Baby System: I'm the Beast World's Only Hope!-Chapter 258: Episode 256: The Woes of a Harem
As soon as I get back, everyone wants a piece of me... sexually.
Roxy didn’t even have time to fully process the sheer audacity of the two Beastmen boxing her in on the plush couch.
Ren leaned in, his green eyes dark with hooded lust, his lips parting to capture hers.
Roxy’s hand shot up faster than a striking snake, her palm slapping flat against Ren’s mouth just inches from her face.
"Are you mad?" Roxy hissed, her eyes darting frantically toward the staircase and the front door. "We are in the middle of the living room! Drax was literally just in the kitchen, Iris and Tanith could wake up at any second, and Zarek is upstairs!"
Ren blinked, his lips muffled against her palm. He let out a soft, vibrating hum of amusement, his eyes crinkling at the corners. He gently took her wrist, kissing the center of her palm before lowering her hand.
"I am perfectly sane, my Queen," Ren whispered, his bushy red tail thumping a steady, eager rhythm against the floorboards. "Just deeply, deeply starved."
"Well, you are going to have to stay starved for a little longer," Roxy groaned, letting her head fall back against Torian’s solid chest. She let out a long, exhausted sigh. "I am too tired to have another session right now. Kaelen and Zarek absolutely wrecked me last night. Every muscle in my lower half is screaming. Can I please just have one more day of rest?"
The troubles of a woman with too many husbands.
Ren’s ears twitched. He looked down at her flushed, tired face, the lingering shadows of exhaustion under her violet eyes, and the playful lust in his expression immediately softened into genuine concern.
"Of course," Ren murmured, shifting his weight back to give her space. He reached out and gently stroked her knee. "I am not in a rush, Roxy. Having you sitting here, breathing the same air as me, is enough for today. The feast can wait."
Roxy smiled, her heart warming at the Fox’s understanding. But as she leaned back, she felt the rigid, unyielding tension vibrating through the massive White Tiger behind her.
Torian had not relaxed. In fact, his broad shoulders were stiffer than iron, and his large hands, which had been expertly massaging her collarbone moments ago, were now clenched into tight fists resting on the back of the couch.
He let out a low, rumbling exhale that sounded suspiciously like a sulk.
Of course he wasn’t going to concede easily.
Roxy rolled her eyes internally. Her big babies act differently and her big tiger was insufferable.
Roxy tilted her head back, looking up at Torian’s upside-down face. The usually stoic tiger had a heavy, brooding frown on his face. His jaw was clenched, and his dark eyes were stormy.
"Torian?" Roxy asked softly, reaching up to trace the sharp line of his jaw. "Why the grumpy face? Ren said he can wait. Are you upset?"
Torian averted his eyes, looking toward the crackling fireplace. For a long moment, the proud Tiger refused to speak. Then, with a heavy sigh that ruffled Roxy’s hair, he confessed.
"I am... jealous," Torian rumbled, the admission tearing from his throat like it physically pained him.
Roxy blinked in surprise. "Jealous? Of who? Zarek and Kaelen?"
"Of all of them," Torian muttered, his deep voice thick with a raw, unexpected vulnerability. He finally looked down at her, his eyes burning. "Zarek has his heir, Drax. Kaelen has Iris, Axel and Onyx. Syris has the scaled child, Tanith. And now... even the King of the Spires has a son to carry his legacy. I am the only Alpha without a cub to hold."
Roxy’s breath hitched. The pure, unadulterated longing in Torian’s voice squeezed her heart like a vice. He wasn’t just horny; he was feeling left behind. He was feeling inadequate in the most primal way possible.
But that wasn’t her fault.
Before Roxy could open her mouth to comfort him, a bright, crystal-clear blue holographic window popped into existence right in front of Roxy’s face.
Roxy stared at it in utter disbelief. Just twenty minutes ago, when she had begged for a cure for the apocalyptic Wither-Rot Plague, the System had glitched out, flashed error codes, and claimed ’Divine Access Denied.’
