Attribute Farming System-Chapter 100: Into The Rainbow-colored Barrier!?
With slightly broken focus, the Six-Winged Seraphim met Knox's gaze. And without thinking much of it, he opened up holes similar to the last ones—
WHOOOOSH!
A similar scenario unfolded, with one of Knox's last few Half-step Saint Rank Pills sliding down Yennefer's throat. He felt his heart bleed at the loss of something worth tens of thousands of High-grade Spirit Stones, but he had to learn to let go.
'These girls better be fucking worth it!' he internally shouted while biting the edges of his shirt—doing the total opposite of letting go. 'My booty…! Noooo…'
Sad days awaited the poor lad.
WAAA!
Gradually opening her eyes, Yennefer was blown away by the rate at which her body fully regenerated. She had been certain she was a goner, with every single pill or item she used doing nothing to prevent the inevitable.
But then, out of nowhere—just like with Cela—she felt a warm, soothing green energy flow into her, wrapping her existence in a cozy, rejuvenating blanket. Then she found herself unconsciously staring in the direction of a particular robed man.
She shouldn't have even considered it. After all, they weren't even close to being on good terms. In fact, they didn't even like each other. She knew that. He knew that.
Yet he still gave her the Pill.
And she still assumed that it was him who saved her.
Weird thoughts swam inside her mind as she robotically chose her treasures from the Diamond-ranked area. She then promptly departed from the Moleseum, only to pass by the indifferent robed man set to be her husband.
Extending a hand, she gave him a sword-shaped amulet with an enchanted chain running through it. This amulet was a Half-step Saint-grade Item that tripled the damage of sword-related attacks as long as one's power didn't exceed the Soul Formation Realm. After breaking this limit, the effects would be reduced to a 50% increase in damage, with that number becoming even smaller the higher one advanced.
"You don't have to—" Knox started to say before being promptly interrupted by Yennefer:
"And you didn't have to save me. So we're even."
"...We're even, then…"
For some reason, their ever-so-brief conversation felt more like a business transaction than anything. And for an even weirder reason, this slightly annoyed both of them, leaving them feeling unsatisfied.
Nevertheless, after Cela and Yennefer obtained their rewards from the Diamond-ranked area, it came time for the rest of the Trial Takers to attempt the Moleseum.
With each new person entering, the Six-Winged Seraphim's complexion grew grayer. Furthermore, his stance became unsteady and off-center.
Eventually, everyone—except for one—received their just dues.
As Nala passed by Knox, she scowled before coldly snorting and continuing on her merry way.
'What a weirdo,' he thought as he strolled up to the Moleseum's double doors. His golden eyes then met those of the Six-Winged Seraphim.
"There's no time," said the Six-Winged Seraphim, his sunken cheeks emphasizing his extreme fatigue. "You must go in and finish quickly. If not, when IT arrives, even I won't be able to save you."
"What? I don't—"
"Don't you understand??" The Six-Winged Seraphim's tone turned urgent. "IT knows you're in here, which has given it even more reason to speed up its break-in! The World Serpent will be the first to go down. Then I'll die next. By that point, no one will be left alive to protect you from what is to come."
Things had just become exponentially more serious.
"Very well, then," Knox said, overlooking the increasing rumblings. His frosty expression locked onto the Moleseum's entrance, his steps fleeting and ghostly as he flash-stepped through the colored Barriers.
"!!!" "!!!"
"This speed…" Princess Maya muttered in awe. "He's zipping through the Barriers like the increase in gravity levels aren't even there…"
The Blue Barrier!
The Red Barrier!
The Silver Barrier!
The Gold Barrier!
The Diamond Barrier!
All shattered in rapid succession!
Looking as if he had been taking no more than a leisurely stroll, Knox turned away from the Heaven-ranked treasures scattered throughout the Diamond Area. His gaze shifted to the pitch-black Barrier, and with instantaneous movement, he arrived at its edges.
Reaching out, he touched the mysterious black energy that made up the Barrier—the same Barrier that only Maya and Nala had managed to successfully pass through.
"He's going in," said Luna. "He can do it, can't he?" Solaris asked.
Princess Maya's elegantly carved brows furrowed deeply. All her attention was focused on the casual steps of the man who didn't seem the least bit affected by the gravity of the Black Barrier.
"Tens of millions of times the normal gravity," she mumbled. "And he treats it as if it doesn't even exist…"
Nala's already soured mood worsened. Her expression twisted in disgruntlement as that same feeling of helplessness from earlier returned.
— After a couple of seconds —
"That was a little tougher than I expected," Knox remarked while wiping a single droplet of sweat from his forehead. "It got a bit tricky toward the end. Yet this only makes me curious to see what that beauty there will do to me."
The notion of the Rainbow-colored Barrier weighed heavily on everyone's minds—especially the two geniuses who had experienced it firsthand.
'Just a single step into that Barrier, and I felt as if the whole world was crashing down on me,' Maya mulled.
Phantom sensations from that experience made her hand tremble. She used her other hand to stop the tremors before focusing intently on the scene before her.
Widening her eyes, she was astonished to find Knox taking step after step inside the Rainbow-colored Barrier.
"How could this be…" She noticed traces of struggle on his countenance, but it was nowhere near what she had assumed it would be. "A genius of the highest caliber… born in the Water Kingdom…"
Maya's lips suddenly curved upward; she could hardly restrain herself.

Sniffing the air with narrowed eyes, Cela muttered to herself, "I smells a thieving b*tch."
That was when she caught sight of the creepily grinning princess.
"There's the thieving bitch!" Cela announced, as an invisible cat tail and ears on her person violently reacted to the b*tch. "Will kill her!"
"But how…?"
