Amber Sword-Chapter 631: Act 64 King of the Underground (15) (1st update) (Please support, thank you all for your support)_2
He knew this feeling was just an illusion. Compared to the Golden Stage, the power of elements was like an attribute trigger, uncontrollable.
But now, this attribute had clearly been triggered.
Everyone, including the youngsters, sensed something was wrong. They witnessed the enormous, two-story-high beast kneel before Brand, its limbs and jaw touching the ground - as if a subject was submitting to an emperor.
It had no choice but to submit because the immense strength left it immobile.
And the young man stood still, gazing at the beast, as if calmly accepting such a submission.
Everyone was stunned by this scene. Kulan was even more shocked - what kind of element was this? Dominance?
"Medisha, go," Brand said softly. Unlike everyone else, he only felt an incredibly powerful force roaring in his heart, screaming to dominate everything, like a terrifying beast ready to break out at any moment.
He even had the illusion that by simply raising his hand, the world would crumble.
It felt like a god’s power.
Then the Silver Elf Princess moved, the silver long shuttle in her hand turning into a silver line extending forward, its tip sparkling with the cold light of death.
Time seemed to stretch with this strike. Everyone saw the simple silver line arc half a circle through the duel arena, then slowly approach the Hellhound from the side.
As long as it moved forward, it could pierce through the three enormous heads of the demon in one strike.
But at the last moment, under the oppressive breath of imminent death, the hound finally broke free from Brand’s elemental power. It lifted its head with all its strength and leaped back, narrowly avoiding the lethal strike.
Unfortunately, a strange thought flashed through Brand’s mind; he felt as if the entire world were under his control. With a mere intention, he forcibly pulled the giant beast back. With a ’hiss’ sound, Medisha’s small body raised the spear, skewer the three enormous heads, and then flung the unlucky Hellhound forward.
The corpse landed in the sand with a thunderous crash.
Killed instantly.
The youths, including Maher, were all dumbfounded.
Kulan nearly believed he heard his own jaw hit the floor; the old man subconsciously touched his chin to confirm that the part was still on his body.
Spatial element, he was beyond shaken.
"Is that..." Joka felt like his throat was caught, the latter half of his sentence stuck in his stomach. But no one mocked him; they all felt the same.
Brand himself noticed it too, he looked at his hand, a bit unsure. Whether it was space lockdown or time halt, it was already infinitely close to the power of existence.
But as he was in shock, Medisha had already returned to his side: "My Lord?" she asked in surprise, the girl who had struck earlier, felt the intense sensation more than anyone.
But Brand waved his hand, still uncertain. At that moment, a booming voice echoed from above the duel arena:
"Mortal, will you continue the challenge?"
"Of course," the young man responded, with a mix of inexplicable excitement and some lingering uncertainty.
Evaryan soon entered the arena.
"This time, it’s my turn," Brand said, feeling his control over the elements fading with the peak period passing. He had to experiment quickly to confirm his doubts.
Medisha watched him, guessing his intention, and nodded slightly.
Brand placed down his longsword and advanced toward the Gray Dwarf Lord.
The cold aura once again overwhelmed the opponent.
Evaryan paused, lightly humming. The Gray Dwarf discarded his pretentious, nonchalant posture used to intimidate his opponent, and the twinkle in his eyes under the barbarian helmet grew intense. He took the warhammer from his shoulder, held it with both hands, and lowered his center of gravity into a combat stance.
Even Joka could see it this time - it was the instinctual wariness that a beast displayed when facing danger —
Could the young man really be that terrifying?
He focused on Brand, struggling to imagine that the easygoing young man he had interacted with previously could possess such a dangerous aura that even a dwarf, like a steel fortress, would get tense from just a glance.
Maybe he was strong, but he was so young! Joka recalled his own experiences, remembering that Brand’s responses used to be no different from those of the guard team in the Mining Area. He thought their strength should be similar.
Though that seemed impressive to the young boy.
But he soon realized he was utterly wrong, as Brand had already struck. Seizing the last opportunity, the young man made a charge.
In the eyes of others, it was incredibly fast — so fast it was unbelievable. They couldn’t even track Brand’s movement; they only saw his figure vanish and reappear as if through teleportation, already in front of Evaryan.
Space left rippling waves behind him —
The Gray Dwarf paused, but with rich battle experience, he roared and raised his warhammer to block. But his motion froze at that moment; Brand’s blade was both real and unreal, as if it phased through his defense, through the gap between his helmet and chest armor, piercing his throat.
The dwarf’s eyes widened, only managing a slight ’grrk’ sound.
Brand already stopped before him like a shadow, one hand pressing on the warhammer, his right hand pulling back his blade, leaving a trail of blood, then the heavy fortress crashed down. Dark blood slowly spread beneath the dwarf’s body.
