"Thank you so much Miss. Chu. Thanks a lot." Monkey didn’t pretend to be polite and immediately agreed to Chu Miao’s suggestion, making her smile while nodding her head.

She took out two kilograms of fresh pork and gave it to Monkey for inspection. After making sure that it was good, she took out a basket of vegetables and some fruits and offered it.

"Is this enough for the things you gave?" She asked even though she knew she had given more than expected.

She wanted to test Monkey’s resolve once he really saw the meat and vegetables.

I am sure the leader will send me again once he realizes that everything is real." Monkey stumbled over his words as he spoke, making Chu Miao even more amused.

Surprise covered his face as he looked at the thing that had appeared in Chu Miao’s hand.

He hadn’t seen something so precious in a long time and couldn’t believe that he was seeing one today.

"What...what do you mean by this?" He asked cautiously because he didn’t think it was for him.

"For your children." Chu Miao tossed the thing in her hand to Monkey who nearly fell over himself in a bid to catch it so that it doesn’t fall to the ground and spill.

"Tha....than.....thank you so much Miss. Chu. I will see you tomorrow." Monkey put away the thing in his bag and walked out looking as if he had received a treasure.

This caused Chu Miao to shake her head. ’Did he have to exaggerate so much?’ She wondered as she walked back to the sect.

’It was just milk powder.’ She thought while striding calmly back into the protective barrier.

She looked at the falling icicles and wondered how Monkey came here and how he would go back.

It seemed that everyone had their own secrets in the apocalypse. Since Monkey didn’t say anything about the falling icicles, she felt no need to offer help.

Now that she and Ye Xuan had already finished building those training arrays, they were ready for use.
