Chapter 308 - 274 Sawada Playing Aladdin part 2
With a glass of water in hand and his excitement reignited, Sawada settled back into his chair, ready to continue Aladdin's adventure. The game loaded back to the flying carpet scene's conclusion, where Aladdin, Abu, and the magic carpet soared out of the Cave of Wonders, escaping the blazing magma. As the dust settled, the next cutscene played, showing Aladdin and Abu approaching the old man waiting outside the cave—Jafar in disguise.

"You did well, boy," Jafar sneered. "Now, hand me the magic lamp."
Sawada watched as Aladdin hesitated. "Don't trust him, dude..." he muttered under his breath. But the game offered no choice. Aladdin handed over the lamp.
The moment the lamp left Aladdin's hands, Jafar let out a sinister laugh. "Foolish street rat! You served your purpose. Now rot in the darkness!"
With a wave of his staff, Jafar caused the cave entrance to collapse again. The screen shook violently as Aladdin and Abu fell back into the cave, trapped once more. Sawada groaned.
"Oh, come on! You just escaped!"
As the dust settled, another cutscene played. Aladdin and Abu sat in the rubble, dejected. But then, Abu's eyes sparkled with mischief. He held up the lamp he had stolen back from Jafar at the last second.
"No way! Abu, you legend!" Sawada laughed.
In the next scene, Aladdin examined the lamp, now covered in dust and dirt. He wiped it with his sleeve, rubbing it three times. The screen flashed white.
Suddenly, the screen transitioned to an otherworldly setting—a dreamlike stage filled with floating clouds, twisted platforms, and shimmering golden structures. A booming voice echoed.
"YOOOOOO!" Genie shouted in text as he burst from the lamp in pixelated grandeur. "Who disturbs my slumber?! Oh... it's you. What's up, Al?" His humorous tone contrasted with the surreal surroundings.
""What the hell?! A talking blue guy?!"" Sawada gasped.
Genie explained that Aladdin is his new master but before doing so, he invited Aladdin and Abu inside his lamp, transporting them to an otherworldly dimension filled with floating clouds and surreal landscapes. This time the game transitioned into a new stage. The entire level was bizarre, filled with floating platforms, bouncing clouds, and magical enemies like flying teapots and dancing hats.
The gameplay mechanics shifted dramatically. Gravity felt lighter, and platforms wobbled unpredictably. Abu could bounce on clouds to reach higher areas, while Aladdin had to navigate moving rings and disappearing platforms.
"Man, this is trippy," Sawada muttered. "But I kinda love it."
Halfway through the stage, the platforming became more challenging. Genie's hand would occasionally appear, snapping its fingers to create or remove platforms. Sawada gritted his teeth as he barely made a jump over a disappearing cloud.
After several retries, he reached a massive spinning platform where Genie appeared again. This time, he offered a mini-game where Sawada had to guess which cup the prize was under. Winning granted him an extra life.
"Nice! I needed that!" Sawada cheered.
As the stage neared its end, the platforming intensified with shifting gravity mechanics, and Genie provided occasional commentary, breaking the fourth wall with jokes about how long Sawada had been playing.
When he finally cleared the stage, Sawada leaned back, exhausted but exhilarated. "Man... this game just keeps getting better. I wonder what's next."
Then the genie shows at the end of stages and asks if he has any wish! , then Aladdin wishes to be able to escape the Cave of wonder! Genie grinned and quickly fulfilled his wish!
The 8-bit cutscene following the dreamy stage showed Aladdin, Abu, and the magic carpet flying back toward Agrabah with Help of Genie. But Abu, restless as always, couldn't sit still. He stumbled and tumbled off the carpet, falling into the desert below.
Aladdin stopped the carpet immediately and descended to the desert floor. Searching frantically, he found no sign of Abu. Instead, he noticed faint tracks leading to the entrance of an ancient pyramid, half-buried in sand.
Without hesitation, Aladdin ventured inside. Then the gameplay started again. The pyramid was filled with traps—spikes, falling rocks, and shifting sand that slowed his movement. After a tense series of platforming challenges, Aladdin finally found Abu. The little monkey was fixated on a sword embedded in an ornate hilt.
The game text displayed: "Sword of Rhazenka."
Genie gasped. "Sword of Rhazenka?! But... Rhazenka is imprisoned in the Spirit Realm!"
Sawada leaned forward, eyes wide. "Rhazenka ? Is that the name of Another genie? And he prisoned? and Spirit Realm Interesting..."
Aladdin, curious but cautious, refrained from questioning Genie further. He approached the sword and pulled it from the hilt. A notification flashed on the screen: "Sword of Rhazenka obtained!"
The game explained the sword's abilities: Holding the X button generated a defensive barrier of sand, while holding Up and X simultaneously released a ranged Sand Slash. Each ability had a 30-second cooldown.
"Hell yeah!" Sawada grinned. "This is awesome."
As they left the pyramid, Genie's text reappeared. "Be careful, Al... Rhazenka may be trapped in the Spirit Realm, but if he ever escapes, he'll come looking for that sword."
The plot continued with Genie asking what is another Aladdin wish.
"So, what will it be, Al?" Genie asked.
The story progressed, showing Aladdin's second wish is to become a prince with Genie's help to win the heart of a princess Jasmine while also hinting that Genie longed for his own freedom. Sawada squinted at the screen. "So... this blue guy just wants to be free too? Well, I guess everyone wants freedom."
After that Aladdin ride with Princess Jasmine with the magic carpet ride. As the romantic carpet ride Stage played, Sawada controlled the romantic ride with an 8-bit version of "A Whole New World" filling the ost. Sawada found himself smiling at the charming visuals and enjoyable stage. But as he enjoyed the moment, he noticed a familiar figure flying nearby—a black-cloaked character with a helmet marked with a Z and a glowing blue visor.
"No way! Zabo-man?!" Sawada burst out laughing.
Zabo-man stopped mid-air, waving briefly before the text appeared: "You're very cool!"
Then he vanished.
"Hahaha! Hey, Zabo-man!" Sawada chuckled.
As the magic carpet ride stage ended, another 8 bit cutscene began. Jafar appeared once again, this time stealing the magic lamp. With a wicked laugh, he kidnaps princess Jasmine while teleporting Aladdin and his friends—except Genie—to the end of the world with his new Acquired power!.
"What the hell?!" Sawada blurted out as the screen flashed with an icy, desolate landscape. Aladdin found himself trapped in a snowy dungeon filled with frost-covered traps and sliding puzzles.
He glanced at the clock. It was 12 PM.
"Eh, who cares... I'm not sleeping until I beat this."
With that, he continued playing The game!
