Accidentally Yours, Mr. Stranger-Chapter 96 - 7. Captured
Chapter 96: 7. Captured
Gary was precise and quick, and his knife instantly hit the man’s calf.
Screaming loudly as if he were being butchered, the man fell to the ground. Panic filled his eyes, and he tried to get up again.
But Justin was quick and caught up to him, tackling him down immediately.
The onlookers were stunned to see the thrilling scene before them and wondered if it was an action scene being filmed. But if it was, why wasn’t there any camera or shooting equipment? What was happening?
While Gary and Justin dragged one man, Kelsey single-handedly pulled the other, and all Nick could do was stare blankly.
"Woman, couldn’t you have allowed me to show everyone my powers? Why did you hog the spotlight all by yourself?"
"Yeah, right. Who asked you to be a lazy snail? By the time you even chased him, he’d have already escaped to another continent," Kelsey scoffed, pouring water over Nick’s complaints.
"You..."
Nick wasn’t slow by any means. It was just that he was sitting on the side farthest from the footpath and had ended up being the last one to chase the men.
Before he could take any action, Kelsey beat him to it and tackled the man with her brilliant moves. All he could do was watch and applaud like the other bystanders.
Since there were onlookers, they didn’t create a scene. The two men were dragged towards their car and were forced inside.
The two men were squished together while Justin and Nick guarded them on either side.
Gary didn’t drive the car into the Lawrence Group directly. Instead, he wandered around for some time, waiting for the crowd to disperse.
"Where...where are you taking us?" one of the men trembled and looked at the four people.
"To meet your Grim Reapers." Nick smiled at him as if he were their well-wisher. But his expression creeped the hell out of them.
"We didn’t do anything. Why are you capturing us?"
"Because we want to. Do you have a problem?" Justin asked as if he were shopping in the mall casually, not capturing people.
"This is against the law. I’ll call the police," the man whose calf had been injured by Gary’s knife warned, and Nick chuckled to himself, finding the two men idiotic yet cute.
Did they not know their situation? They are still trying to threaten us in their current predicament.
How bold!
"Please go ahead. We’d like to have some tea with the police as well," Kelsey said. She even graciously held her phone for the two men to take.
’Kelsey is the best. Her words can anger people until they puke blood,’ Nick thought, shaking his head lightly.
"Why aren’t you taking my phone? Don’t you want to inform the police?" Kelsey almost forced her phone into their hands when they didn’t take it.
"You..." The men were especially scared of Kelsey. She looked like she’d punch them to death if they made a noise.
Accepting defeat, they shut their mouth, thinking of ways to escape from their predicament.
After fifteen minutes of driving randomly, Gary drove the car into the Lawrence Group and went straight to the personal parking lot.
Kyrell had already sent them the instructions. They didn’t have to do much except bring the two men to the basement, the door to which was in the personal parking lot. When the sensor sensed the people approaching, it scanned their faces immediately.
Sienna had already granted access to them. So, once their faces were read, the basement door slid to one side, creating a pathway for them.
"That’s so cool," Nick mumbled, his eyes sparkling in awe.
The four people dragged their captives and entered the basement, only for their eyes to widen when they saw what lay ahead of them.
The entire basement was filled with cars, from vintage to modern, some even going as far as to no longer being available on the market. There were even cars that were no longer being manufactured.
Not only cars, but there were also rarely available guns, and to the four people from the Cheetah Corps, it was like a trip to Disneyland.
Even their captives were stunned to see the rare collections. For a moment, they wondered how much they’d get if they sold even one car around them.
"Oh my God!" Nick was the first to break down. His mind wasn’t in his control while his eyes kept studying everything. His hands itched to touch them. The horrifying thought that he couldn’t made him want to cry.
Even Kelsey was astonished, and she studied the array of guns stored behind a glass cabinet.
Even though they were mesmerized, they didn’t forget what they were supposed to do. Dragging the two men to the chairs, they threw them into the chairs, almost sending them to the floor.
They didn’t have any ropes. So, they had to settle for their ties.
Bound and incapable of escaping, the men were left to struggle while the four people explored the basement, feeling their blood burn in excitement.
There were a lot of cars they had never seen before, and Justin, being the car enthusiast, felt excitement coursing through him. He really wanted to drive them and find out how they were, experience the thrill and honor of driving such exotic cars.
But he knew he didn’t have the right. The cars didn’t belong to him.
’Perhaps, Miss Lawrence might allow me if I request her,’ he thought.
While the four people studied the guns and the cars, the two bound men tried their best to free the knots. But they couldn’t whatsoever. Their hands and legs were bound so tightly that they couldn’t loosen them.
To make matters worse, they were separated by a few meters. They couldn’t even help each other.
Just as they continued to struggle, one of their phones buzzed, and the man froze in his chair instantly.
The buzz wasn’t loud. So, only he heard it.
The man knew who was calling him. He held his breath, hoping no one would realize his phone was vibrating.
But his prayer fell on deaf ears, and Nick’s head shot to him instantly. Making his way towards his prey with a wicked smile on his face, Nick swiftly pulled out his phone from his trouser pocket.
"And what do we have here?"
