A Night of Desire-Chapter 23: It Seems He Likes Women After All

Seth Quinn was slightly surprised. As if to prove a point, he reached out and touched her flushed face. The moment he made contact, Clara Grant involuntarily let out a low, sensual moan.

Just as I thought!

Seth Quinn’s gaze darkened, his expression turning grim. His eyes shot to President Lee, who was still sprawled on the ground. "You drugged her!" he stated, his voice utterly cold and certain.

President Lee, who had been struggling to push himself up, was so startled by the accusation that he collapsed back onto the floor, not daring to respond.

Seth Quinn didn’t seem to expect an answer. He turned to River Sterling and the other two. "I’m leaving him to you. You know what to do."

Without waiting for a reply, he wrapped his arm around the woman in his embrace and turned to leave.

Meanwhile, Clara Grant was feeling worse and worse. She desperately needed to do something to relieve the discomfort.

But she had no idea how to make herself feel better.

She felt a wave of heat wash over her, growing more and more intense. ’So hot... so incredibly hot!’ She wished she could just jump into ice water to cool off.

When Seth Quinn’s hand touched her face, a cooling sensation of pure bliss washed over her, and she couldn’t help but let out a soft, contented moan.

But the touch was gone in an instant, and the unbearable heat flooded her body once more.

Clara Grant’s brow furrowed. Without a second thought, she grabbed his hand and pressed it back against her cheek, nuzzling against it like a kitten.

Her hands unconsciously found their way around his neck, and one of her legs curled up, winding around his waist.

She knew this was wrong. She knew it was shameful. She knew a crowd of people was watching her. But the last vestiges of clarity in her mind were no match for her body’s overwhelming needs.

By now, it was obvious to River Sterling, Linden Jennings, and Chase Childs what was happening. But while a faint, unnatural blush crept onto Chase Childs’s face, the other two simply stared, unblinking and thoroughly intrigued.

"Seth, we’ll handle things here. You should get her out of here, quick. Or else..." Linden Jennings couldn’t resist saying, a knowing look on his face as he trailed off.

Seth Quinn shot him a glance but didn’t say anything else. He gently unwound the woman’s leg from his waist and, supporting her, headed for the parking lot.

"Seth, have a wonderful and unforgettable night!" River Sterling called out cheerfully from behind them. ’If I wasn’t afraid Seth would beat me up for it, I’d totally let out a loud whistle!’

’So Seth, who’s never had any interest in women, is finally coming around. Getting into a brawl over a girl... looks like he’s into women after all!’

Seth Quinn, however, didn’t spare him a single glance. Without turning back, he continued walking away with Clara Grant.

River Sterling didn’t seem to mind. He turned to Chase Childs and said with a grin, "Assistant Childs, I believe congratulations are in order!"

Chase Childs looked baffled. "Congratulations for what?"

"Because you don’t have to stress about finding the ’woman with the perfect teeth’ anymore!"

"So you’re saying... that girl is the one Seth was looking for?" Linden Jennings asked thoughtfully, catching on. 𝒻𝘳𝘦𝘦𝘸ℯ𝒷𝘯𝘰𝑣ℯ𝑙.𝘤𝑜𝘮

River Sterling shrugged, hands spread wide. "What do you think? When have you ever seen Seth act like this over a woman? Let alone care so much!"

Linden Jennings and Chase Childs both understood. That made sense. Knowing Seth’s personality, he wouldn’t get this worked up over a woman he knew, let alone a complete stranger he’d just met.
