Chapter 330: Something Really Strange

"Evil Destroying Fist."

Yu Hao’s voice was low, steady yet it echoed like a decree.

The colossal Acalanatha behind him surged forward and merged into his body.

In that instant, ancient symbols – jagged, profound, and utterly foreign ignited across Yu Hao’s skin, carving themselves into his flesh.

The air shuddered physically.

Two massive arms of condensed force manifested behind him, their fists vast and indistinct, as though reality itself struggled to give them form.

They carried a single, overwhelming intent.

Eradicate Evil.

"What, what is that?!"

"Shit! My bloodline it’s trembling!"

"How can a human be this powerful?!"

Panic spread through the demons.

Then Yu Hao punched.

The fists descended.

A thunderous shockwave exploded outward as the attack struck the demon ranks.

Several demons were sent flying like broken kites, their bodies tearing through the air before crashing far away.

Blood sprayed freely as their spirits shuddered, cracked, and recoiled under the weight of that single blow.

Coughing violently, many of them collapsed, their cultivation destabilized.

On the other side of the battlefield, Yu Xueqing and Lin Fan were locked in a desperate defense.

Their priority was clear.

Protect Yu Bo.

The deer-legged demon had not given up.

His eyes burned with fixation as he darted through the chaos, targeting the formation core directly.

Just then.

A terrifying sword slash descended from above.

The demon barely had time to register danger.

SCHRAAAK!

His second arm was severed cleanly, spinning through the air before dissolving into blood mist.

"Haha!" a voice rang out arrogantly.

"I, Mo Lin, have arrived!"

Mo Lin stood above them, sword gleaming with a dark, ominous luster.

"YOU BASTARD!" Lin Fan shouted, eyes wide.

"Are you trying to kill us too?!"

The released sword qi had been far too wide.

Yu Xueqing and Lin Fan were forced to clash with the residual waves, barely managing to deflect them.

Though they weren’t the primary targets, it was still dangerous while protecting Yu Bo.

"Uh haha..." Mo Lin scratched his head awkwardly.

"Sorry!"

The deer demon’s face twisted in fury and fear.

He didn’t hesitate.

He retreated immediately.

But Mo Lin flashed forward, blocking his path once more.

’Fuck...’

The demon’s thoughts spiraled.

’I’m really going to die here!’

Though he was able to handle these two due to his speed, he wasn’t brave enough now that Mo Lin is included.

And he wasn’t stupid either.

He was a firm believer of the quote: "Sometimes speed is a decisive factor in any activity."

So abandoning all pride, he turned and fled toward his remaining comrades dodging Mo Lin multiple times.

Only to freeze mid-step.

What greeted him was pure nightmare.

The Tier Four demon was gone.

In her place.

A battlefield dominated by a towering, twenty-foot-tall monster, radiating wrath and crushing pressure.

His comrades were barely holding on, desperately fending off Yu Hao’s overwhelming presence.

Realization hit him like a hammer.

Leaving Yu Xueqing with the recovering Yu Bo, Lin Fan and Mo Lin moved together, chasing the fleeing demon without hesitation.

There would be no escape.

Not today.

Meanwhile, Yu Hao had completely lost his restraint.

The colossal power coursing through him howled for release, and though he fought to keep his mind intact, crimson veins crept into his eyes.

With every heartbeat, his sanity thinned but in exchange, his strength skyrocketed.

"AHHH—!" 𝒇𝓻𝓮𝓮𝙬𝙚𝒃𝒏𝓸𝙫𝒆𝙡.𝓬𝓸𝒎

He roared and threw another punch.

A demon didn’t even have time to scream before its body collapsed into blood mist, erased by sheer force.

The ground cracked, spiderweb fractures racing outward from Yu Hao’s feet.

He was no longer just fighting.

He was becoming a calamity.

From a distance, Lin Fan and Mo Lin stood side by side, breathing heavily.

At their feet lay the deer-legged demon, dead at last.

Lin Fan flexed his arm and winced.

"Damn..." he muttered, glancing at his shattered hand. Bone fragments had already begun knitting back together, but it would take time.

He swallowed several pills in quick succession, their medicinal energy flooding his body and healing him.

Mo Lin wasn’t looking at him.

His gaze was locked on Yu Hao.

"This isn’t good," Lin Fan said quietly.

Mo Lin nodded.

Inside his sword, the old woman’s voice rang out, no longer mocking or amused.

’If this kid completely loses control, everyone here will die.’

Mo Lin’s pupils shrank as panic surged through him.

’Then tell me how to stop it!’ he shouted inwardly.

’I’m not dying young because of some berserk idiot, old women!’

Before she could answer.

BOOM!

Something crashed into the ground not far from them.

A demon’s body skidded across the earth, twisted at impossible angles.

Bones jutted through flesh, its chest caved in entirely.

It twitched once... then twice... before letting out a garbled, broken sound that could barely be called a word.

It was alive.

But only barely.

Lin Fan stared at the demon wanting to end it misery.

"...That one’s done for."

Mo Lin swallowed.

Fear, real fear crept into both of them.

Yu Hao hovered at the center of destruction, shoulders heaving, flames licking around his body.

The manifestation behind him writhed, its fury bleeding into his own.

"If this keeps up..." Lin Fan said slowly, "...do we stop him?"

High above, upon the spirit boat in the crimson sky, Yu Xuan watched Yu Hao with unprecedented seriousness.

What he saw below was no longer just raw power.

His thoughts began to travel to various peoples.

First came Lingluo, his sister – clearly special, her talent and fate refusing to remain ordinary no matter how much she tried to act dumb.

Then Ming Tianmei, whose actions and timing made it impossible to ignore the possibility that she possessed some form of prophetic or destiny-aligned ability.

Then Mo Lin, a sword cultivator carrying a spirit within his blade.

And now Yu Hao.

Yu Xuan’s eyes narrowed.

Those symbols.

Those manifestations.

They were similar yet different to the Immortal Characteristics that the Devouring Demon and the one he saw at the shop, in the Chaos Heaven Peak had.

"...Something is really strange," Yu Xuan muttered under his breath.
