A Mate For The Last Lycan-Chapter 256: THE COMPLETION OF THE BEAUTY BLOOD (5)
Chapter 256: THE COMPLETION OF THE BEAUTY BLOOD (5)
Khaos was the last of his kind and after all the betrayal from his people and how he lost Zuri now, he would be alone.
He could trust no one.
Their intention was sound, but the way they disobeyed his order was enough to say they were traitors. They disregarded his word and went on with their little mission, thinking they knew better.
It would be his biggest mistake if he had to keep them. One day, they would do it again, once Khaos’s vision was not align with them.
They needed to be gotten rid of.
"Fuck you, Khaos! Fuck you!" Lorent screamed when the pain racked his body. "You are not going to get her back! Live your life with that pain for the rest of your eternity!"
Khaos let the power within him to be sucked by Lorent. He came closer toward him and not only did he touch him, which meant the great power within him, was channeled directly to Lorent, he let out the power that had gathered inside of him like a torrent of water, like a broken dam.
And within a few seconds, Lorent’s skin had burned. His eyes had bulged very big, they outgrew their sockets and then burst under the pressure.
Khaos didn’t even flinch when he watched how Lorent screamed, he thrashed his body, but Khaos’s shadow pinned him in his place. Blood spluttered on the lycan’s face, but he didn’t even blink at all.
"Arrghhh!" Lorent screamed and blood oozed out from his ears, nose and in the end, he was choked in his own blood.
Lorent died miserably.
He made a huge mistake by approaching Zuri and got his mate taken, but all he wanted was only to get his mate back.
In the past, when he learned what Terrence family had done to Giana, he used all the power he had to get her back and shield her from any harm, but the damage had been done and Giana would never recover.
Even so, Lorent stayed by her side. Not even once he was thinking to leave her.
And now, despite the evil thing that he had done to Zuri, his heart was still true. He only wanted his mate. He only wanted his Giana...
The moment Lorent’s heart stopped beating and he died in such horrendous way, as the shadow consumed him and was not even a bone was left behind, Gianna, who was miles away from Three Deadly Ways, could feel the pain of the severed mate bond.
"No... no... no..." She whimpered, shaking her head and when the agony came like a broken dam, she started crying, yelling, punching anything that she could get her hand on. "NO!"
She banged her head against the carriage walls, which made the warriors that guarded the carriage stopped walking and check on her.
"What’s wrong with her?!" One of the warriors looked dumbfounded. They didn’t expect to see her having a mental broke down like this.
She was usually very calm and used to talked to herself, but to see her was capable of doing something violent, shocked them.
"She is crazily strong! Get some rope to tie her up!" One of the warriors yelled at the other.
Giana couldn’t shift and to take precaution, they put silver bracelet on her.
"No...! Don’t! Not him! Give him back to me... please, I want him... Lorent! Lorent!" Giana cried, she tried to hit the warrior that held her down, she wanted to go out of the carriage and ran toward her mate.
In the end, they had to bind their wrists and ankles together or else Giana would hurt herself. By the look of it, they were pretty sure this woman would have killed herself if they didn’t stop her in time.
She cried and begged them to call for Lorent. She wanted her mate. She wanted to see him again.
"No... take me back to Lorent! Lorent!"
"Let me see him! No! Don’t kill him! Don’t do that to him!"
"Please, please... I will be good. I will be good. I will take the curse again, please, don’t hurt him... no..."
Giana hated it when they inflicted the curse on her. Her family was awful and it was only Lorent, who would shield her from the pain.
She only had him.
If she didn’t have him, she had no one.
In a way, Khaos was very cruel to separate them for his own benefit, but in the end, the Lycan had never said that he was a good person at all. fгee𝑤ebɳoveɭ.cøm
Khaos was always had this dark side in him, and right now, having to see his mate was ripped away from him was the reason that put his dark side came to the surface.
Zuri was dead. She was as good as dead now.
This was even worse than the severed mate bond. Khaos would welcome the agony of it, but what he felt right now was hopelessness. He was helpless and didn’t know what to do to fill the void in his heart.
Even the most powerful gift that he got from the completion of the beauty blood couldn’t fill the void.
Khaos could kill anyone that close to him, he could let his shadow consumed them, since the shadow was no longer a thing, but it looked more like a creature from the darkness, which would plunge you to the abyss.
He could wipe the entire kingdom if he wanted to and dye every river in this realm with their blood, yet it still wouldn’t be enough to fill the void.
His beast was incense and the pain from the power couldn’t even stop it to feel the hollowness that Zuri left behind.
Khaos his beast to go feral. He let out the dark side within him, the cruelty that he had been controlling.
If Zuri was crazy because people saw her in her crazy state, where she couldn’t control the demon in her head, then people should have known that Khaos was also the same.
He was as crazy just like her, but the only difference was Khaos managed to control his cruel side, which only made him even more powerful. He was a bloodthirsty person. He needed to be in complete control to get the reign of his bloodlust.
But right now, Khaos didn’t even have any slightest desire to control it. He let his beasts to take over. And in the end, he ended up with a trail of blood as he killed anyone, whether it’s a foe or a friend.
Obviously, the ten dark magic users had been killed without any trace, consumed by the darkness that he commanded.
This was the ultimate power of the lycan. That was why it was so hard to achieve and the sacrifice of it was not small either.

When the morning came, the sky was cleared and the storm night was over. You knew that the lycan had gotten all the power that he needed.
It was over now.
This would be a new era, where the lycan dynasty, once again, stood tall and all the revenge would be avenged.
Bryden stared at the clear sky, he sighed in relief. He just wrote a letter to Ezra, asking him if he saw the same thing like him and his opinion about it.
He saw how the other two treasures of the lycan shone brightly last night and knew that the beauty blood had been completed. Bryden asked whether Ezra knew about it or not.
This moment, the beta felt this sense of relief to know they had done the right thing. Declan had fulfilled his promise to them, which was the completion of the beauty blood.
"You betrayed him again," Rose said.
Bryden was too deep in his thought when he heard Rose’s voice and immediately turned around to face her. She looked beautiful in her purple dress, the color of this kingdom.
"Be careful with what you said," Bryden growled at her. "I could have you removed from your position as the queen in this kingdom."
"What?" Rose chuckled. "What kind of power that you have? You have no real power aside from being the lycan’s lap dog and now you betrayed him by having a collaboration with Declan," Rose scoffed. "People from Terrence family is trouble."
"Said someone, who planned to use their magic users to help Dacre in the war against Khaos."
Rose rolled her eyes dramatically. "We were in war and I was in the opposite side, I will do everything to help and survive, but it only showed my loyalty."
"But, in the end, you betrayed Dacre."
"I did. But, at the very least, I did it because I wanted to survive, not because I thought I was better than Dacre." Rose tilted her head. She stared at Bryden mockingly. "You thought you are better than the lycan. That’s why, you made your own decision, disregarded him. I wonder what he will do once he got his hand on you."
Bryden’s eyes hardened. "He will understand.’
He didn’t want to continue with this conversation and walked away. Bryden was here to act as their advisor, the same thing that Ezra did in Wolfdale kingdom.
It was the idea of Khaos to plant his people close to the sovereign, so he could monitor them.
"I don’t think that’s a good thing to do to provoke the advisor," Logan said, as he walked toward Rose. He stared at the mark on her neck.
He just marked her a few days ago, after a few months of their ceremony.
