"Hey... that's not fair." a thin, disgruntled voice floated up through the haze.

"Fair? We're looking at fairness now?" another snapped.

"Bo...both of you—" a third started, but was instantly shut out.

"Shut up!" snapped the chorus, in sync.

'Huh? What's going on? Am i in some kind of circus or what?'

Sezel slowly blinked open his eyes, and looked at the ceiling in disbelief. It can't be, it couldn't have been.

It was so clean, he thought for a moment he'd hallucinated it. A ceiling fan spun in lazy circles, tucked into plaster so decadent it felt impossible, it was absurdly out of place here.

Sezel's heart sank... 'Am... am i back on Earth?'

That was the first thing his mind reeled into, but how? he vaguely remembered that the Max guy opened something similar to a gate.

'Did... did he really open a gate?'

Sezel's thought's were chaotic. 'If so... what about Mari? Vesta and Shiki where are they?'

He tried to push his body up, but suddenly a pain... the kind that he hadn't experienced yet took hold of his body, especially around his abdomen.

"AHHH!" The sound tore out of him, unplanned—but hell, he'd earned a good scream by now, hadn't he?

Sezel bit his lips as he fell back down on the soft mattress. It was even softer than the one provided in the facility.

'What's going on?'

"Ohh! look the pretty boy is up." a strange woman's voice called, half a jeer and half a welcome.

Well... it wasn't strange or new. It was that woman's voice, Sezel couldn't quite remember the name.

"Oh he is actually awake..." Another voice, the heavy manly voice was heard and suddenly a face appeared, bright and so damn perfect it was offensive in context.

"...Max?" His own voice sounded small in his ears, memories piecing themselves together raggedly.

Max's grin brightened. "Yes, I'm Max. Glad the concussion didn't erase my name." Sezel's face was flustered... Sezel wasn't sure why, but that felt wrong.

Suddenly, Sezel felt a weird sensation, no... it was more like an instinct that he had done something very wrong.

He tilted his head to the other side, with a embarrassing smile and saw flames... Emili, the woman. She was practically on flames of jealousy.

Sezel opened his mouth to speak, but she beat him to it, "So you remembered that gay freaks name, but not mine. Huh?"

Sezel's face went pale... it is just as he thought. He would wake up in another mess and he did.

'Oh... shit this woman's crazy.'

"No... no I do... It's… Emili, right?" he stuttered. The second he said it, Emili's face sparkled, rage swapped for surprise and then a wink.

"Ahh... so sweet," she purred.

Sezel sighed in relief... wondering if all woman are crazy like this... 'At least Vesta isn't.'

"Emili you are being so paranoid..." Max spoke, with a irritated smile on his face, "We still haven't asked him about his preferences."

"Huh? what preferences?" Sezel asked, dumbfounded by the situation.

That word somehow sounded dangerous.

Max looked at him, his eyes closed and a mischievous smile playing on his lips... Sezel felt that this was not going to go in a good direction.

"First we should ask his name." Alex spoke, the guy with a face so pristine and beautiful that it was hard to tell that he is not some angelic goddess.

"Oh yeah," she chirped, suddenly perky, "What's your name, Pretty Boy?"

Sezel hesitated. He could lie—again. But what would be the point? The old habits, the survival lies, they all felt thinner... he wanted to let go of them for some reason.

"Sezel... I am Sezel." he said. Saying it out loud made the name feel heavier than he remembered.

He Wondered if it was the right thing to do, he had lied the first time to Vesta and Shiki but... he had somehow changed.

"Ohh... a unique name, just like your looks." Max quoted.

"Thanks"

Lifting his head Sezel looked at his own body. His upper half was naked, and he was certainly surprised after looking at his own body. The muscles, they were just not what you would expect for someone who hasn't eaten a complete good meal in ages.

There he noticed dry stiches on the left side of his abdomen... that's where the ice shard pierced him.

Sezel looked at the three people, arguing amongst themselves, he was genuinely thankful. 'Pretty sure i would have been a corpse by now...Wait! how long has it been?'

He sat up, gritting his teeth through the throb.

"You shouldn't be moving yet," Max said, concern etched in every perfect line of his face.

"Its been a while, so my skills have dulled." Emili commented, her lips curling into a smile.

"Eh? So you are a doctor?" Sezel asked, shocked and then again looked at her.

The woman wore, a soft cloth tunic, covering what she thought was most important and leaving the rest. Sezel couldn't take his eyes off of the brimming muscles and the somewhat dark tone of the visible skin.

'Do doctor's have such muscles... no wonder those rich kids are afraid of them.'

Emili caught him looking and shot him a sly, mischievous grin. "Hey! do you perhaps wanna see more?"

Sezel's cheeks went up like fireworks. "Uh, no! No, not at all!" He waved frantically, eyes bouncing between Emili's grin and the doorway.

"Let's move on to the question...," Max interrupted, face perfectly innocent.

Alex stood off, shoulders hunched, not quite part of the moment but not willing to drift entirely out of it.

But he still spoke in a low voice... "Isn't it obvious Max?" almost crying.

Max took a beat, then replied, "What is clear, Alex? Nothing is—we must ask the guy in question. Right, Sezel?"

Max's face was so elegant and almost perfect that it was kinda... bugging Sezel.

Sezel's eye twitched at the sight of his elegant face. This guy's face... It's not fair.

And then Max dropped the question... "So, Sezel… do you like men or women?"

He asked it as if inquiring about preferred tea flavors.

Sezel blinked at him, staring with a deadpan expression. "What?"
