Alpha's Lost Luna Returns With His Twins-Chapter 323-Crazy Creature In Charge Of Water
Iris:
I slashed the dagger across her back.
She screeched and pulled away.
That was when I noticed Luca suddenly waking up from a nightmare. He turned towards her.
Eira turned around to look at me. She growled at me and then came at me.
This time, when I tried to move the dagger, she held my hand and punched me across the face, making it harder for me to keep my balance.
She was now holding onto me very hard.
Then it happened.
Luca was finally free from her grasp.
"Let her go," he screamed with a roar, pushing through the water and tackling her.
All three of us went under.
This time, Luca held her down.
I kicked upward, breaking the surface, coughing as I spun around to see them.
They surfaced a second later, locked together.
Luca’s hands were around her shoulders, forcing her back. She clawed at him, her nails scraping across his chest.
"I will never belong to you. I am not a slave to you," Luca growled. His voice was clear to her, and I noticed anger rush through her.
"You think you have the power to control me?" she asked him, looking him straight in the eye.
I was starting to realize how much Kash had sacrificed for me.
Not only had he spent years making himself look like the villain, but he had also picked a fight, for my sake, with a monster who had left her territory and come all this way just for him.
One thing did bring me relief. Kash was not here.
If she attacked him, my heart would shatter.
But right now, Luca needed me.
It was clear he was struggling.
"Well, I broke free from your hypnotism," he grunted at her, making her let out a loud cackle.
"You know, he did too," she mumbled, mentioning Kash.
My fists clenched tightly.
"But look, I’m here to collect him again. Even if not directly, I will still do it." she snickered.
"And if I have to, I will do it by killing his mate," she continued.
As she spoke, I began searching for the dagger in the water.
Because at this point, the only thing we needed was more power."Not me, nor Kash. No one will let you harm Iris. You hear me?" he said, clenching his jaw.
As he tried to push her down into the water, she grunted and shoved him back.
His hands slipped from her shoulders, and he almost landed beside me.
I helped him stand up, watching her step out of the water and glare at us angrily.
I had managed to hold the dagger again. I moved beside him, gripping the dagger with both my hands.
Together we advanced at her. She looked between us, and then a very creepy smile crept across her lips.
"Oh, you stupid creatures, always thinking you have the power," she said with a grunt of disappointment, shaking her head.
She noticed the dagger in my hand, and she knew that Luca was walking toward her to attack, but it seemed like she was not afraid of anything in that moment.
And that was the craziest thing.
There was nothing she seemed to fear. Absolutely nothing.
The only time I saw any emotion in her eyes was whenever Kash was mentioned.
And that made me so fucking jealous.
Suddenly, the river exploded.
A surge of force blasted outward from her body. It pushed Luca away from her, and I was pushed backward as well.
Then the water crashed into us. I felt myself being lifted and thrown hard against the surface.
I skidded backward, the dagger flying from my hand and going completely missing.
When I resurfaced again, I could barely see.
"Luca, where are you?" I shouted, trying to spot him.
Then I saw him floating several feet away from me.
I stood upright in the water, not being swayed, dragged, or pushed around.
Her hair flowed around her like she was the queen of the water, and the water seemed to hold her upright, watching her beautiful existence.
She lifted one hand, and Luca’s body went still in the water.
Then he sank when she dropped her hand.
It was as if she was making me see that the water was openly listening to her commands now.
Luca’s body sank, and my heart stopped.I noticed he was no longer struggling.
Nor was he fighting. He just seemed to be listening to the water and her commands, and not in a good way.
He was letting himself drown.
Fear crawled up my throat.
"Luca!" I screamed, tears blurring my vision.
He must have passed out or hit his head somewhere.
That was not good because now he could not even shift to fight her.
I tried to move toward him, but the water kept thickening around my legs, holding me back.
Eira started to laugh at our condition, making me grow more anxious.
"I’m the queen of the water for a reason," she screamed, this time more angrily, as if she was trying to convince herself more than anyone else.
I could see fingers and little hands made of water grabbing onto my legs.
"No, what are you doing to him?" I screamed at her.
She looked at me and took a deep breath.
"I have lost the power over the blue river. I am losing my command. I took a huge step and left my land to travel through the water for revenge. I have nothing to lose," she commented in her soft, creepy tone.
"And I realized that revenge is not the only thing I want. I want Kash too. So how about I kill you? That would be my revenge, and then I have him. That would be my treat," she muttered, her eyes narrowing at me.
"You think after hurting me you will have him?" I asked her in shock.
She seemed like a powerful creature, so how could she be so dumb?
And my simple question made her glare at me more angrily than ever.
She then walked toward me slowly, and the river steadied beneath her.
