A Single Mother's Farm of the Gods-Chapter 546: Harmonica
The song was written in Elven Language, a broken harmonica, and hidden in a chest underneath the World Tree. Elaina is not sure how these are all connected or anything, but is it even a coincidence that she found something connected to the Elves this easily when many dissuade her from finding these clues to be harder due to the Elves purposely hiding their traces? And yet, Elaina seems to be getting something that can potentially get her to meet those elusive Elves the moment she hits a deadlock. She found it too convenient.
"[Is it really a coincidence, or is this just something that has been planned out from the start? Honestly, I, too, found it a bit weird. Ever since this moron here introduced you to me, somehow, peculiar things have been happening to the point that it is peculiar in its own way. Not only that but even though you are a normal human being, not even to the point that you can compete on those people who earned the title as heroes, you somehow surpassed that and became a patron of multiple gods including me.]" the Goddess of Medicine muttered as she thought about how Elaina seems to be kind of finding everything seems to be laid out for her.
"[Isn’t it nice? Being able to have a laid out plan for you without having too much trouble because something or someone is blocking your way? I don’t know why you guys seem to be fixated on this matter at all.]" The God of Farming seemed to have no idea what they were talking about.
"[Haaah...I don’t know why you sometimes sound so intelligent, yet most of the time, you are more of a moron. It’s kind of frustrating to be honest.]" the Goddess of Medicine felt like she is about to develop a headache.
"In any case, this is still a major find. For now, I will return to the others and report to them that the corruption of the World Tree is finally gone and it is now on its way to recover from its rot. And if possible, ask them about this box for further confirmation about the booklet and the broken harmonica."
Once she finished talking with the Gods, Elaina is ready to return when Pixie popped up on her breast pocket. Elaina has forgotten that she was inside there the whole time and considering that she has been real quiet for quite some time, Elaina couldn’t help forgetting her presence.
"I didn’t know that you have direct communication with the Gods, Miss Elaina. No wonder you seemed to have a good knack on the surroundings, and have good ideas here and there all of a sudden. I always thought that you have quite a good thinking head to be able to do what you always do, but didn’t think that you have a more insane capability being hidden."
"You know I was talking to gods? Have you been listening this whole time?" Elaina didn’t know what to say.
"I do but I can only hear your voice, I never hear any of the other gods or whatever they are currently doing. But considering that it is a power that only you can do, then perhaps that’s what your power really are and at this point, seeing how many miracles you have done and being able to befriend a local goddess as well, I don’t think it is a farfetched idea that you can actually talk to actual gods yourself."
"Can you please keep it to yourself, Pixie? I know that this secret is too big and I can’t just keep it hidden forever," Elaina pleaded.
"No worries, Miss Elaina. Considering that perhaps the reason you managed to revitalize and let my other kin fairies live in your farm so easily, keeping a secret is not a big deal. Your secret is safe with me."
Elaina smiled and thanked Pixie about it. After confronting Elaina, Pixie returned to Elaina’s breast pocket and decided to sleep. Now that Elaina is heading back to the other fairies, Pixie has no more business with them and went to sleep. 𝓯𝓻𝓮𝙚𝙬𝓮𝙗𝒏𝙤𝒗𝙚𝙡.𝒄𝒐𝓶
Before she head back truly, Elaina made sure to check the surrounding areas first and ensure that she didn’t miss a spot where the corruption still persist. Once she is sure that those problems are gone, Elaina returned to the first World Tree in the cave and meet up with everyone who are waiting for her good news.

By the time she returned, the cave that looks like any other cave with a big golden tree growing behind them have changed drastically. Plants of unknown variety have started growing around the cave. Green grass grows on their feet now and some shrubs have also bloomed and covered the place in greenery. Elaina even thought that she was in a different place due to the changes.
When the fairies saw Elaina come out from the cave, the fairies started to cheer on Elaina, celebrating her success, leaving Elaina confused on what is happening.
"Ah, it seems you have finally returned from your task. Tell me, is the corruption of that place truly gone now?" the Elder Pixie asked Elaina.
"Yes. It has fully disappeared. I wasn’t expecting much from it, but it seems that the watering can that has been enhanced with dragon power has a lot of power in the process. I have to thank that Dragon Knight for his blessings."
"Ah, unfortunately, he just went to sleep. Said he exhausted his reserves and would like to recover his strength. Now I know why he sounds tired, it seems that was the main reason."
"Well, that’s that. The second world tree is ready to be visited again. Although the rot still exist, it seems that it is healing with the corruption already gone, it won’t take too long before that rot would disappear."
"Good to know. Your effort saved the world trees when we couldn’t even handle with the problems it had. I am happy that you are capable of everything like I have thought you would be."
Before their conversation ends, Elaina told the Elder Pixie about the earrings and the result of everything that has transpired.
"I see, so the ring is hard to replicate even for dwarves eh? Well, considering that you said this was an elven craftsmanship, this brooch is going to be troublesome to create even for a dwarf. Guess you will be stopping there considering that elves have hidden themselves nowadays?"
She shook her head. "No. I plan to pursue and find them. I had a clue and somehow, a method of finding them. Have a look at this booklet and broken harmonica."
Elaina shared the booklet and the broken harmonica to the Elder Pixie and he was surprised.
"This harmonica...it is a regular harmonica, but it has the traces of the elves lingering to it. And this booklet as well. Looks like this things you found might actually link you to the final traces of the elves. But are you sure you are going to pursue them just for a brooch? I am fine with not being able to have these brooch replicated you know?"
Elaina shook her head. "Call me stubborn but I don’t want to break an agreement. So even if it sounds like something is over, I will find a way to make it happen. I will fulfill what I said."
The Elder Pixie couldn’t persuade Elaina about it and so, he entrusted the brooch to Elaina at this point. Elaina promised that she will find a way.

When she returned home, its already dark and the lights around the farm has been lit up. Elaina returned Pixie back to her home and ate dinner with everyone before retiring to bed.
Normally, Elaina would feel exhausted already especially since she have done a lot of stuff that day but after she got revitalized by the spirit of the world tree, that fatigue is nowhere to be found and she still feel energetic even after what she have done that day. As a result, Elaina couldn’t sleep. She sat on her bed and glance over at the booklet and the broken harmonica sitting on the bedside table.
That’s when Elaina remembered something. She quickly head over to the living room and opened one of the drawers in the table where Elaina keeps her small trinkets inside including the gloves she uses for taming monsters. She grab one of them, revealing it to be a harmonica. It is the same harmonica that has been around for quite some time after receiving it as a reward back in the day. She never found a way to use the harmonica back then as she is more focused on keeping the farm working to be giving her time practicing playing the instrument.
She returns to her room and grab the booklet and opened it. Although the words on the book is indeed incomprehensible for Elaina, there is a music sheet present alongside those words which allowed The Goddess of Medicine to identify it as a song. If Elaina had to guess, those words written with the music notes must be the lyrics of the song.
"Considering that the broken harmonica is a regular harmonica, does that mean I can actually play the song of the elves if I wanted to in a different harmonica?"
