The gale cut across the cliffs like knives.

Once they went deep into the Ancient Land Bridge, the wind that passed through the canyon grew stronger; strangely, the wind didn't disperse the fog, but instead, the White Mist often appeared with the gale, swallowing clouds and exhaling mist, kicking up sand and stones, causing the visibility in the canyon to become extremely low.

On one hand, this situation allowed Brand and his companions to evade Andesa's pursuit, but on the other hand, it made the trek through the canyon even more challenging.

Brand placed his hand on a protruding rock, squinting against the strong wind, and turned around to extend a hand to Qian climbing up below.

He helped Qian onto the platform, followed by Faina, and on the other side, with the help of Medphis, Veronica also climbed up.

Finally, Brand climbed up against the wind.

"Ahead is the legendary Storm Circle, it's said no one can cross that wall of raging winds," Veronica said, her hand resting on her Green Sky, in the wind.

She turned back, her jade eyes looking at Brand, "What do you plan to do, little one?" 𝐟𝐫𝕖𝗲𝘄𝚎𝗯𝕟𝐨𝕧𝐞𝚕.𝕔𝕠𝐦

The Cruz people's Female War God still appeared weak, but she seemed to be in good spirits.

Brand climbed onto the platform, where the canyon split into two. On the other side of the platform was an unfathomable gorge; the black granite was broken in the middle with a smooth and flat cross-section, as if a giant crevice had opened up in the Earth.

The gale continued tirelessly along the direction of the fissure, weaving white lines in the air, like a sea current hanging in midair, always moving in one direction.

The Holy Multi-Headed Dragon's nest was below—

The magnificent scene left Brand speechless for a moment before he turned back to reply, "The way to pass through the Storm Circle is underground. For nearly a century, the Druids have invested countless resources here, trying to find that passage."

"Did they find it?"

Brand shook his head.

"So you know?" Veronica looked up at him and asked.

"I saw a record in an ancient document, it should be somewhere near here." Ancient documents tended to be his go-to excuse, and Brand was developing a tendency to make it a plausible fact; he glanced around, noting that the entrance to the underground passage was below this bottomless gorge, but getting down wouldn't be easy.

At this point, Brand noticed Qian looking at her wrist with a strange expression.

He immediately felt awkward, subconsciously touching the bite marks on his wrist; but he truly didn't know how to explain it—or rather, wasn't that some kind of hand-kissing ritual?

"Damn it, so a life payment can't be deducted automatically!"

Qian waking up at such a convenient time was problematic, leaving Brand with a headache as he turned to look at Medphis. The damn Cross-dressing Vampire just turned his face away.

"Um... about going down from here," Brand awkwardly changed the subject, "it seems a bit difficult, I'm not sure if there's a path down."

"Going down from here?"

This was the first time the noble daughter of the Cruz people spoke since waking up. She seemed to have snapped out of her gloom, furrowing her brows and raising her eyebrows high.

Faina glanced at the pitch-black abyss below, her face slightly pale.

"That's... that's too far-fetched, isn't it!?"

"For a pampered, weak, and incompetent young lady, it indeed is."

Medphis replied with an unexpectedly quick speed.

He looked expressionlessly at Faina, who gazed at him with an incredulous expression, "So please don't question the master's decisions lightly—"

"You!"

"Alright, Faina." Veronica interrupted them, "Since an ancient document mentions that passage, it means there might be a way down. Let's try to find it."

"I'm sorry, there's no such ancient document!"

Brand thought to himself sarcastically.

But he did think of a possibility; back then, the player who entered the Trade Wind Ring had less than half his current strength, clearly unable to climb down the cliff, which means there really is a path somewhere on this cliff.

But before that, Brand drew a card from the Travel Mage System's deck into his hand—it was the Holy Sword.

This made him frown; he originally hoped for the Silver Foal, so he could bring everyone down the valley with just three trips. Unfortunately, things didn't go as planned.
