Chapter 96: NURTURING BEAUTY BLOOD

Khaos didn't answer his question. He didn't need to entertain him anymore, as he left the room, but Lucas yelled at him before he slammed the door behind him.

"I have told you everything that you wanted to know! Don't you dare to touch my brother! Damn it!" Lucas cursed at Khaos, but the alpha had long gone. "Hey! Cancel your order! Do you hear me! Hey!"

There was no need to cancel the order, because there was no one behind the door, no warrior heard the order, since they left the premises once the alpha entered the room and only returned when he left.

Right now, Khaos was heading toward the dungeon, where he kept Rhett. That man knew more than anyone could expect.

Along the way, the warrior from the River Creek pack gave the alpha a look, as they felt agitated toward him for imprisoning Rhett. In their mind, he was the future alpha for this pack, but they couldn't do anything against the royal warrior, especially when they had opened the gates for them.

Alpha Khaos literally swarmed the pack house with the warriors that he brought with him.

"Leave," Khaos said when he entered the cell, where Rhett was being held. It was a small cell, but there were two warriors stood on guard in front of it. The two warriors were from Khaos's pack.

"A day has not passed yet, but you already look for me?" Rhett lifted his head. He was sitting on the edge of his bed. He still looked as arrogant as before, since there was no torture that was ordered upon him.

"Beauty blood." Khaos didn't beat around the bush. "What do you know about it?"

As far as Khaos knew, Luca's client, or even you could call as his master, was Lucas, since he was the one, who introduced Zuri to that informant.

Rhett lifted his brows, but he didn't look surprised, instead he smirked. "So, you do know about the lycan three legacies? Who are you?"

"There is still no word from Silas," Leonard informed the king, as they walked through the same garden to reach the queen's palace. "Our people last saw him only a few hours before alpha Khaos, somehow, managed to make Rhett opened the gates."

Dacre listened to that carefully. He knew Khaos, he must have something under his sleeves to make Rhett opened the gates and Silas's disappearance must have anything to do with him.

He had witnessed how Khaos handled thing and if he was being honest, his wicked side was terrifying, since he was the mastermind behind all of Dacre's decision as the king.

However, thing would change now. Khaos held so much power, it threatened Dacre's position, if he couldn't have any leverage on him, he would be doomed, if one day khaos decided to betray him.

It was hard to believe that someone like him would be satisfied to work behind the shadow and didn't have his own hidden agenda.

But for now, Dacre still couldn't figure it out why Khaos was willing to support him all this time.

Dacre thought about his next move for a while and then issued an order. "Send Red Beast to get him." He then added. "If they are caught, they are required to end their life."

Red Beast was the best warrior under the king's order, a group of selected warriors, whom even Khaos couldn't control, since they only answered to the king.

"I think alpha Khaos will know that it was the Red Beast." Leonard was on point, but Dacre had thought about it.

"He couldn't pin the blame on me, if he didn't have any prove."

After that, the king went ahead to meet with his beloved queen. He needed to patiently wait for the result of that night, whether or not Nycta would bear the child. He hoped, it worked out, since he didn't like someone else touched what was his.

In front of the door, Nycta had been waiting for him, she looked beautiful in her purple dress, staring at him sheepishly. From the look of it, she had accepted their 'unique' relationship.

"How are you, my love?" Dacre kissed Nycta's cheek and she blushed. His young queen looked cheerful today. She kissed him back and they walked together.

"My king, is it possible for my sister to come and visit me? I missed her."

Dacre put his hand on her waist and pulled her closer. "Of course, you don't need my permission to invite your sister. You are the queen of this kingdom, aren't you?"

"Thank you!"

"I am the one, who asked question here," Khaos said, he unlocked the cell and let it opened when he stepped inside. "Tell me everything about Beauty Blood. What do you know about

it?"

Rhett stood up. He glanced at the opened door, but he didn't make any attempt to run away, since it would be a waste of energy. He wouldn't be able to escape this alpha.

"You asked me because you couldn't get anything from Lucas?" He knew the answer, because of the seal, the informant was unable to utter a single word about this confidential information.

Khaos didn't respond to that, he stared at him intently, as if he was assessing him.

"What can I get from it?"

"You want the alpha title?"

"The king is the one, who can confer the title to me."

Khaos chuckled when he heard that. "If you have an informant buried deep in the black

market, I think you know the answer for that stupid statement."

Rhett did know. Khaos was actually the one, who ran the court. Dacre was essentially a puppet

monarch without him knowing it.

"Fine. I want the title." Rhett nodded.

"Speak."

"The lycan three legacies." Rhett started. "While the other two are something that you can obtain, the golden stamp and the feather of the phoenix, beauty blood is something that you have to nurture." Rhett eyed Khaos curiously.
