"Ruozhuo, wasn’t that the fiancé your family arranged for you just now? Why do you two still act like strangers?" Her friend glanced over at Qin Mobai a couple more times, confirming he was the low-profile gentleman of the Qin Family.

"You said it yourself. It’s arranged by the elders, not my own choice." Shen Ruozhuo said mildly, without any discernible emotion.

"He’s here buying a ring; is it a gift for you?"

"Don’t joke around. Aren’t we here to buy a necklace? Have you picked one yet?"

"Come on, let me choose a bit longer!"

Qin Mobai didn’t listen to their conversation further. When the salesperson brought the receipt over, he signed it and took the two bags.

After turning around, he saw Shen Ruozhuo and her friend still in the store. He carried the bags over.

"Miss Shen, this is for you." Qin Mobai handed over the earrings he had just bought.
