Adventures of the last Wild Dragon-Chapter 210: To the Dungeon!
Commander Masin walked down the streets of Cragkieth, he had tried to send his unit out to search for the two mysterious women that he had seen in the tournament but they had no luck.
After witnessing their battle against one another in the finals he was more sure than ever that the one known as Violet was who he was searching for.
Call it intuition or anything else but he was more sure if that fact than he had been of nearly anything else in his life.
So now that he had run out of ideas on how to track her down himself he turned to the one organisation that he thought would be able to locate her.
So it was that he now walked through the compound of the Wild Order in hopes of having a meeting with one of their elders.
He didn't know much about their order other than the basics. They were formed under the goal of aiding wild dragons, and after they died out had undertaken the dragons previous role of eliminating corruption wherever it may occur.
As an organisation dedicated to the Wilds he believed that they may be able to locate the girl, or at the very least be able to point him in the right direction.
As he approached the entrance to the main building, the door was opened for him. Out walked a mountain of a man, a Minotaur if he had to guess. And a sovereign based on the subtle waves of power that Masin felt emanate from the man.
Masin bowed to the man, showing the correct amount of respect to such a powerful person, only then did he speak. "Greetings, my name is Masin Syan, I have come in the hopes that you may be able to aid me in my quest. Would I be right in assuming that you are the Elder that I am to meet with?"
The Minotaur stayed silent for a prolonged moment, eventually though he did speak, his voice reverberating through Masin's body.
"I am no elder, just an enforcer. Come with me commander Masin, the elder awaits."
Masin swallowed nervously, he had not told this man his rank, 'so the order clearly did their homework on me.' He thought to himself. Still he diligently followed behind the enforcer as he was led into the building and through several hallways.
Not long after that the enforcer stopped outside of a door, he gently knocked his large fist against it and then paused, after a moment he nodded to himself and opened the door, gesturing Masin to enter.
Masin took a deep breath to steel himself before he walked through the door.
He walked into an office of sorts. Bookshelves lined one wall, whilst the other was decorated with various paintings. At the back of the room a large desk sat, behind with sat a woman of breathtaking beauty, not just any woman either, no this was a dryad and a truly powerful dryad at that. Even with her presence being politely restrained Masin felt like he was drowning slightly.
He shivered slightly as that impression washed over him. He then fought to control himself as he bowed once more before this powerful woman.
"I greet the elder of the Wild Order. I have come hoping that you can aid me in my quest ~"
Yet before he could continue the woman spoke. "Oh I know about your quest young commander. You are searching for Violet are you not? Prey tell for what reasons are you searching for the Last Wild Dragon?"
Masin shivered once more, that feeling of drowning briefly coming back with full force. He gasped for air when the pressure lessened, he dared not look up to meet this woman's eyes.
He wondered how she knew his goal, he even briefly contemplated lying to her but quickly quashed that foolish idea. A woman as powerful as this undoubtedly had many ways of telling if someone was lying, so he steeled himself as he contemplated on his objective.
"I have been sent by my king to search for the Wild Dragon, not in the hope of capturing her or claiming her for my kingdom. But to aid in her growth and prevent the kingdom of Eldor from capturing or even killing her as they undoubtedly wish to do. Our greatest oracle saw that I would find her here, in Cragkieth so I have arrived here.
I believe that I saw her in the colosseum the previous day but have been unable to confirm or locate her after the fact. I am hoping that you may be able to aid me in locating and protecting her."
Silence took over the room after Masin spoke, beads of sweat trickled down his neck, yet he dared not raise his head.
After several agonising seconds he hear the dryad speak.
"I understand commander. I can aid you in your quest, I would have been aiding her myself but our relationship is currently strained… regardless. I can help you but I have some conditions."
Masin felt himself relax ever so slightly, he was confused as to why their relationship might be strained but was smart enough to know not to broach such a topic, especially not in a setting such as this. So he instead raised his head to once more look up at the beautiful and terrifying woman sat leisurely behind her desk.
"Your help would be most appreciated, may I know what these conditions that you speak of are?"
The woman smiled at him, it was not a kind smile, no it was that of a predator eyeing its wounded prey. "Oh that is quite simple really. I only need a couple of small things from you."
Mason shivered once more as the dryad spoke, wondering if receiving her help was truly worth whatever price he would end up paying.

The morning soon came to find Violet leaping out of bed in excitement. They would be heading to a dungeon! She had spent some time yesterday studying up on dungeons in preparation for their exploration and was more excited than ever to get going.
"Come on! Get up Luna! We cannt be late!" She excitedly spoke as she bounced on the edge of the bed whilst Luna groggily woke up.
"Fine fine, I'm up okay." She grumbled. Still she couldn't stay annoyed at being woken up, the waves of excitement she felt coming through their bond made it impossible to be angry at her companion.
Before long Violet had enough of Luna slowly getting dressed and rush out the door to begin knocking on the door to Susan and Rhyana's room, she head some grumbling from inside until the door was finally opened.
A slightly bedraggled Susan looked out at the excitable Violet with slight annoyance. "Why are you so energetic today? We still have plenty of time before we need to go."
"But we canny be late! I don't want to miss this!"
Susan groaned but still complied, stating that they would be up and ready soon before pointedly closing the door in violets face. Unbothered by that Violet rushed back into her room to find a mostly dressed Luna putting on the last parts of her white leather armour.

After an eternity and a half for Violet, or around 7 minutes for everyone else, everyone was ready. They had a quick breakfast, only getting 3 helpings, they said their goodbyes to the inn keeper, he seemed oddly happy to see them leave for whatever reason.
The group then made their way through the city, they were supposed to meet in front of the Northern gate of the city. It was quite easy to find as they only had to follow one of the main roads heading north and they eventually hit the wall and the road that followed its circumference.
Soon enough they arrived in front of the gate, currently only a couple of adventures were present. They seemed content to claim a spot of their own as they all waited for the appointed time.
As time passed a steady trickle of adventures slowly gathered in the square, by the time that the appointed time had arrived they numbered just over 30 individuals.
Then a slightly larger group of people arrived, numbering 8 in total and bringing the total number of adventures to exactly 40 people.
One of the people from that larger group stepped forwards. He was a bulky dwarves man, he wore well crafted leather armour and had a crossbow slung across his back and two dagger at his hips. A well trimmed beard being the most defining aspect of the man.
"Alrighty you lot, gather round. My name is Odrin and I'll be in charge of this expedition. I know the location and have briefly scouted it out. So let's not waist any more time than necessary eh? Come on then let's go." With his quite lackluster speech concluded he proceeded to march towards the gates, a quick word with the guards present and the gates began to open.
Soon Violet and her friends were once more leaving the city of Cragkieth. Little did they know that this would be the last time they saw the city for a long time.
