Accidentally Reincarnated in Cultivation World-Chapter 297: Agreements
After some time, Yu Xuan and the others reached the Discipline Committee Pagoda.
Tuoba Jun immediately went off to file his report, antennae swaying with official responsibility.
Yu Xuan and Number One carried the unconscious members, while Number Two, Three, and Four wandered off for a casual stroll — likely to gossip, scout, or get snacks.
Their priorities were unclear.
All the surrounding buildings belonged to Discipline Committee disciples, so Yu Xuan picked one, pressed his medallion to the formation plate, and checked himself in, then did the same on behalf of the still-unconscious disciples.
One by one, he floated them into their temporary rooms.
After securing everyone, Yu Xuan and Number One stepped back outside.
"What now?"
Yu Xuan stretched lazily.
"What should we do now?"
"Boss..." Number One stared at him blankly.
"Did you come here just on a whim?"
"Yeah," Yu Xuan replied honestly.
"I prefer cultivating on mountains. But my master sent me down to gain worldly experience."
Number One stared even harder.
’What kind of worldly experience requires going to jail? This boss is scary.’
Then another thought struck him, one far more profitable.
’With Boss here, we could attempt the Treasure Ground. We will lose out on spoils sure, but we’d definitely clear it.’
Number One’s eyes lit up.
"Boss, actually... I have a treasure map. How about we attempt it together?"
Yu Xuan perked up immediately.
"Treasure?" His eyes gleamed then narrowed suspiciously.
"Why didn’t you clear it yourselves?"
Number One let out a nervous laugh.
"Haha, well... we did try. All four of us. We got defeated before reaching even the inner ring. But! With you, Boss, we might actually have a chance to enter the core area."
Yu Xuan considered it for two seconds.
"Alright. Let’s go tomorrow. For now, I’ll go meet the Committee Head."
"Then see you tomorrow, Boss!" Number One saluted and ran off to gather his comrades, excitement bubbling in his steps.
Meanwhile, Yu Xuan approached the central pagoda once more ready to meet Bing Xin, the Committee Head.

"Wielding the Heavenly Punishment Lightning... not bad," Bing Xin said casually, eyes drifting over Yu Xuan like she was appraising a treasure.
Yu Xuan raised a brow.
"Did you have someone monitoring me?"
"No. Tuoba Jun’s report was thorough." She said.
"Besides that, we confirmed the important intel, apparently the monsters inside the gate can cultivate on their own. That means we need to deploy stronger disciples. Perhaps even the elders will personally teach the ones weaker in direct combat."
Yu Xuan wasn’t surprised.
Of course Tuoba Jun reported his every move, unlike Yu Xuan, who was a "forcibly drafted" member, Tuoba Jun was a true committee disciple.
’Do they even read memories?’ Yu Xuan wondered.
Either way, concealing his power was clearly pointless in a world where the Law of Jungle is prevalent.
"I had considered assigning you another task," Bing Xin continued, "but I’ve halted that for now. Your next assignment will be to construct a return gate inside a newly forming gate."
"Do we know when or how the next gate forms?" Yu Xuan asked.
"We can’t pinpoint the exact space-time coordinates," Bing Xin replied, "but we have estimates."
She leaned back slightly.
"Now tell me about your first gate experience."
Yu Xuan exhaled and began recounting everything that happened.
When he finished, Bing Xin’s eyes narrowed.
"Interesting... throughout this entire time, while I was subtly influencing your thoughts, you didn’t waver. Not even slightly, it didn’t work on you at all."
She tilted her head.
"And you aren’t even angry."
Her tone was almost impressed.
Yu Xuan’s gaze cooled.
"So this was a test after all. A mental suggestion implant? Or something similar?"
"Don’t blame me, junior." Bing Xin waved a hand lazily.
"Your master gave me full authority over you. And in the battlefield, attacks come in countless forms, many you wouldn’t even comprehend. Sometimes the result of a fight is predetermined long before blows are exchanged."
Yu Xuan opened his mouth.
"Is this because of your physi—"
Freeze.
A suffocating cold pressure wrapped around him, halting his words mid-sentence.
Even his thoughts felt like frostbitten branches.
Bing Xin’s expression remained calm, but her eyes were cold.
"Watch your tone."
Her paper scroll froze solid in her hand.
"I have tolerated you generously, but this is not your home. There are limits to things you should speak. I will forgive you once since I started it."
Yu Xuan slowly released a breath as the cold faded.
"...Then there is nothing more for me to do here. I will take my leave."
"Oh, there is something," Bing Xin added.
A bundle of fabric materialized in her hand, and she tossed it at him.
Yu Xuan caught it.
"Patrol the streets and prevent large-scale conflicts," she said dismissively.
"And wear this uniform. I have no idea why the others haven’t arrested you yet for walking around in Clan robes."
Yu Xuan nodded silently, then vanished.
As quiet returned to the room, a voice echoed in Bing Xin’s mind.
’Weren’t you a little too harsh? He’ll be your secretary for a while, you know.’
Bing Xin’s eye twitched.
"Shut up," she snapped.
The voice wisely fell silent.

Eternal Star Heavenly World
Several days had passed since the Chaos Heaven Peak Master descended into this world, and in that time she had learned more than she ever expected.
She stood now on a quiet path, the wind brushing past the small village before her, an ordinary settlement within the Yu Clan’s domain.
And yet, her expression was dazed.
Utterly Profoundly dazed.
The gossip she had heard, the scandals, all of it was so outrageous she genuinely wondered if this was a prank.
Not only that, she had met Yu Changming, father of Yu Xuan and Yu Lingluo.
Then, later.
She met the World’s Will of the Eternal Star Heavenly World.
After speaking with it, she had stood in silence for a long time, struggling to process the revelations she had been given.
Now, looking at the ordinary Yu Clan village, she clicked her tongue.
"Damn... these younglings did a great job with the contract terms. Not even a single loophole."
The more she reviewed the agreements binding Yu Xuan, Yu Lingluo, the Clans and this Heavenly World, the more her head hurt.
She sighed, looking up at the sky.
"Maybe this is fate."
Her figure blurred turning into dust.
And just like that.
The Chaos Heaven Peak Master vanished from this world.
