Attribute Farming System-Chapter 97: The Trial of Opportunity
FWIP! FWIP! FWIP!
Every Trial Takers was forcefully teleported just outside the Moleseum's front entrance. They were transported in such a way that the ones ranked lower on the rankings list for the 2nd Trial were situated further toward the beginning of the line. This meant that Cela was set to be the first to go in, with Yennefer meant to go in second.
"The 3rd Trial is the Trial of Rewards—the Trial of Opportunity."
The Six-Winged Seraphim's voice cut through the thoughts of the youngsters below. He gestured with the tips of his pinky fingers, urging open the large double doors of the Moleseum.
"Your objective is simple," he continued, letting all those below bear witness to the splendor that was shown coming from inside the Moleseum. "There are an incalculable number of treasures inside that are beyond anything that your tiny Nation is capable of producing. But to get to the higher-end treasures, you require not only a large number of Kingdom Coins—you also need to be capable enough to enter the area that holds said treasures. Simply put, this is a test of strength with upper limits based on how well you did during the 2nd Trial. This means that even if you're capable enough to enter a better area of the Moleseum but lack the necessary Kingdom Coins, you won't go further than you are."
'Hmm…' Knox inspected the Moleseum's interior, noticing several differently colored barrier walls separating cut-off sections. 'Ahh, I understand how this works. It's like a game where you need to be of a certain level to enter the next, better area, where you'll also need to have a fist strong enough to beat up the mobs to progress. That's why our Kingdom Coins were calculated in a cumulative format and not based on what we currently have.'
This was a good thing for him because he had spent more than 90% of his Kingdom Coins almost as soon as he got them. That was how he was able to tremendously speed up the time dilation of his Territory—an action that led to his Empire growing at an utterly absurd rate, ultimately allowing him to conquer more than 10% of King's Grounds.
Though that amount didn't sound like much in retrospect, one had to know that Nala's Empire—the 2nd greatest by the end—accounted for barely 0.1% of the world's surface area.
However, seeing as she was nowhere near as bloodthirsty as Knox, it only made sense that she lagged so far behind. In the end, he had every advantage. He became stronger because of the 1st Trial's rewards, his ruthlessness knew no limits, and the time dilation of his Empire was several times that of Nala.
None of the other Trial Takers stood even half a chance against him in the 2nd Trial…
Finishing his explanation, the Six-Winged Seraphim said, "To reach the next areas in the Moleseum, you'll need to make use of your martial prowess and budding wills to push through increasingly greater levels of gravity. If you can do that, then you can use your Kingdom Coins to take away from the areas whatever you can afford. Naturally, this means that your cumulative Kingdom Coin amount will decrease, never to return again."
After concluding his explanation of the 3rd Secret Realm Trial, the Six-Winged Seraphim let the double doors to the Moleseum fully open. He then stretched out his hands.
"You may now attempt the 3rd Trial. One at a time, you'll go in, starting with… you." He pointed at the silly-faced Cela. "Your rank is #7—your name: Cela Bonanier. Proceed with due haste. There's not much time left."
'Not much time left??' Knox questioned. 'What does that mea—'
RUMBLE!
Shaking the entirety of Pandora was a rumbling so loud and immense that even the massive World Serpent was tossed slightly into the air. Mountains and forests were treated even more harshly, as they were launched and obliterated due to the sheer velocity at which they traveled.
Noticing everyone's unease and alarm, the Six-Winged Seraphim said, "Ignore it; knowing will only negatively affect your Karma in this life. But hurry and attempt the Final Trial—I cannot hold out forever."
Astonishment built up in Knox as he used his Perception to observe small beads of sweat rolling down the Six-Winged Seraphim's pale, white face. He was obviously being overexerted; his muscles trembled, his stance becoming shaky.
Cela—finally leaving her reverie—hurriedly apologized before rushing into the Moleseum.
While the harrowing thought of what could be affecting the Six-Winged Seraphim in such a way lingered in Knox's mind, he was also interested to see how Cela performed in the Trial. And for the next few seconds, he watched as she effortlessly passed through the 1,000 Kingdom Coin blue-colored barrier, the 10,000 Kingdom Coin red-colored barrier, as well as the silver-colored 100,000 Kingdom Coin barrier.
'So they correlate to the rankings of the Treasure Troves,' Knox noted before continuing to spectate Cela's attempt at the 3rd Trial.
She had not taken anything from the first three areas, a decision she started to slightly regret upon reaching the 1,000,000 Kingdom Coin gold-colored area. The gravity multiplied from 10,000 times greater than normal to 100,000 times greater, causing Cela to initially stumble due to the unexpected increase.
Ultimately, though, she eventually got through the gold barrier, upon which she was greeted with the glorious sight of thousands of Sky and Heaven-ranked treasures. They ranged from Heavenly Pills to Supreme Weapons and lit up the area like a dazzling disco ball.
"So many valuables," Luna awed. "But that's just the gold-ranked area… What do you think is inside the Diamond and Black areas?" asked Solaris.
"So many goodies," Cela drooled. "I bet Darling will love all of this~!"
But before she made the rash decision of purchasing everything in sight, the glimmer produced by the Diamond-colored barrier caught her eye. She retracted her hand, then took step after step toward the barrier.
"So she's going to try for something more… I see," said 13th Princess Maya as she watched from the sidelines.
"For Darling, only the best is what he deserves~!" Cela fervently shouted as she tenaciously ventured into the Diamond-colored barrier.

"!!!"
Cela's feet were immediately planted into the ground, blood leaking from her nose and eyes. Yet…
Yet she didn't fall.
She stood her ground and took another step. Even under gravity millions of times greater than normal, she successfully took that step.
Then another step.
And another.
And another…
And another…..
Another… Another… Another… Another....
