Awakening The Only SSS-Rank Class! Now Even Dragons Obey Me-Chapter 669: Getting A Girl’s Number
"On the country’s borders? What do you mean? Don’t tell me...?" Daniel frowned as a possibility came to mind. It sounded ridiculous, but judging from Sara’s mood, it didn’t seem that far-fetched.
"Can I trust you?" Sara didn’t answer and instead asked another question. She stopped and looked straight into the eyes of the young man standing in front of her.
Daniel didn’t respond, but the look in his golden eyes was an answer by itself.
After holding his gaze for a long moment, Sara blushed slightly in embarrassment and lowered her head again.
"My brother joined the terrorist group that attacked the country."
"So I guessed right." Daniel sighed, not knowing what to say. Many questions appeared in his mind.
The Lioren he knew wasn’t someone who would join a terrorist group. In fact, it was more likely he would be on the front lines fighting against them.
So what exactly happened? How did he end up in a terrorist group? Since he didn’t have enough information to reason it out, he looked at the girl again, the one who might have the answers.
"I don’t know anything either. I don’t know how he joined or what happened. That’s why I came back to the country to find the answers." Sara noticed Daniel’s gaze and replied.
"But I’m scared. I’m scared the answers to those questions might not be something I want to hear." Tears slowly started falling from her eyes.
Could the brother who had always been her hero have become a major villain? Even thinking about it made her heart hurt.
"Don’t worry, it definitely isn’t like that." Daniel sighed. Unfortunately, he wasn’t good at comforting others.
Sara wiped her tears and nodded. She shouldn’t lose hope in her brother. There had to be a reason he joined that terrorist group. Maybe he had even been forced.
"But why are you telling me all this?"
"I didn’t want to say it, but when you said you reached Rank A, I felt like maybe you could help me."
"I doubt a Rank A can make much difference," Daniel said quietly. Naturally, he didn’t mean himself, since he personally had the power to destroy those terrorists.
Still, he wanted to know why Sara thought he could help.
"Did you forget my class? And my All-Knowing innate talent?" Sara smirked, her face full of sarcasm.
Daniel’s expression stiffened. Right, he had forgotten this girl’s class, the one that helped her uncover the secrets of the world.
In fact, it was with the help of her class’s innate talents that she had been able to grow quickly in the Celestial Domain by finding and seizing various opportunities.
"So you’ll help me?"
"Yes. Whatever the cost, I’ll pay!"
"Whatever?" Daniel gave her a mischievous look and examined her from top to bottom. That action made Sara blush, and she lightly punched his chest.
"I want you to use your innate talent to answer one of my questions." He had many unanswered questions.
But the most important one was about his father’s situation and where he was. Besides, he already planned to go to the eastern borders anyway.
So helping this girl could be considered a side task that might also bring him significant benefits.
"Deal." Sara nodded without hesitation.
"I’m going to the eastern borders tomorrow. If you want, you can come. But just so you know, I’m the leader, and you have to follow all my orders," Daniel said.
"So soon? I was planning to go there in four days."
"There’s something I need to deal with there."
"So you were going there anyway! You tricked me!" Sara realized she had fallen into a trap. She snorted and lightly punched the young man’s chest again.
"Anyway, it’s your choice. If you want to come, be ready." Daniel turned and walked toward his car.
"Wait, how are you going to contact me? Do you have my number?" Sara suddenly called out, making him stop.
"No. Write your number here." He took out his phone and handed it to her. She entered and saved her number.
After that, they said goodbye. Daniel got into his car and drove home, but his mind was still occupied with Lioren. The more he thought about it, the more impossible it felt.
"He suddenly disappeared, and now it turns out he joined a terrorist group?" He snorted. Clearly, there was something behind this.
He took out his phone and sent a message to Lana, actually a request, a request to investigate Lioren.
Then he put his phone in his pocket, parked the car, and went inside the house. Using his spiritual senses, he noticed his mother was asleep in her room.
There was still no sign of the two girls, and it seemed they hadn’t returned. Seeing that he had nothing to do, he went back to his room and fell onto his bed.
He didn’t fall asleep right away. He used his phone to open the Awakened Association Online community and searched about the terrorist group that had attacked the country’s borders.
He wanted to see if he could find more information, or whether the group’s leader was known, any information that could help.
Unfortunately, he didn’t find anything special. Whatever there was had already been told to him by Lana.
Then his gaze fell on a topic related to the Central Continent. It seemed some kind of competitions were being held there.
"I should go there soon too," he muttered to himself. There were things he needed to take care of on the Central Continent, but he hadn’t had the chance to go yet.
However, most of his business in this country would be finished soon, and once he reached Rank S, he would leave this place.
He took a general look at the site, then placed his phone beside the bed and slowly closed his eyes.
Tomorrow would be a long day, and he had to deal with an important matter. The more rest, the better.
"Maybe I shouldn’t have told that girl to come with me and should have handled it alone." Still, before falling asleep, he felt that Sara was going to bring a lot of trouble.
