Arcane Academy: The Divine Extraction Legacy-Chapter 988: Divinity
Chapter 988: Divinity
"However, you must observe him." Caelin added as he couldn’t help but worry about the unrecorded Shadow Immortal.
At this point, he was already keen to ask the Overseer if there was a Shadow Immortal from the outside who had entered the realm. That might explain Vale’s mysterious identity. However, the Overseer was a neutral being and would never be available just for questioning.
Anyway, he waved a hand, and a scroll appeared in front of it... It unfurled mid-air, revealing a fragmented Spell Model...
The energy it gave off was chilling...
"Our analysts believe he may be looking for clues about this: this lost Ancient Immortal Shadow Spell Model from the Age of Starlit Rebellion. You know the implications..."
Sabrina frowned... The name of the Spell was still unknown because the Spell Model was fragmented into three pieces.
One of the fragments was just shown by Caelin.
Still, they all knew that once someone managed to complete this Immortal Spell Model, it would give birth to one of the strongest Shadow Immortals ever.
Indeed, that particular Spell Model—if fully recovered—could destabilize the rankings of Immortals.
After all, they believed that it was an Immortal Spell that could ignore the rankings of Immortals.
"And you suspect... he may be a scout sent by the Central Region Sects?" Sabrina asked...
To be honest, after talking to Vale, she was already doubting that. However, she couldn’t ignore Grandmaster Caelin’s words.
Caelin nodded.
"They’ve always hungered for Forbidden Immortal Arts, and we know how desperate some of their fringe sects have become. The timing is too close to the recent breach of one of our Immortal Towers..."
Sabrina could only nod at this point.
"I’ll keep my eye on him... But I suggest we maintain passive observation. It’s better not to approach or offend him somehow."
"Agreed." Caelin dismissed the scroll, which faded into specks of golden light.
Then, his tone softened slightly. "Thank you, child. I’ll let you do the rest. Just don’t let curiosity dull your caution."
Sabrina bowed. "I understand."

Back inside the Still Flame Inn’s room, Vale sat in the middle of hundreds of glowing Divine Crystals.
He reached toward the nearest Mid-Grade Empty Divine Crystal, holding it gently between his fingers.
[ Do you want to store your Divinity Points to the Divine Crystal? ]
[ Are you sure you want to transfer 5 Divinity Points? ]
"Yes..." Vale muttered.
A soft hum pulsed through the crystal, and soon, Vale confirmed that he lost 5 Divinity Points once again.
The crystal no longer flickered dimly—it now pulsed with stable Divine radiance. freewebnøvel_com
A fully filled Mid-Grade Divine Crystal!
Vale didn’t have much reaction after doing this hundreds of times and just threw the Divine Crystal into another crate.
Then, he repeated the process—one by one.
Some of the Low-Grade Empty Crystals were mixed among the piles. For those, he only needed to expend 1 Divinity Point per crystal.
They were quicker, and he processed dozens of them with ease.
Time passed, and the glow of the crystals steadily grew.
One by one, he converted the hollow fragments of potential into sources of usable Divinity.
1 Divinity Point for Low-Grade
5 Divinity Points for Mid-Grade
He worked for hours without pause, steadily depleting his Divinity Pool while maintaining perfect control and rhythm.
Crate after crate was completed. Stacks of filled Divine Crystals now stood neatly to his left, while empty ones diminished quickly from his right.
Eventually, his eyes drifted toward something he had set aside earlier: a small side table holding the two defective or fractured High-Grade Empty Divine Crystals—gifts from the old shopkeeper.
Their surface shimmered like broken glass, and they were riddled with cracks. Their Divine essence had been shattered and scattered. They were unstable, volatile, and nearly unsalvageable to most.
But not to Vale.
He examined the first one and gently nodded.
’The Divine Channels are fractured. The anchor nodes are misaligned, so it won’t retain the Divinity... Still, it should be doable.’ He mused while using his Spirit Vision and Divine Sense to inspect the crystal.
Soon, a faint smirk formed on his lips.
’As expected, I can fix this.’
He placed both hands around the crystal, channeling not just Divinity but also his Spirit Arts—specifically, the Dragon’s True Sight and Soul Shield.
The Dragon’s True Sight allowed him to be unaffected by the Divinity’s brilliance, while the Soul Shield protected him from the pulse coming from the crystal.
After all, based on his estimate, the High-Grade Divine Crystal requires a few hundred Divinity Points.
Soon, with his own control of his Divinity, threads of divine light shot out from his fingertips, moving across the surface of the cracked gem like it was patching it up.
Minute fragments floated mid-air as he began to reconstruct the Divine Crystal—fixing each crack, stabilizing its energy flow, and fusing its broken shell from within.
It was exhausting, precise work. Not something he could rush.
But Vale was patient.
Finally, after more than twenty minutes of meticulous effort, he actually poured 500 Divinity Points into the crystal.
"That’s a lot! Why did it take so much?!" Vale was surprised.
After all, the gap was too much, considering that the mid-grade only needed 5 Divinity Points!
Soon, a flash of golden-white brilliance enveloped the room.
The broken High-Grade Crystal now shone perfectly. Its glow was deeper than the others...
A true High-Grade Divine Crystal!
Vale felt a bit excited as he took a breath, then moved to the second fractured one.
Once again, he used the same technique and even developed his otherworldly perception to detect the core instability.
He continued the process.
Just like that, he used 500 more Divinity Points to fill the High-Grade Divinity Crystal.
"That’s tough... I wonder what I can get for these?" Vale muttered as he leaned back slightly.
He was satisfied with his work, but as he recalled his visit to the Central Market Tower, he knew that there weren’t any items there being sold for High Grade Divine Crystals.
’Ahh... Maybe this is the one I can use for Spell Models?’ Vale mused as he didn’t forget his main mission here, it was to fuse Shadow Celestial Arts and advance to the level of an Earth Immortal.
