Apocalyptic Rebirth: With a repairman system space, she rises again.-Chapter 506: Message from Boulder Creek.
When she grew weary of standing and watching from behind a glass, Sunshine found a place to sit and rest. Hours later, someone shook her awake.
Stretching and groaning with displeasure, she had no smiles for Nimo. "Is the world ending?" she asked in a grouchy voice.
"No, that was a year ago." Nimo replied. "Carson is awake and he discharged himself from the hospital three hours ago while you were sleeping." She looked at her phone whose screen was overtly brightly lit. "He asked me to tell you and only you about the changes he has undergone. He can see in the dark, like a cat." She paused. "He really said like a cat, these are not my words."
Sunshine yawned.
Nimo leaned down and whispered, "A drop of his blood fell on a dying plant his sister keeps at home, and it sprouted instantly." She looked around with wide, sharp eyes, checking to see if anyone was eavesdropping. "If people know this, they will kidnap him and drain him dry. Who needs fertilizer when we have Carson?"
Sunshine was stunned and she also looked around furtively. "Shhh. Don’t put ideas in people’s minds. Who knows the range of those with super hearing? The rich spoiled ladies want his blood for serums. We should not give them more ideas."
Nimo pressed her lips too close to Sunshine’s ear and whispered another shocking detail on the new Carson. "Apparently, when he severed one of his fingers, it twitched and formed a second version of him that dissolved after two minutes."
Sunshine gasped.
Nimo sighed. "When will I get my regeneration powers? I want to split into two?"
"You couldn’t do that in your last life." Sunshine replied. "And I have never heard of anyone else that could do it either."
"I..." Nimo started and shut her mouth quickly because people were walking by. "I will go and have a more in-depth conversation with Carson, as a future cell re-generator." She said when the people were far enough. "You go home and go to bed or have an early dinner."
Sunshine followed Nimo’s advice, leaving the medic bay immediately. Day drove her back home as she wanted to avoid unwanted interactions. Rumor had it that Tracy Kingsley was on the hunt for her. The woman wanted to sign her up for her matchmaking agency.
Somehow, it kept skipping Tracy’s mind that Sunshine was married.
As she got into the elevator, the system chimed softly in her mind, updating her statistics.

Sunshine’s attention focused on the points; they had moved up a lot. "System, two million points!"
[By taking the prism, you sort of repaired a planet.]
She smiled. "System, show me the income from the shop.
All types of meat [68,790,000]
Wine [30,000,000]
Phima bloom petals [956,700,000]
Recording gold rings [45,000,000]
Total =1,101,490,000.
The payments were in galaxy coins mostly. "The figures are truly dumbfounding. System, you were not kidding about the Phimma bloom petals being in high demand." Sunshine spoke in an enthusiastic manner.
[I recommend returning to that planet for more.]
Sunshine shuddered.
[The stock in your shop is almost depleted; I recommend that you restock as soon as possible.]
"Aye aye captain." Sunshine said playfully after which a glorious laugh followed. She was a galactic millionaire. That meant she was the richest person on the base. The billionaires would cry if they got to know this.
As she thought of this, she opened the door and entered the house. Her eyes perused her surroundings while the system notifications poured in, among them was one about the new items from Boulder Creek.
Immediately, she vanished into her space, so fast Hades barely had time to blink. He was left standing with a tray of snacks, wine and a sad face like a man whose romantic date was cut short by bad news.
He stared at the empty air where his wife had been, and sighed, "Of course, you have something to attend to. Our forbidden romance continues."
Inside the space meanwhile, Sunshine nearly fell over because she was staring at a mountain, not the metaphorical kind but an actual mountain of scrap, useful and useless. "I am going to need a whole month to sort through all this."
[I will do the sorting.]
Sunshine nodded, "That will actually save me a lot of time. Thank you, system."
[500 points, that is how much it will cost you.]
Sunshine let put a frustrated sigh. "Fine." Points could be earned later anyway.
Ten robots appeared in her space, all similar to Tank. They got to work immediately. Sunshine wondered how many points the system had used to acquire each of them. She would never know that one hundred points was the cost.
Once again, she had been conned by the system!
Her hands filtered through some of the things the robots tossed aside. One man’s junk could be another man’s payday. While she worked, she muttered under her breath, "Parts of an airship... melted iron shirts...half broken glass_"
She stopped dead at more sleek black triangles, narrowing her eyes before snapping, "System, this is not junk. Sell these immediately. Tell your robots not to throw them away."
Then she turned and saw a new delivery. It looked like fruits, crates upon crates of it, stacked so high she had to crane her neck, she blinked hard and said slowly, "Where is this from?"
The system calmly clarified. [Boulder Creek, The Gravesberry and Cindermoss you sent cleaned the air so thoroughly the people can now breathe without masks. Reports have been sent to the council by other repairmen that have visited the world recently.
Apparently, they work all day and night. The Purina earth root has restored fertility to the soil. They have three scientists that created a serum that speeds up the growth of food. Crops over there are growing five times faster than those on Earth]
Sunshine slapped her hands together and laughed, "Well now I am jealous."
She grabbed a purple fruit the size of a jackfruit, split it apart and bit into it. Sunshine froze as it melted on her tongue like sugar and vanilla and roasted pears. The sweetness lingered so long she forgot how to swallow.
"System," she said reverently, "What is this?"
[A Juxta bulb.]
"This definitely did not come from the seeds I gave them." She started doing math in her head, lips moving, eyes narrowing, "This is more than 40% that they are supposed to give me."
[Othyrean has sent extra fruits as thanks for saving them and also, he asked if Aladora was settling in well, how would you like to respond.]
Sunshine let out a heavy sigh. "Tell Othyrean to forget Aladora exists and that she’s fine," She scooped up some fruits, left the space. 𝘧𝓇ℯ𝑒𝓌𝑒𝑏𝓃𝘰𝘷𝘦𝘭.𝒸ℴ𝓂
Hades had settled on the couch near the window, reading one of Ala’s books on the history of Boulder Creek that he had borrowed from Ariel’s room.
She sat down beside him and handed him some fruit. He caught it and stared, suspicious, "Another of your discoveries?"
"Yep," She answered enthusiastically. "From the very world that you are reading about." They re-arranged themselves, and she settled between his legs. "So, is the book fascinating or are you bored?"
He snapped the book shut. "I think you are more fascinating. I want to hear more on the world the princess prophetess was talking about, the grey world and the Nocturnal god. Is it a real god or..."
Earl stomped into the living room and threw a package onto the floor like it offended him personally.
Everyone stared as Hunter scanned it and went quiet before saying, "Science books...photos, bento box, small dragonoid, pill box...a package from Amber Carpenter Harrington."
