Ascendant Path of a Lustful Vampire-Chapter 38: Aylin Khione
Chapter 38: Aylin Khione
The class went silent. Many looked surprised at how much Caius seemed to know. Others were shocked at how he chose to present historical facts. But most of all, the vast majority believed he was making it all up. He had to be.
Even the Professor looked unsure.
"What did you say?" She asked like she couldn’t believe her ears.
"I said he died horny," Caius repeated,
"At least that’s what is said; That he was poisoned to death by a lethal dose of aphrodisiac as punishment for what he did.
More shocking is that it’s believed the Elves didn’t do it. That it was a human who did him in. Someone either pissed that he almost caused another few decades of war of maybe just jealous that he got to taste what they didn’t dare to go after themselves. No one knows for sure."
"Where did you get all these?" Professor Gilligan asked.
"History books," Caius said easily, "I’ve read quite a bit."
That was a lie, of course. It’s just that the tale of Aklopis was one of the more interesting bits of side-story Samantha Ellis had included in her novel and Caius knew it so well because he actually liked Aklopis. That horny bastard had done more for sexual content than any of the actual characters of a novel that was rated 18+.
He got so interested in Aklopis’ side-story of a history that he accurately knew the timeline of events mentioned in the story and here he was regurgitating them and having everyone in class staring at him like he was some brainiac.
’Damn, Samantha really had me starved,’ He thought with a sigh.
~"Sorry."~ Samantha’s voice said in his head.
Calls smiled but said nothing.
Meanwhile, likely subconsciously, one of Professor Gilligan’s hands went to her chest, her fingers trailing lightly across the buttons that held the two sides of her shirt close to barely hold her large tits in place.
She seemed to stroke for a full minute before she collected herself and cleared her throat.
"Hmm. I mean, right! Right you are," she said, "Or at least most of what you said is rooted in cold hard facts. The others are fun tidbits of gossip that historians have debated for centuries."
"Oh, it’s real," Caius said, nodding with a smile. He had it on good authority from the creator of this world that it really happened.
Professor Gilligan mirrored his smile. Caius wondered if she had dabbled in those stories too and read the smut that had spun from it. He decided to check.
"The Merry Man of Yore? The Giver of Green Hats? The Leg-spreader Extraordinaire?
Read any, Professor?"
He added the more direct question in a lower voice only Anne, with her impeccable earring thanks to her current Magic Circle, actually heard.
"Oh my!" Anne Gilligan said in a gasp as her glasses slid down the bridge of her nose as she heard the titles of stories she recognized. Stories she had read many times in her free time.
’I knew it!’ Caius said.
In [To Kill A Demon Lord...], there were many female Professors Caius shared glances with. Mostly because they just wouldn’t take their eyes off him and also because he, rightly, found them hot even though he still tried to stay as far away to keep his Vampiric nature in check.
One of those Professors was Anne Gilligan. However, descriptions of her and her infatuation with Caius were very few and not all that detailed. It was just said to have started from him impressing her in class. But Caius had a feeling it started earlier than that. He had a feeling it started at Orientation.
Anne Gilligan was also described as very sexually frustrated. She was married but might as well have been separated for years. It was why she was always so sharp and quick to give disappointed looks. It was also why she graded very harshly.
Anyway, Anne’s sexual frustration and annoyance at her husband had pushed her to indulge in smut stories that she could pleasure herself with. [To Kill A Demon Lord...] didn’t say what the titles were but Caius decided to take a guess.
And really, what were the chances that he was wrong?
What were the chances that the sexually frustrated married Professor read the stories of the most famed Cuckolder in history?
No one else in the class understood what was happening right now besides him and the Magi-History Professor and when Anne’s fingers were starting to leave her shirt and dip into the deep cleavage of her breasts, she snapped out of it and cleared her throat.
"Well, interesting choice of descriptive words but a solid answer nonetheless. A round of applause for Mr. Von Helsing!"
The class clapped but it was not entirely uniform. It was slightly scattered as most remained confused about what just happened.
Caius noticed Kaya giving him a look like she wasn’t sure if she should be impressed or appalled.
Eventually ’impressed’ won out but she still paid better attention in class. If another question came their way, she wanted to be ready.
But another question didn’t come. Professor Gilligan seemed so flustered that she went right through with her lecture and the moment class ended, she gave Caius a very pointed look before turning away, grabbing her robe from the pole in front of class and she vanished into the Portal Gate.
Almost immediately, Eloise was standing in front of Caius and Kaya, looking between the two of them, suspicious.
"Break? Or would you two like to be alone again?" She asked.
Kaya rolled her eyes.
"Will you join us?" She asked Caius but sounded like she already knew the answer.
"No, I have to get to..." Caius started but Kaya interrupted him.
"... Professor Louvene’s office. Just like yesterday," she said in a quiet disappointed voice.
"What do you do there anyway?" Eloise jumped in to ask.
"Extra lessons," Caius answered easily.
"You like Alchemy that much?" Eloise asked but Kaya was already pulling her along so they left class together.
"We’ll see you later," she called back to him.
"See you." Caius called after them with one hand raised.
He left class last and started his walk down the corridor when he slowed down as he realized there was an entourage right ahead of him. A group of five girls was grouped together and at the front of the group was the obvious leader.
She had a statuesque physique. She looked almost as athletic as Delia Kragsten but was more curvy. She had the largest breasts of her group and of the entire First Year Class in general.
She had grey hair that looked almost white and blue eyes that were so light they almost looked white. And finally, she was absolutely, drop-dead beautiful.
Where Kaya had a pixie-like almost innocent beauty about her, this girl’s beauty looked almost evil. The kind of beauty that would freeze your heart while giving you a smile that made you feel grateful.
If you ever read descriptions in stories where Vampires are unnaturally beautiful with flawless features that almost made you feel weird by just standing close then you’ll understand what it was about this girl’s beauty.
Caius knew who she was, of course. The hair and eyes already made it clear but also, this one girl had so much presence in [To Kill A Demon Lord...] that she was a direct part in the rise of Doran Langston; The Mad Golem King...
"Aylin Khione." Caius said slowly.
Sister of Baler Khione and the actual genius of the Khione Matriarchal family.
If they stood side by side, it would be hard to tell that Aylin, who just turned eighteen, was younger than Baler who was nearing twenty. She was also the one to get the looks of the two of them. And, as the one with the potential to practice the Khione Ice Magic to its full potential, she was the most treasured.
Aylin and Baler were born to different fathers. Their Mother, Matriarch of the Khione Family and Duchess of their Duchy, followed long-standing traditions and never really married. She simply took partners from prominent families to have children with.
Although Caius had picked Kaya to talk to first on his first day in school, the truth was that she was not the only easily distinguishable character. Aylin’s grey—almost white hair—and piercing icy-blue eyes were just as noticeable. He just had reasons not to go for her. For one, he knew it was only a matter of time before she came to him.
Aylin smiled and Caius felt cold creeping all over him. Strangely, it felt comfortable. Because she wanted it to feel comfortable.
"Caius Von Helsing," she said in a sweet voice that would have caused Caius to shudder if he were not being very serious about keeping himself under control,
"Join me for Lunch. I have an entire section of the Cafeteria ready for us."
