Chapter 573: Chapter 289: Confrontation with the Illuminati

Nisen and the others had followed David for so long that they could tell he had made some gains on this trip, so as soon as they got in the car, they asked with anticipation, “What’s the situation, Chief?”

“Jobs indeed participated in the development of Bitcoin…”

Upon hearing this, the eyes of the three, Nisen Simmons Bucky, lit up. They had been searching for Satoshi Nakamoto for many days now, and finally, there seemed to be a breakthrough!

“So does that mean he is Satoshi Nakamoto?”

Simmons asked eagerly.

“To be exact, he is a part of Satoshi Nakamoto because we can now confirm that Satoshi Nakamoto does not refer to a single person but an organization.”

“What organization?”

“The Illuminati.”

Since these three were his most trusted confidants, he saw no need to keep anything hidden from them.

“The Illuminati!”

The three went from curiosity to shock.

Ever since the word of Satoshi Nakamoto emerged in 2008, it has sparked countless speculations about his identity, but to this day, no one knows who this person is, nor has any evidence suggested any involvement between him and the Illuminati.

Therefore, hearing what David had to say naturally startled the three.

“The Federal Reserve, controlled by Freemasonry, is a hen that lays golden eggs, and the Illuminati have long been covetous of it. That’s why they created Bitcoin as a new currency.”

David’s words seemed to make the three, still in shock, suddenly realize the bigger picture.

The Federal Reserve truly was a hen that laid golden eggs, and not just the Illuminati, but any power would covet it; it’s a pity, though, that this institution is tightly controlled by the Freemasonry Group, beyond the reach of anyone else.

Creating Bitcoin was, indeed, a way for the Illuminati to break new ground.

Although, as of now, the value of Bitcoin far surpasses that of the Federal Reserve, the global frenzy over this currency has allowed the Illuminati to fill their coffers and gain a certain amount of say in financial matters.

“If Satoshi Nakamoto represents the Illuminati, then we’re in a bit of trouble…”

Nisen Simmons Bucky found themselves in a difficult position.

Many within Freemasonry already resented them, and now they were set to clash with the Illuminati, potentially facing enemies on all sides.

“We’ve got to face the trouble anyway, since you’re the one who chose this path, idol.”

Looking at David’s eyes, Nisen felt a twinge of guilt inside.

It was his idea to divert public attention by investigating Satoshi Nakamoto, and now they were stuck between a rock and a hard place. Illuminati or not, they had no choice but to face it head-on.

“Just kidding.”

David laughed and patted Nisen on the shoulder, then added, “The Illuminati may be powerful, but the identity of Satoshi Nakamoto is actually their Achilles’ heel. If they don’t want the currency they’ve worked so hard to establish to crumble, they’ll think twice.”

The Federal Reserve and Bitcoin are vastly different.

The former, as the issuer of the US Dollar, will remain unshaken unless America itself falls; no matter what happens, it could never affect this financial behemoth.

Bitcoin, however, is entirely different. After all, it’s a currency forged out of thin air, with its core principle being beyond any control.

But if it were exposed that the currency is actually controlled by the Illuminati, market confidence would undoubtedly collapse, and the bubble expanded by this currency would likely burst.

The elite of the Illuminati, who are the brightest minds in the world, will surely make a choice regarding this, the archbishop firmly believed.

Back at Apple Inc.’s office, after David’s departure, Rowson and the others remained silent and worried.

After a long pause, Jefferson broke the silence, “He’s dug all the way to us; this is beyond our control now. I think we should report it.”

Seeing the others still silent, he didn’t waste any more words and took out his cell phone, looked up a number, hesitated for about thirty seconds, and finally pressed the call button.

The European Continent, Vatican.

On the highlands to the northwest, a church stood tall, St. Peter’s Basilica, the heart of the church, majestic and imposing.

Its exterior was predominantly white, complemented by delicate golden ornaments, which glittered under the sunlight, and its dome soared high into the clouds, with sculptures that seemed to come to life.

On the west side of the church, a man dressed in white approached the door of a room. After knocking and receiving a response, he pushed the door open and entered.

Inside, an elderly man in a red robe with a cross-marked hat was sitting at a desk working. He looked up slightly as the man entered.

“Archbishop Augustine, a member from America, Mr. Jefferson, has an urgent matter to discuss with you.”

Identified as Augustine, the archbishop took over the phone. “This is Augustine.”

“Archbishop Augustine, we have a problem. David from the IRS has come to us.”

The words transmitted from the phone caused Augustine’s eyebrows to raise. He queried, “What about you? Have you been exposed?”

“It’s precisely because we’ve been exposed that I’m calling you. Moreover, he knows not only about the three of us and Mr. Jobs’ involvement in developing Bitcoin but also that Satoshi Nakamoto represents our Illuminati.”

Augustine’s face turned grim as he continued to inquire, “What does he want?”

“He says he wants to talk with the higher-ups of our Illuminati, but it’s likely just a ploy to extort money.”

“Understood, wait for my call.”

After hanging up, Augustine looked up and directed the standing man, “Notify Sandy and Croft, the archbishops, to come here.”
