Chapter 44: Solving Trouble For USA President

"Yo!" Aoi greeted while grinning as she entered the car.

"Yo! I am Mio," Mio stretched her hand while grinning.

"My cousin sister." Axir smiled.

"Hi, hi." Aoi smiled. "Nice to meet you."

"So where are we going?"

"USA." Lexi answered.

"Noice."

...

Axir went with full speed, crossing 10 kilometers per second.

After six minutes, they were above the White House.

"What the hell?" Lexi frowned. "It’s burning."

Axir narrowed his eyes as they flickered with blue sparks. "White House is under attack. A large group of players are creating hell there. This could be a plot to control the American Government by someone. A coup."

"Stay here, I’ll be back." Axir vanished.

A barrier also enveloped the car, locking it down.

With Axir’s current stats, it was impossible for Aoi and Lexi to get out, let alone Mio.

They were safe there.

In just two seconds, he appeared in the ground bunker and restrained all the players within 10 kilometers radius with impunity, chaining their limbs tightly using Mana constructs created using Mana Clay technique.

All these players were killing civilians and were bloodthirsty. But the main reason was that all of their eyes had the same pattern.

’A total of eight hundred and thirty-nine players within 10 kilometer radius have this pattern.’ Axir’s brain racked as he dug up old memories.

’Cursed Hexer Acolyte, a rare deck. Must have acquired good evolution of the cards.’

Axir arrived before a thick metal wall.

The president and other personnel were behind this. And the leader of this raid was about to arrive here, so he decided to come here first.

Within 10 kilometer radius, everything was under his eyes and ears, from every blade of grass to every sigh and whisper.

Axir put his hand on the thick metal wall. Neon blue lines spread out in a cubic manner through the wall.

In the next second, all its chunks were pulled back as he saw a group of people, fully armed with small and big guns.

All of them were pointing at Axir.

"Hello, President Lincoln Smith." Axir waved his hand while smiling. "I mean no harm."

President Lincoln frowned. "You are not the culprit of this attack. Who are you?"

"Oh? You are aware of who raided you?" Axir blinked. "Well, you don’t need to answer, that person will be here soon."

"As for me, I am Axir." Axir walked towards him. 𝐟𝐫𝕖𝗲𝘄𝚎𝗯𝕟𝐨𝕧𝐞𝚕.𝕔𝕠𝐦

The military personnel immediately warned him not to come any closer, but Axir ignored them.

"Don’t shoot." President Lincoln ordered.

Axir stopped before him and stretched his hand. "Player Ace."

Everyone’s heart shook.

The number one player.

President Lincoln stretched his hand for a handshake without hesitation.

"I can’t describe how I feel towards you. The world...has changed." There was exhaustion in his voice.

Axir chuckled. "Well, you are level 28, so it means you haven’t given up."

’I have a great suggestion to give if you want peace and prosperity for your people.’ Axir sent a telepathic message to him.

’Peace and prosperity...’ President Lincoln was stunned as he connected the dots instantly with the latest global number one news from Bangladesh, where a literal god appeared and punished a heretic, and enlightened his faithful ones.

Of course, many had already assumed it was a player, including him, but it was big news as it still affected many globally.

And Axir telling him it was him meant that he came in peace.

"Well, well. Someone already made things easier for me."

A group of players arrived. Five.

Axir vanished and appeared before the leader, who was a lean, muscled middle-aged man with dark blond hair, startling the hell out of him as he took steps back and almost fell upon seeing Axir abruptly appearing before him.

"Who the fuck are you?"

"Jazaar, it’s you!" President Lincoln shouted with anger as he looked at the white-haired man in his fifties behind the glasses.

"Yes, it’s me! How dare you try to control our people like that! And you killed many players!"

"They were out of control and killing civilians. Treating this world as a game as well." President Lincoln clenched his jaw. "Just because your son was one of them, you killed many innocent people."

"Kill him, Dolice!" Jazaar shouted.

"Don’t shout at me, dumbass! I am not your underling." Dolice snorted, his eyes reflecting cards, his focus on Axir, and sweat beads forming on his forehead.

More players appeared.

Axir yawned. "More players won’t change the outcome."

"Your danger sense is good. It will not go away even if you call ten thousand players."

Axir smiled. "Not that you have many. You can trace and check people under your control, right?"

"Cursed Hexer Acolyte."

Dolice’s eyes trembled. "How do you know about my deck?!"

"You’re lucky. To be able to control, no, influence this many people, you must have acquired a rather good evolution of the deck’s cards."

"But why?" Axir sighed. "Why did you have to kill people like this? Just because it feels good is not good enough to live in this world."

"And who are you to decide that?!" Jazaar shouted.

"I am your dad, moron." Axir grinned. "I am the daddy of this world. And I don’t need you in it."

Axir snapped his finger, and the old man’s head burst.

"I’ve restrained all your players, including the ones here."

Dolice looked behind and saw all of their limbs wrapped in blue chains.

"W-Who are you?" Dolice stammered, fear rising in his eyes.

"Ace."

Dolice’s brain buzzed.

His eyes turned blue.

3-star card, Blue-Eyed Marionette (Charm)!

"Change the influence of all the players under your command. Make them good people and help them clean and build everything."

Axir turned around and faced the president with a smile. "And listen to every command of President Lincoln."

"Understood," Dolice replied firmly.

"Well then, use the resources I gave you and stabilize things. We’ll meet later when we can sit down peacefully while having tea."

"Sounds good." President Lincoln nodded, a faint smile forming. "Pleasure and honor to meet you, Player Ace."

Axir chuckled. "Likewise, President Lincoln."

"Well then," Axir did a two-finger salute before vanishing.

Soon, he appeared back in the car.

"Alright, ladies. White House is off-limits today, shall we go look around this changing world and find some place fun?" Axir looked at Mio. "What do you say, milady? Today is her day, so we’ll listen to her."

"Okie, let’s look around. If I find something fun, or think of something, we’ll do it."

"Roger."

"Let’s look over Florida first." Aoi grinned. "That place has a good reputation in terms of fun."

"I agree. The beaches are also there, and players might have done something good there, like creating a party beach." Lexi nodded, eyes sparkling. "Good suggestion, Aoi."

"Let’s go there!" Mio grinned.

"Alright."

And so, the car flew towards Florida.