But apparently, the divine network was perfectly functional when it came to her sex life.
[System Quest Generated: The Tiger’s Legacy.]
[Objective: Conceive a child with Torian. Solidify the pack dynamics and increase his Affection to 100%.]
[Reward: 10,000 LP and the ’White Tiger’s Blessing’.]
Simultaneously, a small, glowing progress bar materialized directly over Torian’s head, visible only to Roxy.
[Torian’s Affection: 95%]
Roxy let out a long, internal groan, rolling her eyes so hard she nearly saw her own brain.
Are you serious right now? she screamed at the System in her mind.
You block my calls about a deadly plague, but you give me a breeding quest? And 95%?!
What does that even mean? He’s deducting five percent of his love for me just because my uterus has been occupied by a shark baby for the last few months?!
The System, predictably, offered no further comment, the blue window simply hovering there in smug silence.
Roxy swiped the window away, bringing her attention back to the men. She needed to handle this delicately. But before she could formulate a comforting response for the Tiger, Ren cleared his throat, drawing her attention back to the front of the couch. 𝕗𝕣𝐞𝐞𝘄𝐞𝚋𝚗𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗹.𝚌𝕠𝚖
"While Torian’s grievances are heavily focused on the future," Ren pointed out, his cheeks dusting with a faint pink blush, "my issues are a bit more... present."
Roxy looked at the Fox. "What do you mean?"
Ren grimaced, gesturing vaguely to his lap. "The other issue, my Queen, is that this guy refuses to go down."
Roxy’s gaze dropped. Sure enough, straining aggressively against the fabric of Ren’s linen trousers was a massive, undeniable erection.
Ren’s bushy red tail wagged continuously, betraying his nervous, pent-up energy. "I know I said I could wait, Roxy, but my beast is clawing at the walls. I only ever slept with you a few times before you got lost inside the water. I didn’t get the chance to thoroughly mark my scent on you like the others did. To me, you still smell like the ocean, and it terrifies me."
Roxy narrowed her eyes at him suspiciously as she bit her lower lip. She looked from Ren’s pleading, desperate green eyes to the heavy, brooding presence of the White Tiger behind her.
Torian had shifted his stance, and even through the thick cushions of the couch, Roxy could feel that he was just as hard, just as demanding, and just as starved as the Fox.
She was sore. She was exhausted. But looking at these two men who had mourned her, waited for her, and were now laying their deepest insecurities bare at her feet, she knew she couldn’t just walk upstairs and leave them aching.
She needed a compromise. Something that wouldn’t require her to do a marathon session in a bed, but would still satisfy their primal need to claim her.
"Okay," Roxy breathed, a slow, brilliant idea forming in her mind. "Okay, I hear you both."
She placed a hand on Ren’s knee, then reached back to pat Torian’s solid thigh.
"We can’t do this in the house," Roxy whispered, keeping her voice low and conspiratorial. "It’s too crowded. The walls have ears, and the children could walk in anytime."
Torian frowned. "Then where? The forest is unsafe."
"Not the whole forest," Roxy corrected, a mischievous glint entering her violet eyes. "The pond."
Ren’s ears perked up instantly.
Just behind the Iron-Wood Manor, nestled within a grove of thick willows, was a deep, crystal-clear natural pond. Roxy loved it. More importantly, Zarek had spent the last two years drenching that specific perimeter in his terrifying, territorial Dragon aura.
He had made absolutely sure that no stray beastkin, no wandering predators, and no nosy neighbors dared to roam anywhere near that water. It was the most secure, private location in the entire territory.
"The cool water will help my sore muscles," Roxy explained, slowly pushing herself up off the couch. Her legs trembled slightly, but the anticipation was already beginning to override her exhaustion. "And the privacy means we can make as much noise as we want."
Torian and Ren looked at each other. The competitive tension that usually simmered between the Alphas vanished, replaced by a sudden, unified spark of excitement.
They wanted one thing and that was Roxy.
"Come on, boys," Roxy purred, standing to face them. "We are going to have lots of fun together."
