Abyss Summoner-Chapter 139 - 137: Abyss Strategy
[Order]
When the search team wraps up their day’s work, everyone carries heavy bundles filled with snacks, grains, and various daily supplies. They arrange these foods uniformly while a large number of jerky hangs from above in the warehouse.
Chen Feng currently lacks nothing other than insect meat.
After a period of hunting, the low-level insects nearby were entirely eradicated. Their shells were fashioned into shields, their meat into jerky, and even the eyes of the insects were refined into fuel to be used as candles.
Outside, the terrifying insects are nightmare-level enemies to humans. Whether centipedes, scorpions, or beetles, once mutated, each possesses extreme lethal power.
They regard humans as food, using the most brutal methods to tear the flesh from their bodies.
However, within the Order, insects have become food on the table. These mutated insects are incredibly high in protein, their nutritional value even surpassing beef.
Meat.
No matter the faction, it is the most crucial reserve resource, strictly guarded so that ordinary people have no access to it aside from professionals and certain high-level individuals.
Yet within the Order, even a member of the logistics team can earn a large piece of jerky if they excel in cleaning hygiene. In the current environment, this is a most extravagant reward.
In addition to food, a corner is piled high with weapons: bone-removal knives, kitchen knives, military shovels, and even some spring sabers. Three thousand pieces of these regulated blades are neatly placed together.
[Warfare Resources]
Beyond equipping the fighting members, these weapons have another purpose: to arm Abyssal creatures.
The Abyss possesses rich mineral resources, but the native refining skills are primitive, akin to the stone age. Most demons and humanoids prefer using locally sourced materials, picking up the minerals at their feet to throw, which leaves much to be desired in effectiveness.
Eyes on the Abyss.
This is Chen Feng’s mad plan.
Though the Abyss’s environment is harsh, it contains many valuable materials, the abundance of minerals truly staggering—Blood Stone, Obsidian, Mithril, these resources unheard of in the human world are plentiful in the Abyss.
To extract resources in the Abyss, Chen Feng must have his own proxies.
Cat Race.
This is Chen Feng’s nurtured target.
The Cat Race has always been at the lower rung of the Abyss, often bullied by other demons, even the vile goblin dares to launch attacks against them.
Oppression breeds explosion.
There’s no absolute good in the Abyss, and the Cat Race is no exception. To survive, they will ruthlessly strike at weaker worms.
Food and weapons.
These are Chen Feng’s twin preparations to control the Cat Race.
The former will free them from hunger, while the latter will restore their courage, prompting them to exact revenge on former enemies.
Flora holds absolute sway among the Cat Race, and once she is controlled, it indicates that the entire tribe could become Chen Feng’s absolute possession.
Minerals need extraction.
Chen Feng requires vast numbers of slaves to carry out this task.
In these circumstances, it’s time for the Cat Race to embark on their conquest.
Goblins.
These deceitful and vile semi-humanoids have green skin, sharp noses, faces resembling pimples, wearing tattered clothing. Only a few priests have complete garments, while the rest don’t even have pants.
Goblins breed at a faster rate than mice, frequently seen in the wild.
Also part of the Abyss’s lower stratum, goblin weapons are equally crude. They engage in battle with wooden sticks and stones.
Without protective gear, goblin defense is weak; an ordinary spade could split open their heads.
Their sole advantage over the Cat Race is their numbers. Aside from fighting and eating, goblins’ only hobby is reproduction.
A few goblins gathering swiftly creates a tribe of over a hundred.
Terrifying.
It’s their uncontrolled reproductive capacity that allows them to stay rooted in the Abyss.
Like weeds, no matter how much you cut, a few hundred ragged Abyssal mobs spring up soon after.
Reproductive ability.
This is Chen Feng’s keyword attraction.
They are born slaves, their terrifying reproductive rate promises Chen Feng an endless supply of mining workers.
Goblins are omnivores, able to eat even roots when starving.
To support them is easy, and as for malnutrition, deaths due to sickness or exhaustion, Chen Feng opts to ignore it completely.
For these deceitful green-skinned monsters, no treatment is too excessive.
Chen Feng will supply the Cat Race with enough weapons, equipped with steel sabers and iron shovels, coupled with their natural agility, they can effortlessly break through goblin defenses.
In these circumstances, goblins have only two fates: become slaves or perish.
Agent.
Enslavement.
Mining.
Chen Feng will refine those minerals into powerful weapons, thus arming his forces in the real world.
Besides the Cat Race, Dark Elves, Undead Mage, and even Inferior Demons, Chen Feng will have each raise their own faction in the Abyss.
Positive cycle.
These factions will continually supply Chen Feng with resources, while in reality, Chen Feng will find ways to recruit Enchanters and Forgers to craft weapons, feeding back the Abyss, allowing his Summoned Beasts to dominate broader territories.
The chaos of the Abyss is beyond human imagination.
In an environment dedicated to chaos and slaughter, fighting for territory and engaging in brutal combat is as commonplace as eating and drinking.
The Summoner’s strength begins to reveal.
If Chen Feng could sign a contract with an Abyss Lord, it signifies that he could command a vicious, mighty Demon Legion without much cost.
Abyss Strategy.
With resources and power in both worlds, Chen Feng’s influence will swell tremendously.
Of course, all this requires careful planning over time.
Only at the Golden Level can one breach the dimension to teleport or receive resources; to descend into the Abyss requires legendary strength.
Process.
Strength and influence cannot be constructed in a few days.
One cannot eat a fatty in a single bite.
For the future.
Chen Feng has enough patience to prepare everything.
