Chapter 197: Playing with Fire ( 197 )

Kyouko gently reached toward the nightstand, lifting something between her fingers.

The empty silver packet.

She held it up to Haruki’s face, smiling.

"Next time... don’t do it secretly," she said, her tone light, almost amused.

"Like this one, right?"

Haruki’s eyes widened.

Kyouko tilted her head slightly, her smile growing.

"No excuse~" she whispered, trailing the empty packet across his bare chest.

"You even used one for yourself... how naughty."

She leaned in closer, voice like silk.

"You wanted to knock me up quietly, is that it?"

Haruki swallowed.

Hard.

She looked at him—beautiful, flushed, radiant, even after all they’d done.

Serene... but dangerous.

"You really want me to get pregnant with your child, hmm~?"

She let the packet fall beside them on the bed, then gently brushed her fingers along his cheek.

"Now I wonder..." she whispered.

"What should I tell your father-in-law and your dear wife when they find out I’m pregnant?"

Haruki opened his mouth.

But nothing came out.

Kyouko giggled softly.

"Should I tell them the baby looks just like you?"

"Or maybe say... it happened during our hospital visit?"

She leaned forward, kissing him sweetly on the lips—then pulled back just an inch.

"You better think fast, Haruki~" she purred.

"Because if this baby grows in me... I won’t hide it."

Kyouko smiled, then leaned up slowly and kissed him.

Soft.

Loving.

But with quiet control.

When their lips parted, she whispered:

"Don’t worry about something that hasn’t happened yet."

Her fingers brushed his cheek again.

Haruki’s voice was low, but steady.

"I’ll take responsibility."

Kyouko looked at him for a moment.

Then she nodded slowly.

"I know you will."

"I’m sure you will."

She trailed her hand down his chest, resting it over his heart.

Her eyes didn’t look away.

"And I guarantee you will."

"But you didn’t think of one problem, Haruki."

He tensed slightly.

She smiled... but this time, there was something deeper in it.

Something bittersweet.

"Your wife."

She said it quietly.

The word lingered in the space between them.

"She’s still my daughter."

Her voice stayed calm.

Not accusing. Not regretful.

Just... truth.

"And I’m still married."

Haruki didn’t say anything for a moment.

The silence stretched.

"I don’t care if Satoshi divorces me," Kyouko said softly.

A calm, peaceful smile on her lips.

"I’ll gladly accept it... happily."

She paused, brushing a lock of hair behind her ear.

"Because I love you, Haruki."

"I know I’m old."

"Even if... my appearance, my skin, my body... is still young and smooth."

She gave a small, breathy laugh.

"Even if you say I’m beautiful... I know what I am."

Her voice softened, but her expression was clear.

She leaned in, forehead gently pressing against his.

"And if this body... can still give you something—

A child. A future. A life you want—

Then I’ll give it."

Her voice trembled only slightly.

"Because you’re the only one who ever made me feel like a woman."

Kyouko smiled, looking up at Haruki who was still above her—their bodies still connected, skin touching, hearts slowly calming.

She reached up, brushing his cheek with the back of her fingers.

"Now don’t pout like that~" she whispered, her voice soft, teasing.

"We’re still together."

She leaned up just slightly, her lips brushing his in a gentle kiss.

Then she smiled again, serene and warm.

"We’ll think about it when I really get pregnant."

Haruki opened his mouth, but she pressed a finger softly to his lips.

"You know... a woman my age doesn’t get pregnant easily."

Her tone was light, but there was a quiet hope hidden beneath it.

"Even if my skin’s smooth, my body looks young... I’m still over forty."

"So don’t panic just yet, okay?"

She let her hand rest on his cheek again.

"But if I do get pregnant..."

She didn’t finish the sentence.

Just smiled again.

Soft. Devoted. Sure.

Haruki stared at her for a moment, then leaned down and kissed her—slowly, fully, like the only answer he had was love.

Haruki was hard again.

Still inside her.

Kyouko felt it.

She smiled—a soft, knowing smile—and looked up at him with half-lidded eyes.

"Naughty boy~" she whispered, trailing her fingers down his spine.

"You didn’t want to stop?"

Haruki opened his mouth to respond, but then—

A car horn sounded from outside the gate.

A sharp reminder.

They both froze for a second.

The moment had returned to the edge of reality.

They were back.

Kyouko tilted her head slightly, her eyes still locked on his.

"Hmm? Don’t pull out yet..." she whispered, wrapping her legs around his hips again.

"Finish what you started."

Haruki’s breath caught.

"Okay~" he whispered back, smiling faintly, surrendering to her warmth.

The tension, the urgency, the thrill of being so close to getting caught.

Only made it better.

The sound of the front door opening broke the quiet.

Satoshi stepped inside first, his face mildly irritated, trying to look composed—but still trying to assert control.

"Why did you open the gate late?" he asked, voice slightly raised... but not too much.

Not with Haruki somewhere upstairs.

Not with his son-in-law in the house.

Kyouko glanced at him, her eyes calm, lips barely curved.

Then she smiled.

"I was sleeping."

Her voice smooth, level.

She took a step closer, arms folded loosely over her chest.

"What do you think I was doing?"

She paused.

"Having sex with Satomi’s husband?"

Her words cut through the air like a blade, but her tone never cracked.

Satoshi blinked, caught off guard.

He tried to scoff.

"Crazy girl..." he muttered, shaking his head and walking past her.

Satomi followed behind, frowning.

"Mom... what’s wrong with you lately?"

They both walked deeper into the house.

Kyouko stood still in the hallway for a moment, smiling quietly to herself.

Thirty minutes.

They had waited thirty whole minutes outside that gate in the night.

And during that time?

She was under Haruki.

Moaning.

Climaxing.

Claiming what was hers.

She turned and began walking gracefully toward the kitchen, her steps slow, legs still faintly trembling.

She could feel it now, Haruki’s thick release starting to leak out, soaking into her panties as she walked.

And yet...

She never looked more composed.

"You two already ate outside, right?" she said in a relaxed voice.

"Because if you’re hungry, there’s instant noodles. I’m a bit tired today."

Satoshi furrowed his brow.

"Why tired?"

Kyouko gave him a casual smile, her tone still light—too light.

"I was meeting my affair outside the house."

She said it like a joke. Like it was harmless.

Like it didn’t mean anything.

A soft laugh escaped her lips as she turned away to fill a glass of water.

"Can you stop making jokes like that?" Satoshi snapped, his voice tight.

"It’s not even funny."

Satomi stepped forward, arms crossed.

"Yeah, Mom... what’s wrong with you lately?" she muttered.

"Affair, affair. You sound stupid."

Kyouko turned back to face them both.

Her smile remained—but her eyes were colder now.

Calm.

Clear.

"You asked why I was tired," she said quietly.

"I answered."

Neither Satoshi nor Satomi replied.

The silence hung awkwardly in the air.

Then, gently, Kyouko walked past them, her footsteps soft on the floor.

Graceful. Elegant.

She was done pretending.
