"What do you mean?" Liliana asked confused about Aisha’s words.

Aisha pointed at Liliana and repeated again "Yes as I said you are the Key Succubus, I assume you still have the connection with Valerian through that ritual of you supernatural people"

Aisha shook at the reminder and couldn’t help but facepalm "Argh! How the fuck could I actually forget that...But wait...If Valerian was actually in danger why couldn’t I sense it" She muttured to herself in confusion.

"I don’t know maybe there’s more to it than we know, But It will be clear where Valerian is If you use that connection you hold" Aisha stated her thoughts and mumbled "Honestly I can’t believe you forgot you hold such connection...If it was me I would never—" she paused and shook her head.

"Anyway try to sense where he is" Aisha urged Liliana with seriousness.

Liliana nodded and began to synchronize with the mark of Lust on her body.

It was the mark she shared with Valerian on their first night together.

Liliana’s eyes turned pink as she searched for the traces of him....and soon she found it...and it was ?

"blocked..!" Liliana muttured in shock "But how only someone of Duke level or higher can block the connection...Don’t tell me?" Liliana trembled as she realised the implication of this conclusion.

"As expected there’s someone more powerful than Mephistopheles behind this whole mess" Aisha mumbled her expression grave.

"What’s a Duke? Is that some kind of nobility among the supernaturals" Victor who was fooling around a while ago asked as he was curious of this term that scared these two powerful women.

Aisha wanted to answer his question but before she could Mariabelle exclaimed "ther’s no way that’s true, There’s only a few Dukes in England and most of them belong to the association under My grandpa"

Victor sweatdropped at the mention of Braham faust "Don’t tell its that old man"

Aisha shook her head "It can’t be him no matter how crazy he is he won’t directly involve himself, As a head of The association he won’t dare to do this, so it’s probably someone who doesn’t care about all this".

"So who?" Victor asked though relieved didn’t forget the main issue.

She searched and found an old dusty pile of newspapers "Here see this" She showed the newspaper and pointed at a specific figure in the article.

Austin Astor, an High ranking member of the association exiled due to breaking the laws of Magus society.

"A Duke?...Are they really that strong?" I asked Mephistopheles with a cufrious look.

Mephisto nodded and explained "As an example you can think of it as an aristrocratic hierarchy, as Noblesse phase is based on that".

She gave a long explanation about the stages and their importance along with the fact that closing the gap becomes much harder as the stage increases.

So apparantly...

A Lord stage user is merely the beginer when it comes to handling their power efficiently. They can destroy a city with their firepower but that’s only brute force, the noblesse phase focus on optimized power and sutained output.

The more stage increase the more optimized the internal system becomes and power cost and drain decreases, every techniques also becomes motre refined.

It’s like how a AAA game needs more 100Gb+ of storage, but with optimization it can decreased to merely 20gb.

But after Duke stage it becomes more harder to close the gap.

"Because of their Domain...A duke has complete controll in that sapce, not even a 1000 Count can do anything in the domain of a Duke" Mephistopheles explained gravely "I am at most at Count level using Isabella’s body and tha’s counting the fact she didn’t even reach the catalyst stage".

Ahh...! This sounds grave alright.

Now what to do?

"What can we do? then I don’t think even if we try to ambush him we won’t succeed" I asked with worry as it didn’t seem possible with her explanation.

"Don’t worry Austin is at most A half duke due to being Exiled by the association his Arcane matrix was crippled...But it still doesn’t help much considering your and my power" She sighed and said "We don’t have any other choice other than to wait for your wives to bring some help...I assume aside from that Saintess and succubus, your other wives are more reliable".

So I need to wait and be resqued by my wives?

"Hmmm...That’s strange" Austin Astor in his study muttured to himself as he thought about the moment Valerian’s almost returned to normal.

"There should be no way for a simple cat to momentarily break a spell cast by A Higher class Demonic spirit" Austin tried to connect the turn of events that happened but couldn’t reach any conclusion.

"Unless Mephistopheles is hiding something from me....But that will be foolish" He mumbled his eyes sharp and releasing a dangerous glint.

"Ahahaha My friend you think too negatively, It must be beacause your daughter’s body isn’t that good enough for Mephistopheles"

Suddenly an omnious presence surrounded the study as a figure manifested, a Crow masked man with an annoying smile plastered on his face. "I think it would have been better if you had used a better vessel to summon that Demonic spirit".

Austin got annoyed as he saw the univited guest in his territory "Why the hell did you enter into my private quarter without my consent? Crow!" He glared at him and continued "And you are not in any status to determine whether I use my Useless daughter or something else for my plans".

Crow stepped back and chuckled lightly, "Ahaha, I was merely suggesting you don’t need to get angry and I did knocked it’s you who didn’t hear!" Crow retorted and sat on the chair facing Austin. "Anyways How’s the plan going, I assume all the leaders of the Supernatural Factions Aren’t aware of our plan yet".

Austin sighed and stated calmly "Yes other than That Old man Braham the others are not aware as they are busy with preparing for the grand marriage...Not knowing that the groom is already in our control" He smirked at the end as he continued "When they finally noticed what’s wrong Their Dear groom will already become the reason that breaks the peace of this world".

"Kekekeke! As expected of a Crazy Mage...But what about the Human Spy that we caught, where did he come from did you find out?" Crow laughed creepily but remembered something and asked.

Austin paused at the reminder and revealed with a grave look "Unfortunately I couldn’t find anything from him, that spy was weak but professional as he erased his own memories to avoid spilling anything out....But I presume it was from those hidden powers as no major supernatural factions other than mages and the church"

Austin reassured himself by the information as those minor hidden powers knowing anything doesn’t change a thing.

"Austin...Are you sure about that what if it was the Vampires, You know they have the greates influence in the human world after witches and Demons" Crow asked not convinced yet as his gut said that something is missing.

But Austin shook his head "I know those bloodsuckers they won’t use humans for something important like Spying and information gathering".

Crow wanted to retort but a telepathic message came to him, making him stood up in hurry "ah shoot I have a urgent mission to complete, I’ll leave but Austin" Crow glared at Austin with a serious look "Don’t mess up this Plan or else Azazel will not leave you Alive...Or dead".

Crow left swiftly after saying those words, But Austin didn’t pay any heed to it.

"What do you mean he can’t meet us now, Tell him that Eleanor Von Karnstein is here" Eleanor said to the gatekeeper in annoyance.

But Unfortuantely the gatekeeper didn’t budge, "Mam It’s the Headquarters of Bloodhound Corps and you need an official appointment to meet our Commander" The gatekeeper explained as respectfully as he could but it made Eleanor more angry.

"What do you mean I need appointment don’t you know I am—" Eleanor wanted to argue more but Alicia interjected "Here Is that enough" She showed a golden metal with the insignia of an Inverted Dragon.

The gatekeepr upon seeing the medal immediately stepped aside and bowed respectfully "Welcome Lady Alicia Walpurgis!" The gaurd respectfully greeted her.

This made Eleanor speechless and question "Why is he treating you so differently?"

Alicia merely smirked and entered through the gate opened by the gatekeeper.

Eleanor stood frozen untill Iris behind her pushed her inside "Don’t stay dazed forever, Get going already".
