OOOOM!

Sect Leader Ten Thousand Poisons erupted with a power infinitely close to the Soul Transformation Realm.

Count Falazar was prepared to fight anyway, but with a single gesture from his son, he paused. He looked at Knox, seeing something within his golden eyes that had even him feeling fear.

Sighing in resignation, Count Falazar said, "Fine, but don't get yourself killed." Before he teleported to where the other Traitor was standing.

"Hello, Water Deity."

"I've been waiting for this day for a long time, Count Falazar. A very, very long time."

"Funny thing is, I don't recall ever interacting with you much," replied Count Falazar, rubbing his chin in contemplative thought. "Yeah, I honestly don't remember."

Water Deity frowned deeply, anger making a mess of his insides. "Oh, but you will. I'll see to it myself."

"Sounds like a threat."

"It is."

Silence…

SHA! SHA! SHA!

They clashed swords within an instant, bringing the battle to the surroundings. Entire lakes evaporated in an instant. Animals and mortals alike were obliterated, with whole towns sinking into the ground.

Meanwhile, back with Knox and the fat, ugly fucker before him.

Taking a peek at the big bastard's System Interface, he saw:

BLING!

{[Sect Leader Ten Thousand Poisons (Big Ugly Fucker)]}

[Cultivation: Pinnacle of Half-step Soul Transformation Realm]

[Age: 600+]

—[Due to the usage of a Forbidden Blood Technique called |Life Syphon Mutation Sequencer|, this Cultivator has experienced massive qualitative change. His strength is now over a dozen times greater than it was before, warranting caution to all those who face him.]

"The System has the same sense of humor as I do…"

Knox didn't know how he was supposed to feel about that information, but with several weapon-like arms barreling toward him, he was given little time to ponder. He dodged the first weapon-arm by the hair on his chinny chin chin, but the second and third arms were not so easily evaded.

SHING!

Knox parried one with the Sword of the End, causing sparks to fly. However, with the second one aiming to pierce him from behind, he had to transition from facing frontward to spinning backward. His Nagikatana collided with the third arm blade, creating a large dent in its hard outer encasing.

Tough!

"DIE!!"

SHA! SHA! SHA!

Six more weapon arms of the blade and axe variety cut through the air, with just the wind produced from the attacks dealing huge amounts of damage to the topography. A couple of unsuspecting Spirit Ships were even cleaved in half.

Faced with certain death, Knox exhaled sharply. A golden glow emerged from his slitted eyes as he tapped once, tapped twice, tapped thrice, then vanished.

'WHERE IS HE!?'

Sect Leader Ten Thousand's thoughts rang out as if countless banshee-like entities had become one with his voice—a side effect of the Forbidden Technique.

A cold smile materialized right beside him. He instinctively shot out his arms, but by then, the smirk had already disappeared and reappeared along with the rest of the body it was connected to. A repositioning that had Knox emotionlessly standing on the side of one of the Sect Leader's arms.

"HOW—!?"

In an instant, Knox blurred around the arm in a spiraling motion, running the Sword of the End everywhere he went. The Law of Slaughter applied not even a nanosecond later, eviscerating the arm and sending mutated blood flying everywhere.

"ARGHHH!!!"

Ignoring the simultaneous agonizing cries of Sect Leader Ten Thousand Poisons and all the Cultivators he devoured, Knox elegantly landed on the huge gory mess of a stump. This was where one of the Sect Leader's arms used to be attached—an appendage of an approximate size of thousands of meters.

A small rainfall of blood occurred for the devastated land below.

"Seems like your increase in size and projections has just made you a bigger target," Knox coldly uttered, his Nagikatana pulsating in joy as it absorbed all the Blood Essence it managed to nab. "But seeing as this is my first real fight since undergoing a complete metamorphosis, it would be nice if you could… I don't know… try a little harder?"

RUMBLE—!!!

Sect Leader Ten Thousand Poisons exploded with rage. His wrathful aura pushed Knox off of him, sending him cannoning into a water basin. However, the whole way down, he appeared uncaring; his arms were folded in front of him, with his face one of total neutrality.

"YOU WORM!!!"

Sect Leader Ten Thousand Poisons grew back the arm that Knox destroyed. Furthermore, dozens more arms sprouted out from all over him, with their sudden appearance razing the atmosphere due to energy overload.

WHOOOOM!

Ludicrous levels of Fire Innate Energy flared from out of each of Sect Leader Ten Thousand Poisons' arms. Small balls of fire were gathered above each arm, absorbing more and more energy before hyper-condensing in an endless cycle.

OOOM. OOOM! OOOOM!! OOOOOOM!!!

Eventually, the fireballs stopped condensing, instead letting the absurd amount of energy within expand their sizes to an astronomical degree.

"DO YOU FINALLY UNDERSTAND THE INSURMOUNTABLE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN CRIPPLED TRASH LIKE YOU AND SOMEONE LIKE ME!?!?"

Sect Leader Ten Thousand Poisons' voice boomed out as dozens of city-sized swirling balls of fire suffocated the air around him. The sweltering heat produced by them was so intense that large lakes evaporated; the peaks of mountains were melted off; entire towns were incinerated.

'When Immortals battle, the Mortals suffer,' Knox thought, his expression deadpan. 'The World of Cultivation never changes.'

Bringing out more of the power of his Lower Outer God Physique and Lesser Dragon King Bloodline, Knox's golden horns grew longer, and his tail thicker. Moreover, an overwhelming source of power radiated from inside his Sea of Innate Energy.

The source of a Lower Outer God.

Outer Gods were one of the most mysterious groups of mythical entities in the World. They lived outside the Azura Empire, in lands so mystical and massive that it made the Elemental Nations look like a tiny roadside pebble.

And this wasn't even an exaggeration…

Outer Gods really did reside on a higher plane of existence, one where their bodies were forced to adapt and grow to appropriate sizes. Reaching heights far bigger than the diameters of planets.

There were also various kinds of Outer Gods, of which there were the weakest and lowliest of them: The Lower Outer Gods.
