Ascension Online: I Grow Stronger By Streaming-Chapter 27: Ending Stream
The goblin let out a roar as it felt the crushing weight of the pillar on it. Its tendrils immediately wrapped around it in an attempt to take it off.
Kai understood that if he wasted even a moment, he’d lose the opportunity to end this all, so he bolted, rushing at the goblin as fast as he could, in a straight line.
The goblin noticed what Kai had planned and so immediately, it tried to react and attack with some free tendrils, but its major focus was on the pillar, and so it could only offer some tendrils to the attack.
Kai dodged them with ease, the first one came in fast. He leaped into the air, pressing one foot onto the tendrils and pushing off. The next came with a swing, but he ducked mid air as it passed over him.
He landed on the ground, one knee down and one foot pressed against the platform. From that position he fired, his body exploding forward as he crossed the final distance in a flash.
’Strike the head, strike the head, that’s the best opening, attack the head, take it down,’ he repeated the words inside his head over and over and then attacked the head of the monster. He stabbed forward.
His sword cut through the air in a steady fashion, there was not a single shake or trembling. His eyes held fast, his concentration remained at the very peak. The tendrils slowly tried to wrap around the head and block the way, but his eyes were fixed on the small gap that remained. That gap was all that he needed and all that he would use right here. 𝘧𝑟𝑒𝑒𝘸𝘦𝘣𝑛𝑜𝘷𝑒𝓁.𝘤𝘰𝓂

The sword pierced through the gap and into the head of the goblin. Blood gushed out in a wonderful rain, dripping down to the ground.
Kai watched as the health bar rushed down to zero, and the monster stopped moving. He had won.
He staggered backwards and then fell to his butt, eyes wide in shock.
The system that he had forcefully made quiet suddenly exploded with notifications.

Kai looked at the string of messages, he couldn’t help but smile, a weak and tired smile.
"Urgh." He groaned as he pushed himself off the ground and onto his feet. He looked over to Mira and she was still in the corner with Cuddles looking at Kai. Kai gave her a thumbs up and a smile, she returned the thumbs up.
He looked at the body of the goblin and it slowly vanished, leaving something on the floor, a red crystal the size of a small ball, and a book.
Kai picked both up to examine them. The book was a spell book, he flipped it open to see the contents and it was a D level tendril spell that created tendrils to attack people.
"This would make for a good sell." Kai said with a smile.
He wanted to check out the crystal next, but that wasn’t possible, as he remembered the stream. He pulled up the interface immediately and what he saw stunned him.
"Five-five thousand?" He said in shock, his views had rocketed to a staggering five thousand. The chat was a complete riot, everyone was talking inside the chat, and he could barely read anything.
’Seems I might have to start regulating things soon,’ he thought with a smile on his face. He opened the gift menu and that was even more shocking, he had received a few massive gifts, but as for the small gifts, they had come in tons, and when they get added up, they would surely give some crazy good money.
While Kai was busy looking at that, the crystal for teleportation slowly came up. Kai looked at the crystal and wasn’t sure he was willing to enter the third floor at all. The second floor almost killed him, it was drastically different from what he faced in the first floor.

[FishHunter11: Lol, he’ll probably die in the third floor]
[Crimson-Walker: This dungeon doesn’t seem to be fair in the power progression]
[WaterMan: He surely got lucky in this second floor]
Different opinions were flying, but everyone wanted to see Kai walk into the third floor.
’I’m definitely not entering that place until I’ve properly set up my strength.’ Kai thought to himself, he quickly pulled up the timer screen.
To his surprise, he had spent more time here than he had even thought, clearing the six hours in only the second floor. Seeing that alone made a smile form on his face, he could finally leave the dungeon.
"Alright guys, the six hour time has ended, and I can’t keep going for now. The third floor will surely be harder, so I have to prepare." Kai said.
[WaterMan: Tch, he wants to leave, coward]
[LordGooner143: yeah, better to prepare, protection is always important]
"Why do I feel like you said something inappropriate Lord?" Kai asked immediately he read Lord Gooner’s chat.
[LordGooner143: Your mind is as far gone as mine, haha]
Kai looked at the message and couldn’t help but smile.
"I’ll be leaving the dungeon now, and I’ll be ending the stream. I have a lot to prepare before the next stream. Thank you all for watching, and see you in the next one." Kai said and finally ended the stream.
The moment he did, it was as if a massive weight had been lifted off his shoulder. He looked at the crystal in the center and then turned to Mira.
"Mira, let’s go, we are done for now."
"Alright." She responded and got up. Kai walked over to her and held her hand before leaving the dungeon.
When their eyes opened, they were standing exactly where they had entered the portal. Kai heaved a huge sigh of relief, he was exhausted, his stamina, everything was depleted, but he was happy, because today alone, he had managed to gather enough to handle Aoi’s treatment and more.
