Almighty Father System-Chapter 196: Gaining On.

The night ended on the high note for the family, in the morning, Leo came to the office and he was smiling because he just received a call from the Wagoner headquarters, they have decided to take legal actions against Cosmo Tyro. The reason because Leo dug up the dirt to bury the man six feet under.

Snow saw him and chuckled as she said, "You know, I never really thought of it this way but you really are cute."

Leo rolled his eyes at her and said, "This is the seventh time since the morning. Can you stop it already."

The young lady chuckled, as she asked, "Well, Marian was asking about our wedding date, what do you think?"

Leo smiled and replied, "I will tell you guys soon, don’t worry. Also, do you want a closed ceremony or shall I invite a hub-hub?"

Snow waved her hand and said, "Just a few nears and dears are enough."

Leo nodded in agreement and they reached the top floor, and headed to their own officers. The young man took his seat and then turned on his computer, when his phone rang once again. He answered the call and asked, "Hello."

From the other side, a voice rang, "Hello, Am I talking to Mister Cardinal?"

Leo replied in positive and asked, "Who might you be?"

The young man on the other side said, "Good morning to you, Sir. My name is Atlas Druum. I am the CEO of Khyber Enterprises and I was told to contact you by the general manager of the Wagoner Motors Company."

Leo raised his brow and asked, "Regarding what?"

Atlas Druum said, "Sir, I am aware that Khyber Enterprises were behind the Kraven Enterprises in the contention of the tender. However, Manager Carson said that it was because of your intervention that we got a chance to work with Wagoner. So, I thought it is only appropriate that I congratulate you in person."

Leo shook his head and replied, "I didn’t do anything for the sake of fairness, Mister Druum, I am only doing this to satisfy myself and not to have some loser cause a blunder to harm my money flow. So, please don’t worry, you should focus on the completion of the tender, because from what I have heard, it is not going to be easy."

Atlas Druum was shocked, he was young but still older than Leo, so initially he thought that the young man must have done this to benefit from him, but that didn’t seem to be the case. The latter was embarrassed and after a thought he said, "Well, Mister Cardinal, it might be the conspiracy of the stars, I saw how you have been using your powers to help the needy, if you don’t mind, I would also like to contribute in that initiative."

Leo wanted to disconnect the call, but then he said, "My assistant would be calling you with the information that you need to make a donation. I am not the one managing the charity fund. Though, thank you for your generosity, Mister Druum. We need more people like you."

Atlas Druum smiled and said, "You praise me too much, Mister Cardinal."

The call was disconnected and then Leo thought of something and connected to Snow on the intercom between their offices and he asked, "Snow, shall I appoint June to be my assistant or do you have a capable guy?"

Snow replied, "I took the best newbie from the Sales team to handle my stuff. You can take June, she is a nice and meticulous girl."

Leo nodded and then he called the Human Resources department and told them to mediate with June and increase her payment scale as well. The HR department got to work and within an hour, June had accepted the new terms and came over to report to him. Leo nodded and gave her the first task, "June, I need you to contact the CEO of Khyber Enterprises, Mister Druum, and then give him the details of the donation accounts from the Cardinal Foundation."

June nodded and said, "I will get it done now, Sir."

Leo then went back to write down the new project that he had in mind. This was something that he had spent money to buy from the system. It was not something that he could place inside a storage disk and share with the research department. They would not like it, as he was getting immersed in his coding, June connected to his intercom and she said, "Sir, Miss Hibical wants to meet you."

Leo raised his head and said, "Yeah, I was starting to feel like I am the only one here."

June smiled and then she led the latter over to the office. Percie entered inside and asked, "Sir, the construction of the headquarters have begun."

Leo raised his brow and asked, "When did we get the space for that?"

Percie chuckled and said, "Yes, we do."

Jimmy Shelby was sitting inside his house, these days he had been occupied by taking care of his family, and cooperating with the members of the investigation team. They have discovered that his father, Old Man Shelby was indeed a spy sent by the Swastika Nation, however, they couldn’t find any clue against the man.

So, in order to apprehend the old man and his wife, they charged him with sexual molestation and abuse. These charges were serious and to prove them true, Jimmy and the old man were put through polygraphs and various other people stepped up following Jimmy’s display of courage.

Alina was sitting before him, they have just put their son to sleep, and she asked, "What did Leo do to make you give up everything like this?"

Jimmy put up a bitter smile and said, "That demon had one of his lackies locate you and junior. Then he asked them to target you and if I was to not agree, they would have killed you."

Alina was shocked, this was the first time she came to know this. Her face was drenched with blood. Jimmy sighed and said, "He has changed completely. In his heart the entire world is just a mean to make his daughter and wife happy. He does not care about anyone else but them, only."

Alina looked at Jimmy and asked, "Can we run?"

Jimmy shook his head and said, "The place is being watched by his people. He promised to give us protection till the kid grows up, and money and a house also. Tomorrow, when the old man is sentenced we would leave this place."

Alina held her head and asked, "How can you trust him? What if he..."

She had yet to finish her words when the door of their apartment was knocked. The couple sat up straight and Jimmy stood up to check who it was. He picked up a small knife from the table and Alina followed him with her steps wobbling a little.

Looking outside from the magic eye hole, Jimmy found Axel. He opened the gate and asked, "What is it?"

Axel said, "Let me in, we have something to discuss."

Jimmy was not sure, and he could sense that the grip of Alina’s palms around his right hand was growing tighter. Axel sighed and said, "Luger family has sent someone to check what is going on here, you need to move tonight. The lawyer will handle everything about that dog. Here, take this and pick a location. Jimmy was shocked and he saw the dossier offered by Axel. The latter saw his hesitation and handed him the dossier as he said, "Asshole, for the thing that you have done, if he wanted to kill you, you would have died the first day he met you again. His rage for you is still lower than the humanity he has for your child. Otherwise, none of you two are worth enough to make Leo Cardinal spare you. Select a location, and get going, we have other things to do."

That said, Axel turned around and left the place. He didn’t care about what the two of them did, had it not been for Leo’s kindness, the guards would have spilled their guts and fed them to dogs.

Leo received the notification from the guards about the progression of the case against Old Man Shelby, and he was going to pick up Lily when Elvin called, and said, "Yo, come over, I found the next target."

Leo frowned and said, "I have yet to settle Kraven."

Elvin chuckled and said, "This guy is the secret keeper, take him down, the rest will fall."

Leo raised his brow and said, "Clean the place, I will bring Lily over."

Elvin replied, "You got it. Come soon."

Leo shook his head, wondering what Elvin was up to. This guy had been living in shadows for quite too long, Leo thought his mind was stuck in his young adult phase. Speculating the scene before him, he parked the car and walked up to pick Lily.
