But she knew Lu Zhonian all too well.
Lu Zhonian would not let go of a man who had once threatened him.
"Shuci hasn’t sent these documents out yet, the Bai Family doesn’t know anything!" Song Nian tightly grasped Lu Zhonian’s wrist, her palm sweaty, dampening his skin with a cool temperature, she said urgently and in a panic, "As long as we make Bai Shuci sure that he won’t say anything, it won’t affect you!"
Her frantic appearance, in the eyes of Lu Zhonian, was truly ridiculous.
Not to mention her reasoning was so clumsy.
Bai Shuci’s eyes were filled with sarcasm, he lightly pinched Song Nian’s chin, as if casually scrutinizing her.
