After signing with AC Milan, I will be the king of football!-Chapter 565 - 0234 The Legend of 1900 (Please Subscribe)
On the morning of May 21st, the team got up and immediately headed to the airport to fly to Athens.
The new La Liga champions were still the hottest topic in Europe that morning.
Football players and legends from all over Europe were seeking opportunities to show their presence. Even the main players from big clubs, if their fame and strength were a bit less, could only get a small space in the third page of the newspapers.
After about three hours of flight, Real Madrid’s players and their families arrived in Athens.
This trip to Greece was different from last year’s to France.
Greece is an Eastern Orthodox country, where Constantinople is the center, not Rome.
The relationship between the Eastern Orthodox and Roman Catholic churches is complex, involving both confrontation and cooperation, and they have even launched crusades together.
Huang Kaiwen, often praised by the Pope, wasn’t as popular in Athens as he was in Paris, and the Real Madrid bus arrived smoothly at the hotel.
After having too much fun the day before and traveling around, the Real Madrid players were all out of energy.
After a simple lunch in the restaurant, they each returned to their rooms to rest.
Huang Kaiwen and his little princess were woken up from their nap by a phone call a few hours later.
Seeing the caller, Huang Kaiwen picked up the phone and asked, "Ricardo?"
"Kevin, we’ve come to cheer you on," Ricardo said excitedly on the other end of the phone.
"But shouldn’t Milan have a match to play?" Huang Kaiwen asked, rubbing his head as he hadn’t fully woken up yet.
"Yes, but there’s only one league match left. After clinching the championship early, the main players were allowed to come to Athens to watch the match. The last one should be played by the youth team and the substitutes," Ricardo explained.
Huang Kaiwen glanced at the still sleeping little princess. This must have been the little princess’s doing.
The Milan season hadn’t ended yet, and they had already brought the whole team to cheer for him, Huang. Wasn’t this messing around?
"Where are you guys?" Huang Kaiwen asked, getting out of bed.
"Right outside your room," said Ricardo.
Huang Kaiwen: ...
"Wait a moment," Huang Kaiwen said, hanging up the phone and patting the little princess twice on her body.
"Hmm, what is it, dear?" asked the little princess, still groggy with sleep.
"Get up, Ricardo and the others have arrived," Huang Kaiwen said.
"This early?" asked the little princess as she stretched and yawned.
It definitely was the little princess’s doing.
"Get changed, Ricardo is right outside," Huang Kaiwen urged.
"Alright," said the little princess as she walked to the wardrobe, which was filled with various clothing items.
She took her time choosing and then changed into a pale yellow dress.
Huang Kaiwen opened the door, and before he could react, he was hugged by the eldest and the second young master.
"Uncle Kevin, why are you so slow?" the eldest young master asked.
Ricardo smiled and said, "They were insisting on seeing you, so I brought them along."
"Come in," Huang Kaiwen stepped aside from the door, patting the little devils’ heads and asking, "Is it just you two who came?"
"No, dad, mom, grandpa, grandma, and Kevin are all here!" said the second young master Daniel, looking up.
Huang Kaiwen: ...
Busy with the end-of-season matches, he had forgotten that Adriana’s due date was close.
Huang Kaiwen looked at Ricardo.
Ricardo explained, "Kevin was born shortly after we got back from the away game, and Paol didn’t want to disturb you, so he didn’t call you."
Huang Kaiwen: ...
The Yellow Ball King was numb.
Although he knew naming someone after another in Europe signified closeness, he hadn’t even met the third young master yet, Huang Kaiwen felt like he had been severely taken advantage of by that old guy, Paol Maldini.
And it wasn’t easy to find an occasion to return the favor.
Huang Kaiwen was already considering whether to get a pet.
"Uncle Kevin, I’ve improved a lot at football recently. When I grow up a little more, I’m going to play in Madrid," said the eldest young master, holding a soda.
"Real Madrid’s number ten is mine!" protested the second young master, holding a bottle of mineral water.
Seeing the two little guys about to start arguing, Huang Kaiwen quickly stepped between them and asked, "Want to go swimming? The pool here is really nice."
"Sure, I’ll go change," said the eldest young master, turning to run out the door.
The second young master was about to run but was caught and picked up by Huang Kaiwen.
It wouldn’t be good to explain to Mr. and Ms. Paul if he got hurt.
"Uncle Kevin, don’t hold me, I’m grown up now!" the second young master protested while struggling in Huang Kaiwen’s arms.
Huang Kaiwen just pinned him to his waist with his arm, letting the second young master struggle in mid-air.
This kid was still as unlovable as ever.
When they reached the Maldini family’s room, Paol Maldini greeted them with a warm smile, "I really appreciate it, Kevin!"
Huang Kaiwen looked at the child in Adriana’s arms, no longer feeling like making small talk.
He said, "I just brought the two of them over to get their swimming trunks."
"I know, and that’s why I’m sorry to bother you. By the way, do you want to hold Kevin?" Paol Maldini asked.
Huang Kaiwen: ...
"Never mind, there’s plenty of time. I can’t let Chris and the others get anxious," Huang Kaiwen said with a forced laugh.
"I’m not in a hurry, Uncle Kevin," said the second young master.
"Ahem..." Huang Kaiwen quickly grabbed the eldest young master’s collar, dragging the boy out the door.
The second young master reluctantly followed behind, led by Ricardo.
At the pool...
Huang Kaiwen saw Raul playing with his children and went over to say hello, "Why aren’t you resting?"
"They wanted to play in the water," Raul pointed to his two sons.
"That’s perfect, Paol’s sons are with you too, here are Chris and Danny, they can play with Jorge and Ugo," Huang Kaiwen said.
Feeling a little hungry after the nap, he planned to find something to eat.
"I’m the captain, not a daycare director," Raul said, spreading his hands.
Looking after children can be exhausting. Taking care of four kids at once could be more tiring than playing a 120-minute match.
