Chapter 27: Chapter 27 Stolen Kiss

Olivia turned an even deeper shade of red. "I was not! I was just... Ugh, never mind! Turn around or I'll... I'll... " She waved her arms frantically, too flustered to even think of a proper threat.

Little White chuckled, the sound rich and smooth, unlike anything she'd ever imagined coming from him. But he turned around, although he didn't know why.

"Fine." It sounded more like a grumble.

Olivia turned to check. She let out a sigh of relief, seeing his back turned against her.

The banter momentarily made her forget about her intense pain. Their chatter turned into silence.

She looked down at herself. Deep wounds and scratches covered her skin. Her eyes welled. Her shoulder slumped.

She knew she was never special, but all she wanted was to be normal. Hot tears rolled down her cheeks, the feeling of losing control, of being trapped in her own body made her aching body shudder with dread. The dread of losing her own self.

She tried to stand, but her legs refused to move. Instead, a wave of overwhelming pain shot through her, forcing a cry from her lips.

Little White who had been impatiently waiting for her to tell him he could look, immediately ran to her while using one of his hands to cover his private part with a leaf.

"Are you okay?"

His voice softened, his gaze didn't change much. His sharp eyes noticed her leg, it was broken.

He carefully lifted her leg, but pain shot through her instantly. Still, he refused to let go.

" Let go, you pervert!"

Olivia scream echoed through the forest, she slapped his hand again, but it was like she was hitting a lump of wood.

" You are hurt. Let me see."

He ignored her protest, widening her leg more.

"Ahhhh ."

Olivia burst into tears as she desperately tried to make him loosen his grip.

Little White let go of her, his brows furrowed, he was confused by her reaction. He was only trying to help, why is she crying? Did he hurt her leg? 'Hmm that must be it' he concluded.

Olivia immediately scurried away from him. Although it was nothing but a few inches, she instinctively crouched, hiding and protecting herself from his view.

Little White tried to get closer to her.

" Go away! ... go away!" She yelled desperately.

Little White stood still, his head slightly tilting to the side. ' it seems like I did something she didn't like. But what did I do wrong? Or is something wrong with her head? She wasn't like this before, she must have hit her head.'

He walked away, sitting on the ground while he rested his back on a tree. His gaze locked on her, he will let her calm down before he will approach her again.

He stared strangely at his hand. ' So this is what being human is like? They feel so soft.' His hand caressing his face. ' It feels so smooth and a little warm, I like it.' He nodded.

Meanwhile, Olivia's heart calmed down when she saw him walking away. ' What is wrong with him? Why is he behaving like a pervert? I almost had a heart attack.' She bit her lower lips.

' He is very handsome and hot, his body is well built and strong, he smelled so good and muscular..'

Olivia shook her head in denial, 'Come on Olivia get your head straight.' She grimaced, as she felt pain shoot up from her stomach, because of her sudden movement.

After taking a deep breath. ' You have to think of a way to get out of here, and of course find some clothing.' Although she believed that the latter is more likely an impossible mission.

Her stomach growled in protest, a sharp reminder that hunger was yet another battle. She glanced down at herself, standing was out of the question, let alone walking. She could only rely on the handsome deity sitting across her, whose gaze were fierce, staring at her as if he wanted to bore a hole through her.

She weakly raised her hand, calling Little White to come closer, while looking away. She waited for a couple of minutes, but she didn't hear the sound of his footsteps.

'This pervert refused to answer me, what a terrible pet?'

She turned to call him.

Olivia turned too quickly, not realizing how close he had gotten. A breath of warmth ghosted over her lips before she felt the firm press of his against hers. Their eyes locked, both too stunned to move.

Thud.

Her heart pounded in her chest, a wild rhythm echoing in her ears. A Jolt of electricity passed through her spine. Her eyes widened, almost bulging out.

His scent invaded her senses, earthy, woody, with a faint hint of something wild and untamed. Butterflies fluttered in her stomach as his firm lips pressed against hers.

Little white brows furrowed. He had come when she had called. But the next he knew her lips were suddenly on his. He felt something he had never felt before, it was the first such jolt of electric sensation course through his veins.

He felt his temperature rising so fast, his instincts told him to claim her, and make her his.

His hand instinctively snaked to the back of her neck, pulling her deeper into the kiss. He hadn't done this before, but he lets his instincts guard him.

He had never experienced this before... this need, this overwhelming sensation that made his fingers tighten around her. Was this what it meant to be human?

His lips captured hers, their tongue intertwined in a push and pull combat.

Olivia tried to protest, her hand hitting against his chest, but his hand quickly held hers, preventing her from interrupting the kiss.

'Her mind screamed for her to pull away. This was Little White. Her companion. Her... pet? No. Not anymore. His lips were claiming hers, demanding, teasing, pulling her deeper into something she couldn't understand. And god's help her, she was losing the will to fight it.'

The world around them faded, lost in the heat of the kiss.

The warmth of his lips clouded her thoughts. Her broken leg, the aching wounds, none of it seemed to matter. Until she shifted slightly, and pain jolted up her spine, snapping her back to reality.

A low, guttural growl shattered the moment. Olivia's breath hitched as she turned, only to meet a pair of black, hungry eyes staring at them through the trees. Saliva dripped from its jagged fangs, its massive frame tense with anticipation. Whatever it was, it had been watching. And it was ready to strike.
