Meow~~,’’ the creature replied before zooming off into the distance.

Llyniel and Halime were staring at him with wide eyes. He gave the women a charming smile which brought them back to reality before the snake woman asked with a giggle, ’’Did it just reply to you, husband?’’

Archer chuckled while nodding, ’’Yes. I’ve been with them for years, remember? They love and adore me but enjoy being my scouts as they are extremely smart creatures,’’ he explained.

’’Can you show us their home please?’’ Llyniel suddenly asked.

’’Of course,’’ he answered, which made the wood elf happy. ’’Once we find a place to relax, I’ll take you both there.’’

Following that, the trio finished off the pizzas just as Halime looked at them with a smile as she offered, ’’You guys can ride me if you like? I know we’re hunting for monsters to capture for the army.’’

Everyone agreed and the snake girl morphed into her Black Mamba form, causing a shockwave to wash out across the desert. Debris and sand flew everywhere, which forced them to cover their mouths.

Shortly after that, Archer scooped a coughing Llyniel up before leaping onto her back before getting comfortable. He quickly cast a Mana Barrier around them to block out the sand cloud that would appear.

Minutes later, Halime shot across the desert. As they traveled for a while, he paid little attention to the weaker monsters until his keen eyes locked onto a massive pack of Giant Hyenas.

A grin spread across his face as he pointed toward them. ’’Head straight for them, Hali,’’ he commanded, excitement brimming in his voice.

’These will make excellent additions to the army,’ Archer mused, anticipation thrumming through him.

Without hesitation, Halime veered toward the beasts, her skin shifting and adapting until she seamlessly blended into the sand, becoming one with the desert itself. This confused them causing him to question her using the tattoo.

’How long have you been able to do that?’ he asked.

Her sweet giggle echoed through the air before she called out in a cheerful tone, the sound of her crashing through a dune following her words. ’’Ari and Brooke helped me learn it a few weeks ago, but I haven’t had a chance to use it yet!’’

Archer was impressed but turned back to the Giant Hyena pack that looked at them before fleeing deeper into the desert. He quickly cast Mana Manipulation to trap the monsters inside which worked.

While doing that, Llyniel chirped in beside him as she glanced at him with a hopeful expression, ’’I can pin them down if you need help my love.’’

’’Do it,’’ he replied before jumping off Halime’s back.

Archer landed with a heavy thud, sending a shockwave through the sand. The Giant Hyenas snapped their glowing yellow eyes toward him, their growls rumbling like a warning drumbeat.

The nearest beast snarled before lunging at him, but before it could reach, thick vines erupted from the sand, twisting around the monsters with relentless force. The pack thrashed and howled, but Llyniel’s magic held them firmly, pinning them to the ground.
