Almighty Father System-Chapter 142: Revenge Begins.

Leo finished the session inside the salon and told Dylan to come and meet him the next day in the office. The latter agreed because he knew that Leo was not the person who would be backing off.

The young man then headed back to the school to pick up Lily. He didn't wait to find out about Pamela Ray, because he had other sources to locate her, and not lose his temper before his daughter. Lily was very sensitive about his mood swings and he didn't wish to make her perceive him as a violent man.

The little girl was lying down in the backseat with her head in his lap. She asked in her sweet voice, "Baba, can we make a vase today?"

Leo raised his brow and asked, "Why do you wish to make a vase all of a sudden, my love?"

Lily said, "When you used to stream pottery regularly, it was so nice, you used to smile more, but now, you have become so.. Unsmiling."

Leo smiled and nodded as he said, "We will make one as soon as you finish your homework."

The two of them talked, and Leo almost forgot about the matter involving Pamela Ray. He realized that his daughter could always say something that would divert his attention completely. The young man took a deep breath, and realized that his daughter was one of the most clever conversationalists in his life.

They reached the office building and after Lily got out of the car, she skipped inside the building greeting everyone with a smile and skipping from one place to the other while Leo followed her with a small pink bag in his hand.

They reached the top floor, and Leo knocked on his office door, Snow replied, "Come in."

Leo pushed open the door, and Lily fluttered inside as she said, "Ma, your princess has returned!"

Leo was left between laughter and tears at her antic, while Snow and Clara chuckled. Lily realized that there was a fourth person inside the office and she quickly transitioned into a sophisticated person, and greeted Clara with a bow as she said, "Good afternoon."

Clara smiled brightly and said, "Good afternoon to you as well, Young Miss."

Lily then sat down beside her mother as if she was the most obedient child in the universe. Leo rolled his eyes and then he heard Clara saying, "Well, I will take the job, thank you."

Snow nodded to her and Leo said, "I will also arrange an assistant for you. He happens to be a victim of the Primal family as well."

The two ladies were surprised and Leo looked at Lily before he said, "Let us discuss that later, for now, I am calling lunch."

Lily raised her hand and said softly, "Char Siu Ramen."

Leo nodded and then he asked Zeenat and Kyle to grab lunch as well, before he called the cafeteria to deliver the food in the office directly.

After the meal, Clara left the office with her appointment letter and a monthly advanced salary. While the family of three returned home. Lily entered the mansion, greeted Anastasia, before she picked up Momo and took the cat to the washroom.

Snow sat down on the couch and said, "Now, out with it."

Leo chuckled and narrated what he heard from Dylan and asked, "What are the chances that he is lying?"

The young man shook his head and said, "He was willing to risk it all and brage inside the school to see his son. This much is enough to convince me that he was not lying. But yes, it would be foolish of me to trust someone I just met. I have asked the Pinnacle Security to investigate the truth of this matter. I will ruin the people who did this."

Then he went to his room and took a shower. Anastasia sighed and said, "You need to calm down his rage. If he kept getting agitated like this, he might lose sight of what he wanted to be."

Snow nodded but then she said, "It wouldn't be that easy for him to lose sight of what he wants to be. Don't worry."

She had complete trust in what Leo wanted to do. She had known him long enough and close enough to know what he would do and how he would do it. The reason she loved him was because even if he was told to act like something that he was not, he would never forget what he really was.

She said, "I remember the first time I met him in college, and the stoic nature he showed was surprising for me. He treated everyone as a normal human, and not according to their social standing. Even when the world was fawning over me, and my identity, he was only treating me like I was some girl next door.

He would not become a bloodthirsty demon and even if he does, it would be worth it because those people deserve his rage."

Anastasia shook her head and sighed as she said, "I cannot debate on this with you. I just hope that you all stay happy and healthy."

Lily rushed out of her room with the cat in her hands and said, "Grandma, I also wish that you stay happy, healthy and wealthy."

Anastasia chuckled and embraced her little star before Snow asked, "Why did you say wealthy?"

Lily replied, "So that I could buy a cat tree for Momo."

Snow rolled her eyes and wanted to scold her, but Anastasia said, "Well, then if you call me Nana, I will get you a nice big cat gym? How about that?"

Lily, the little goblin raised her head with eyes shining with golden hue and spoke in a candy-like sweet tone, "I love you, Nana."

Anastasia took a deep breath and picked up her little darling as she said, "We will go out now."

Lily embraced her and said, "Bye Ma."

Snow was left speechless as she watched the old and young leave the house chatting and chuckling. Leo came out of the room, and found two people missing, as he asked, "What happened?"

Snow narrated what happened and said, "Now, look at your daughter. She is a goblin."

Leo chuckled and walked up to her as he pulled her in his embrace and said, "If she is a goblin, then I want another one like her."

Snow shook her head with a blush and said, "No, you will not be getting a daughter this time. I have to fight this little tyke for your attention, imagine if I have another daughter? Hell no!"

Leo chuckled as he brushed the tip of her nose and asked, "Who is gonna stop that?"

Snow chuckled and said, "The god of destiny who is watching you acting all smug right now, as he thinks if the chandelier above shall put a full stop on the story or not."

Leo stood up straight and he shivered and he said, "The god of destiny had been kind to me, but well, yes, I should not ask for more than what I have already."

Snow chuckled and said, "You can ask for a son, I would love him."

Leo snorted and said, "You can have a son and you can love him."

Snow raised her brow and asked, "Why are you so against Boy child?"

The young man replied, "Do you remember the first time Carole approached you?"

Snow nodded and Leo reminded her, "How he almost killed someone, remember that?"

Snow nodded and asked, "What is the connection?"

Leo replied, "A son can get spoiled and then act like a rowdy, bringing shame to the family name. However, while I know I am being critical, you have to understand that I don't want to push you through what you have already been once.

I may not have been there for you when Lily was coming, but now I know what you have been through, so please don't bring this up all alone."

Snow smiled and said, "Fine. Take some rest."

The young man sighed and leaned back on his seat as he watched the movies on his mobile. After a few minutes, he said, "Love, I am going to the clay room."

Snow nodded and then she watched him kiss her softly as he stood up to leave. She knew that he was hiding things under his smile like always, but she also knew that he was affected after meeting Dylan Rhodes, however, revenge takes time and he would get better.

Leo stood inside the clay room, and began to knead a big portion of his stoneware, and he was doing it with great finesse. The young man took a deep breath and he mumbled, "The time will come when I will burst your bubbles, and you, Anthony, just wait and watch."
